I've ALWAYS had a great experience here. The food is DELICIOUS, service is very polite, and it's easy to come in and order to go. We've eaten in as well with no issue. The biggest thing to say is their Menifee location is far superior and the average rating of 3.5 stars feels under-rated and ridiculous. A little disappointing i didn't even get to take a picture because it was just not up to expectation, normally i go to the one in san clemente and its amazing but this location was not the same at all. The orange chicken was super dry as if it was reheated a ton of times the flavor was not there same thing with the coconut shrimp i had, the crab rangoon which is what i loved from here had very to little filling in it so it just tasted like fried dough. Hours later my man starting throwing up and having diarrhea his stomach was hurting but I didn't think it was the food because it hadn't hit anybody else so I thought he was just having a stomach bug but this morning I woke up at 5am and was using both the toilet and trash can it was a mess. It has gradually (slowly but surely) declined since. My husband calls it a "hit or miss". Today... it was the worst it's ever been! The main dish (Chicken w/Hot Garlic Sauce) is watery and tasteless, the rice is the most horrible I've had in years!! It literally is (I'm positive) yesterday's rice! Sticklers on the substitutes. There's is only 1 vegetarian option out of about 25. Lame. Bottles of sriracha were almost empty on the tables. Service was meeehhh. Ambiance was meeehhh. Table felt sticky and unsanitary. I was served my food in a plastic container which felt unhealthy due to all the studies of plastic steeping into food especially when hot, not to mention all the additional waste to our earth. We had a menu flyer for China Bros and today was the day that we went there for lunch. We came on a Tuesday and ordered Orange Chicken and Kung Pao from the daily lunch menu. The food was fresh and plentiful and...for me...a huge plus was it was not overly salty! Each lunch item comes with noodles and steamed white rice in generous portions. Unfortunately, they did not have steamed brown rice but that was not a deal breaker. The main items are served in a plastic dish with dividers and so I asked if you want to take it home, is there a lid that fits and there was! Well done! Prices are reasonable. It is a small shop in the center opposite Menifee Marketplace. Decided to give this place another try with my mom tonight and I'm absolutely glad that I did! The food was phenomenal as well as the service! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh and hot and was brought out very quickly tonight. When we arrived, it was packed and we were able to get one of the only two seats available. It was impressive to see that even with the busyness of in house and to go orders that the entire restaurant was very clean. Everything we ordered tasted really good, and I would be happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for taste of some of the best chinese food in Menifee.
