It's always such a weird vibe in this Waba, but the cashier was nice enough. Got food to take home (I live 3 minutes away) by the time I went to eat parts of my meal were cold, especially my potstickers/salmon. Initially I didn't think much of it until I started puking everything all throughout the night and morning. My mom's food was also cold but she microwaved it, apparently I should have also done this. However, I think it shouldn't have been the responsibility of the consumer to make sure their food was kept at the correct temperature because we didn't keep it out for too long before eating. The food handling is especially questionable at this location, seems like the employees don't care about anything. I will not be returning to this location or any other Waba Grill anytime soon. read more

Not sure what we were served but we placed an order for pick up at 6:43pm and this was the steak and chicken I was served was tiny diced up overcooked I couldn't even tell what kind of steak we got it looked like a pulled pork version of steak. It was salty and dry super frustrating. Everything was cold and the food was subpar. I have had the Temecula location it was way better than this. read more

They suck and very mean people they didn't let me get a drink very mean cashier I'm really disappointed with my experience at Waba Grill. The food was nowhere near what I expected. My chicken was dry and overcooked, the rice tasted old, and the veggies were barely warm. For the price you pay, the quality just isn't there. On top of that, the service wasn't great. The staff seemed rushed and didn't really care about fixing the issue when I mentioned the food wasn't fresh. Food was decent however the customer service was the worst I've seen in a long time. Katelyn, who took my order was rude with an attitude. She was so bothered to help me. IT STINKS IN THERE. THERE WAS POOP IN THE BATHROOMS, we love waba but this location heck no. As soon as you walk in it smells like rotten eggs. Walked in at 45 min till closing time! Place had door open with mop bucket by front door and 1/2 the store with chairs up and the lady had the register opened and closed out!! the lady said she'd be with us in a bit- while the cook stood there just looking and bored. We felt that the lady was purposely trying not to take our order! She was putting receipts in the bags as she hoped we just walk out! If she just took our order the cook could cook and everyone can get on with their night but to get purposely take her time but want to get out of there is counter productive! We ordered and she was short and rude! Asking if we were dinning in or not? Of course we were eating in we had to travel back 2hrs to get home! She was sooo disappointed and I said we will be fast even though the place doesn't close for 45min!! I said we stay in a corner and out of your way! I was feeling felt bad and I don't know why?? I'm the customer! Does she not know that WABA's are closing Down even some locations only have 1 employee working and replacing humans with KIOSKS!! she should be happy to that hasn't happened here! When we choose a place to eat knowing that we as women wouild need to go to the restroom before we hit a 2hr trip home had I known she wasn't going to let us use the restroom cause she mopped it 30min prior to closing she told us" BATHROOM IS CLOSED!!" Came in for my usual beef bowl . Was seen by the lanky kid then ignored for about 5 mins while he stood halfway behind the wall seemingly texting . I finally said something to place my order, he had the worst most negative piss baby attitude I have witnessed in a long time . I saw him scoop rice in my bowl and then take Half of it out leaving me with a super small amount of rice (not sure if thier supposed to weigh thier portions but he didn't) . Then he grabs the different veggies with tongs and aggressively dunks them in water for less than 1 second , throwing a ton of water in my bowl in the process(seemingly on purpose). The bowl was disgusting stinky water soup. I love waba grill and thought maybe he's having a bad day and I got unlucky, so I decided to give it another shot on another day, and sure enough I got the same kid, with the same terrible attitude, with the same disregard and neglect for customers, quality food, and service . Also noticed the times this guy was at the register the veggies smelled like rotten sewage . If you see this kid at the front when you walk in, just turn around and go somewhere else, trust me. This portion is no bueno. I payed $16 for a small bowl with avacado with a side shrimp and it only came with two pieces? That is so inconsiderate and i don't know who to blame the staff, management, or corporate themselves! When i came to this location 3 years ago the staff was better with their portions the ones working today on 3/12/21 were awkward and had no chemistry. And I don't want to be a karen but at least have the same respect you would have while serving your loved ones. Would you give this to your mother?? Disrespectful and outrageous for the price. Menu indicates to pick a sauce. Lists sauces and does not mention any extra charge for any of the listed sauces. When I got my order is when they asked me if I wanted sauce, not during. I told them which sauce I wanted and they told me it would be an extra charge. Just to make sure, I attempted an online order. Lo and behold, no extra charge for the sauce she was trying to charge me for in store. Could be considered a scam, maybe not, but definitely sus and the lady who seemed to be in charge couldn't explain why there was no indication of extra charge for sauces. Super shady. I am very unhappy with this establishment. They didn't want to serve us because they were ready to close early, even though it wasn't closing time. We ordered two family meals, and the rice was low on all of the containers, and they up-charged me for dumplings and drinks, and when i got home they didn't even give me the dumplings, and they left all of the containers half empty. I also mentioned while i was ordering that they looked low, and the man ignored me completely. I plan on going back tomorrow with photo evidence and the receipt to get my money back. Normally this location is good about service but today not so much. There's nothing worse than bothering someone at their job while their at work. Its cold the door was open because we were the only ones that sat down to eat inside. My kid got cold and one of us closed the door we got the mad dog face and employee walks and opens the door. The dumplings orders were 2 short of 20 and 3short of 20 @$11.39 each. Bathrooms out of order sign but employees using key to enter and use bathrooms. My son order and done it was my turn but the employee look like he was going to walk away from the register and i asked him if he was going to take my order or walk away ...yeah ill take your order. First time trying WaBa Grill and it didn't disappoint. It's a chain with "teriyaki style" rice-veggie-protein bowls and plates, similar to Flame Broiler if you ask me. Nothing special about the space, casual indoor seating available or you can take it to go as I did to eat at home. I ordered online for pickup and it was simple enough, no glitches with the process, and food was ready with a smile when I arrived. This location is situated at the far end of a large and busy shopping center with all entrances and exits at the other side, which is slightly inconvenient. Plenty of parking. Got two rice-veggie-plantspired steak bowls and was very impressed with the vegan meat option! The texture and flavor were on point and the char on it really adds a depth of flavor and takes it to the next level. The only two things I would gripe about are: 1) the size of the vegetables served, way too big of pieces that I wish they would cut smaller so I didn't have to, 2) they forgot the spicy carrot sides I added to each bowl. All in all this place is a good convenient option that is accessible, fairly priced, and moderately healthy. They have multiple vegan proteins, tofu and plantspired steak, which is another plus. First I do like this restaurant. I still go every once in awhile but ever since Covid they have gotten extremely stingy with the sauce. Their sauce is a big part of what makes this place so good! This place is BOMB!!! I got the steak veggies bowl!! Man!! I ate it up and forgot take pictures! So mad I forgot but its was so delicious. I've visited different WaBa grills in the past, and one thing they always have in common is that it is very clean! I love how fresh the food is here, cooked right in front of you. The food is deliciously healthy and I appreciate the great customer service. The only problem I had here was how stingy they are with the WaBa sauce. They gave me 2 little packets for my chicken and veggie bowl, and 2 for the steak plate. That sauce is waaay too good for such a small amount! Definitely should be self serve. So I am a regular, today was an awful experience, first I usually buy the family meal with added drinks and dumplings that normally comes out to around $34 but they don't have that option anymore, so I got the family meal a side of 20 dumplings and one large drink, all that came out to $44 dollars that's a ten dollar upcharge! When I got the cup I asked for 3 water cups. They got me my food really fast but my food was surprisingly not all that warm. The issue came when I decided to pour my kiddos drink from my cup, I would have let them all sip from my cup but I had two sick kiddos, plus with unlimited refills that I paid for I did not see the big deal. The big deal came when rude employee Katlyn R. was like you cannot share your drink in the water cups. I reminded them that I already paid for the drink and that I had already been severely upcharged plus that was my first cup and at max I would have gotten 1 more refill. She was like that's our policy and with a bad attitude and said if she continued to see that she would have to charge she then went and grabbed the manager, he was a bit better but was still trying to say that I could not share my drink. I reminded them they removed the ability to add on and that I was already paying more than usual, but they were not helpful at all, I asked him if he would like continue making a big deal out of nothing and he continued, so I let them know that this would be the last time of me coming in, and It left such a bad taste in my mouth I got my refund back and yeah now I am sharing with you guys. Waba grill you guys have got to do better and honestly why remove a drink deal and then get mad at the customer for sharing their drink? I felt really singled out so now the real question is, was it worth losing $44 dollars in an already empty restaurant and a repeat customer, it's like employees need to learn how to choose and pick their battles and also not to be so rude..I hate that this happened and I won't be back....plus the food is substandard at best....I guess I gotta take the longer trip to flame broiler. read more

They just allowed four individuals without face coverings into the restaurant. Out of the group of five, only one person had a mask. I would have rated them a five because my bowl was good. However, they should ensure everyone is following the mandate to wear a face covering inside a restaurant regardless if it's just takeout. read more

I want to say that waba grill is one of favorite places for go to take out. This afternoon I went to waba to pick up a take out. However I was disappointed to see that the guy working in kitchen cutting the chicken and steak meats was not wearing face mask. I have say he was happily humming a song and not wearing a mask. The young lady taking the order and another guy working in the kitchen were wearing masks but the guy preparing the food. In this pandemic the store manager has an obligation to protect the public. How do I know the guy who is not wearing a mask is not infected? read more

Okay, 5 stars for a chain restaurant? Yep, this place earned it. Our office had been waiting in desperation for this location to open, because our choices are limited in Winchester. Upon entering, the business was super fresh-looking, modern, and clean, with extensive tilework and LED screen menus. Our food arrived quickly and the owner came by to check on us during our stay. The food itself was a generous portion. However, it can get a little pricey. We will definitely be back. read more
