Okay, 5 stars for a chain restaurant? Yep, this place earned it. Our office had been waiting in desperation for this location to open, because our choices are limited in Winchester. Upon entering, the business was super fresh-looking, modern, and clean, with extensive tilework and LED screen menus. Our food arrived quickly and the owner came by to check on us during our stay. The food itself was a generous portion. However, it can get a little pricey. We will definitely be back. read more

WaBa Grill - Salmon with plentiful avocado! - Fast Food Near Me - Winchester, California

Honestly had high hopes but they fell very short. The customer was good very polite but the food tasted unbelievably burnt and was stuffed with rice probably to save on adding more ingredients. The WaBa sauce was delicious but I can honestly say I'll never eat there again. read more

So, let me start off by saying that I used to go to Terriyaki Ninja a lot, and loved that place. Now that they are gone, and been gone a year or more, I need a place to get my terriyaki chicken fix. This place is right by my house, and both me and the wife like it....me chicken, wife salmon. read more

Ordered a white meat, chicken bowl and the chicken was way too chewy. It had a rubbery texture and wasn't edible. The steak didn't taste good either. Very disappointed. read more

Very clean place and the service is always friendly! I am always able to customaize my food any way I would like. I get the chicken lightly brushed with the sauce and it's perfect every time! read more

This place is quick and fast teriyaki place. Went in there and we got our food within 5 mins and the quality for a fast cheaper food was good. Good place if you like teriyaki like me! read more

The customer service here needs some work! Yulema at the front counter was rude and just looked miserable. She didn't even greet me when I came in and when I got to the counter to order she said "what do you want" very rudely. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she had some personal issues going on but then I saw her laughing with the cooks in the back so now I know she's just rude. She also left my order at the front and walked away and never asked if I needed anything else. Poor customer service!! read more

Always fresh and delicious! The veggies are always steamed to perfection and the meats are abundant and clean cut - no gristle (blah!) and the bowls are generous. We prefer WaBa Grill bowls over Flame Broiler any day! read more

Went in here after work and service wasn't that great. I ordered the plant based steak bowl and they gave me chicken and steak. I didn't realize until I got home so we drove back to correct the simple issue, the cashier Stephanie E got defensive and said she heard me say steak and chicken, (which wouldn't make sense because I've been vegetarian for 5+ years) . They made us pay $2 extra to change there mistake. My boyfriend thanked her and tried to be nice but she didn't respond to anything he was saying I didn't mind that they messed up my order but the nasty attitude, defensive responses and making us pay extra has resulted in this location losing our business. read more

Ate here yesterday, great food, a healthy alternative from fast food. Had their new Spicy Pork rice bowl, excellent! ! Music was a bit loud inside but that could just be me getting older. HAHAHA. Nice clean, brand new restaurant in the area. Staff was very friendly. read more

We love WaBa Grill. Fresh chicken and delicious veggies over rice, yummy! I usually order a chicken bowl but once in awhile I'll over the Waba plate that has both the steak & chicken.. read more

So. Not bad. My chef didn't blanch the veggies long enough and my carrots were stone cold. That happens in a fast paced place, especially if they dip pre cooked carrots in hot water to reheat them, like they do here. So I brought my bowl up and asked if I could swap out my cold carrots for hot broccoli. Lady at the counter asks if they can pull out the carrots, I say sure. My whole bowl gets tossed angrily in the trash by the chef. Ooookay. Maybe they have to do that if food gets sent back? Maybe they wanted to remake the whole thing so that it would be hot? Maybe he's irritated that the bowl was sent back? All plausible. New bowl comes out quickly, all food is hot. Only one thing, my rice is now brown instead of white. Whatever. I asked for white, but I'm over it and just want to eat. Plus, a whole bowl already got wasted on my behalf and that sucks. I don't like sending food back in the first place and wouldn't have if it hadn't been cold. So the food. It's billed as ribeye, it's very thinly sliced beef, chopped and cooked well done. The rice and vegetables are standard. They give your bowl a quick swirl over of sauce that gives a good amount of the House sauce. There's additional sauce in packets and lemons and green onions if you'd like to add them. It was ok, very similar to flame broiler. Not bad, not great.Squarely ok. I'd rather go for something great somewhere else. read more

WaBa Bowl is a good for when you just wanna quick meal that satisfies, and fills you up.

Glad we checked this place out. Very good food. If your up for something different, give this place a shot. Great chicken!

Stellar service, fast and fresh food, very clean kitchen and dining area. I usually order a salmon bowl but I recommend all the items on the menu. read more

You need to train your cashiers to be more respectful and have patience!! Horrible customer service!! Ain't coming back here

Customer service was ok. We didn't get much interaction back when asking questions...I'm giving them a 4 only because our Veggies were almost raw so it did cool down the bowl and would have liked to have answers about the Waba Grill answered by the person taking our order... I googled about the company instead but I would have enjoyed the info from an employee in my neighborhood Waba grill. The meat tasted great and came with a decent portion but for $9.50 I wish that there was less rice vs other items. We had a Waba Plate and a Chicken bowl. The meat was tasty and fresh, the veggies were fresh just not cooked enough. We were excited to get more choices close by... I hope the location works out as it is a great addition to the area. read more

Ate there today and it was awesome! Very clean and the staff was smiling and joking around. It's a great addition to the area, especially if you want a healthier option. I will be coming back again soon. read more

This is a very good restaurant. The food is amazing. Chicken seasoned to perfection. Nice steamed vegetables. My only concern was the price. 2 bowls where 12.30 in my opinion very over priced but the food amazing. read more

I've been a long time customer here. I have not been in a bit. Honestly their customer service has not always been great but today I was happy to be greeted by a polite young man. He took my order and provided my food quickly. 5 stars for the customer service he provided. read more

I come here many times and it's been great. I came today with my son to eat. My son loves watching the surfing on the tv but this time there was none. Instead they had Spanish channel on... Hmmm I asked politely if they could put English on... anything so the rest of the guest could understand. Well they did not. Yes I guess i guess i dont really like listening to Spanish in a surf environment. Guess the cooks are more important then the guests. read more

So glad to finally have a WaBa in the neighborhood. The WaBa bowl is my favorite, with chicken and beef teriyaki in it. WaBa sauce beats any other chain teriyaki sauce flavor by a mile. Service is so dang friendly here too! Thanks WaBa Grill French Valley! read more

We came here as a quick semi "healthy" meal option during a busy week. The food was really nothing special

They just opened not that long ago, it's clean, service is friendly and food is great, can't get any better than this.

Don't waste your time or money unless you like bland food. No wonder why the place was empty. That's a bad sign when there are not many other food places on the block. read more

I tried Waba grill for the first time and got the salmon bowl. The piece of salmon was tiny, dry and burnt compared to the loaded bowl of rice. I then thought well I'll try it again another time and give it a second chance. Well after the second time I'm sorry but I won't be returning. I ordered a waba bowl with light rice and double meat, however, the meat was dry and burnt; not to mention it was on a mountain of rice. So it seemed like it was a normal amount of rice and meat. But I paid so much more for extra meat that I did not get. Flame broiler is way better. read more

Wow! Amazing bowls and this is the first one I've been too where the rice is perfect!!

Bought one bowl, expensive though, but the rice was filled up all the way to the top of the lid and the meat was just about 1/3 cup size! Why? Is it like a greedy thing or a lazy thing!? read more
