Stopped by to grab lunch because my youngest has been begging for a "Cheeto burrito" so you'd think these items would have actual Cheetos in it, NOPE. It's literally a "Cheeto flavored cheese sauce" which I'm positive is just plain nacho cheese, what a joke because it tastes nothing like Cheetos. The only time you get actual Cheetos is a small bag with the burrito meal combo, so disappointing. The fish tacos are the size of a two year old's hand, the french fries were limp and not very fresh. Plus their app is down for maintenance as well which sucked. It's ok, we won't be back for a while if not never again at least not to this location! read more

Only reason we came is because it was one of the only establishments open on Xmas. But for normal business hours ask yourself, "why?" With so many authentic Mexican establishments in the area. I wouldn't came back to this chain. Low quality food that looks nothing like what is displayed. read more

The last 3 times I've ordered at the drive thru, items have been missing from my order, the kid at the window can't figure out how to count back change and the manager told me I can get some kind of credits. The Del Taco in French Valley. Food: delicious; Atmosphere: ordered drive thru then went inside. Very quiet with no music or TV for dine in. SERVICE: The reason for the 2 star overall rating. "New Chicken Options Starting at $5" (banner) does not list individual pricing, only that the three items start at $5. The large Del Taco menu also does not list the prices of these items. No where on either menu, inside or out, are these menu items listed by price. I spoke with the manager (Sheryl) who instead of apologizing for the mixup or lack of follow through, talked to me as if I was in the wrong. I did not want anything from them but only to inform them of the oversight. In this case, Manager 1, Del Taco patron 0. Next time I will think again about patronizing this Del Taco. read more

I come here to eat lunch almost every day when I work. I work here at stater bros and when I have 30 min lunches. Del taco food service is fast and efficient!! I get the small tacos and drinks. Food is always warm and tastes good! The hot sauce makes it better as well! Drove through the drive thru and our card was declined. We added money so we proceeded to go in and pay for our food. My boyfriend was told 'drive thru only'. To find out that the manager had already paid for our food and proceeded to tell my boyfriend just take the food and get out. First, we weren't asking for our food to be paid for..very kind of you. But to proceed to tell someone to grab the food and get out is absolutely rude! And we get our order and it wasn't even our order! Totally different items. The problem with the store is the manager Sarah. She allows the food to go out sub par. The burrito was cold the beans were hard and cold not to mention they didn't even wrap the burrito and just threw everything in the bag. The inside of the burrito was all over the bag. They don't know how to order because they're out of cups which was not a big deal but all Sarah could say was we'll wrap the burrito over and over again. Towards the end of the burrito while taking a bite, I felt something hard I squeezed with my teeth and looked down because it's odd to feel something hard in a bean and cheese burrito and I saw a HUGE insect! The wing was sticking out. I immediately felt disgusted and I handed the burrito to my boyfriend who took a picture and opened it up to find that disgusting HUGE insect in the photos. I am in shock! I normally like this location during the day, but last night around 10pm we went through and my son (7 year old) like the bean and cheese burritos... specifically with no sauce. He will not eat it if it has green or red sauce at all. We were exhausted and starving after a really long day.... And we got home with our order. BOTH of his burritos had red sauce on them. Ugh. So he had zero food that he would eat. We were so tired, we door-dashed two more burritos with no sauce. But the time they got to our house.... He was dead asleep on our couch. So he got no dinner. so I first ordered a Fiesta pack a week ago, this led to an intense case of food poisoning that followed to the next day while I was at work (almost had to call off) then last night on Halloween I went out, came home to my mom who had ordered a Fiesta pack and has been up all night sick out of her mind. I am an avid connoisseur of del taco, I have been to thousands of locations and never once have I had an experience with a manager at any location like this one. The audacity of any establishment to blame costomers for their food being mad wrong amazes me, I will never return to this location ever again. If I could leave negative stars I would! I will tell the next 500 people I speak to about how horrible my friends and I were treated on this day, I will tell my soon to be born child about this when he is old enough to understand how rude and incompetent some people can be.
