This was my first time visiting Panda Express in over a decade. It was just as good as I remembered. The establishment was clean. I was a bit overwhelmed with the food options which was good. I was able to sample a few options prior to purchasing. All staff member were friendly and helpful. This was a great afforable option for food. read more

Panda Express - Plate - Chinese Near Me - Walpole, Massachusetts

I used to love coming to this location almost daily during the work week. Then they went days without orange chicken which is their main item. The workers had no idea where the manager was for days too. They said he forgot to order the orange chicken. The last straw was today. There were only two employees. One serving the food and one woman cooking. I'm not counting the manager because he was just on his cell phone seemingly just personal chatting. No string bean chicken. No fried rice. No mushroom chicken. No chicken Teriyaki...etc. This is the middle of the day and it seems like it's their new norm now. I won't be wasting anymore of my lunch breaks to witness empty food wells/pots and just hoping the two items they decide to make are what I want. read more

The food is never prepared, they short you on the amount of food serves, the staff is very lazy and they don't want to work. The place being clean is the only upside to this location. read more

Stopped in for lunch ; first time this location First impression, very clean , well staffed , All employees are in clean uniforms. I was greeted, ask how my day was... wow Friendly employees too! Saw the new fire cracker steak and shrimp veggies special Ordered a plate with 2 options Had the greens instead of rice or noodles, FC steak and shrimp upgrade for 1.50 . 2nd option was orange chicken I thought was fresh, hot, excellent steak and shrimp, chicken good, greens I wanted more steam and flavors... maybe a lemon sauce flavor... 12.00 for a full size lunch was very fair . They gave me a sample the peach fruit drink to market me to buy... drink was good. Very impressed... 10 .40 bucks and $1.50 upgrade for tender steak, perfect shrimp... McDonald's cheese burger and fries cost more...was 5 stars, but greens need some sauce or seasons . I'll revisit, quick service, fresh cooked, quality food, healthy lunch ... for 12.95 bucks with all taxes ... read more

Highly recommend the family meal for a large family! It can easily feed 6 hungry eaters and still have some leftovers. The orange chicken is a must order as it is not bready. It has a good ratio of batter and chicken. Food is constantly being cooked as stuff runs out. Service is prompt. The dining area is well lit and plenty of space to eat. One bathroom each is available for men and women. Although it was a bit dark in the bathroom, it was relatively clean. read more

Upgrading for 5 stars because 1) I love the hours and how it opens relatively early in the morning! 2) it's fast and convenient, easy to order. 3) plenty of free parking. read more

For a fast food Chinese restaurant that's also a chain, I find the dishes here to be really good. I would even go as far to say that they're comparable in quality to some full service Chinese restaurants. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from including appetizers and the food is always hot and fresh. The service is quick and for a person on a 1 hour lunch break, I feel that this place is ideal. read more

This was a solid meal. Nothing stuck out as amazing but quick, clean, good flavor, fresh and hot food and FRIENDLY SERVICE, which seems exceedingly difficult to find these days. There were 2 people at the counter and they were equally friendly to each guests who came in after me and kindly offered each a sample while ordering. Orders were respectfully communicated back to the staff that was cooking. I preferred the chicken and green beans, that were very crisp, over the angus beef. The rice was a little dry, but better once I mixed the chicken in. I would return for a quick meal. read more

Today was my first visit to Panda Express. Overall I'd say it was average. First impression when you walk in is that the place is very clean. The service was good, I was greeted and offered a sample if needed. Looking at the food I was a little put off as there was not much of anything bowls, small amounts of everything. I did end up getting the orange chicken, fried rice and a soda. The rice was a nice hot temp but a little bland. The chicken was a couple degrees over room temp, if it was served at a higher temp, I probably would have really enjoyed it, but it was still good. Price may be slightly to high for the quality of food you are getting. I will say that at some places the fountain beverages are way to high on the carbonated water and not enough syrup, at Panda Express the consistency was spot on. read more

I am a big fan of Panda Express....many great choices, calories are spelled out clearly, food is good. First time at this location in Walpole. When we approached the counter, a nice lady asked us what we wanted, but her accent was very difficult to understand...after a few tries, we were able to communicate. My Teriyaki chicken and black pepper chicken were good. My BF got the broccoli beef and that was not very good. The broccoli tasted like it had freezer burn. Overall not as fresh as other Panda Express locations I've been to. read more

Great service very friendly! The food is always great and consistent!I found this gem today and like I said before finding pandas out here are very far and few. Ryan helped me today very friendly and lots of energy! This guy deserves a raise! read more

Panda Express - Yummy - Chinese Near Me - Walpole, Massachusetts

Seriously the employees here are some of the most rudest people...you can stand there waiting to be served and they will ignore all eye contact, keep their heads down, and act as if they don't see you right in FRONT of their faces. And please don't speak up unless you want to get back major attitude in return. Honestly every time I walk in there and see it's one of those Haitian girls working there I can't help but to groan. It's always a problem....ALWAYS. I've had pleasant visits when I'm being served by the manager there...he's usually attentive and if he's busy he'll acknowledge me and tell me to hold for a second which is much appreciated. But I could careless about the rest of the staff. As a matter of fact I went in a couple days ago and was completely IGNORED and I walked out. So I'm done with this location. I won't be going back and I will tell others the same read more

About what you would expect from this type of fast food place. One thing I don't like is $1.50 up charge for most entrees. List the higher price to start on you board not the lowest possible cost. Even a sign stating premium entrees +xXxX and id them. Food was ok. read more

The staff really does a good job here. There's only so much you can expect from a Chinese fast food restaurant but the crew here makes up for the restaurant's shortcomings. Thanks read more

Back in the day there used to be a $1 dollar a serving Chinese place in Lynn. THAT place is better than the Chinese food served at this panda express. Drove 35 minutes there because I've never had it before. Spent $40, got home, took 2 bites and threw it out. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

I am very unimpressed with this Panda Express. It's great food don't get me wrong, but it's almost never ready. The term "fast food" does not apply here because the staff never has the food ready. I have to wait upwards of 10 minutes just for the food to be cooked. A line builds up and the whole thing is a mess. I'm not sure if the manager is aware of this, but some serious changes need to be made. I've also come to pick up an online order and every single time I walk into an empty restaurant, yet my food has not been made. Keep in mind it said my online order was ready to be picked up. I hope these changes can be made. It's not a short drive and I don't appreciate terrible service. read more

Its such a good place to eat especially with family, some dishes are spicy which I highly recommend eating. I highly recommend you try out the Fire Cracker, with white rice or sweet fire. Orange chicken is my favorite dish out of all since its sweet and spicy all at the same time. Recommended eating here. read more

This place is getting bad under new manager. He consitently serves in a inconsistent way, very rude and few of the times, he doesnt even listen to your order completely. This has been the case for last 3-4 visits but I ignored. This time, i asked jat a little extra chowmein and he put a whole bunch of it as an entree and then charged me for a 'bigger plate' entree. Disnt even liaten what I was saying and keep making face. I hope corporate take a note of the review and does the followup. read more

I use to LOVE coming here when I was in high school. It was fairly new at the time and the food was great. I loved the fact that it wasn't an open buffet on the customers end so nobody would have to worry about other guests coughing, sneezing or breathing over the food. Everything was always fresh. I recently came with my mom. I haven't been since high school because I had moved away from the area. Mom and I did some shopping and I realized that Panda was right there! I was super excited. So we walk in and immediately we're struck with uncomfortable heat. Now I'm always cold and I had to take my sweatshirt off, so that's saying enough right there. We waited for about a few minutes to be served and usually I would go for a panda bowl, but I was feeling feisty and decided on a meal: chow mein (my usual), fried rice and garlic chicken- which typically I'd go with Orange chicken but this looked good. I can't even tell you how dry everything was. I was so shocked at the poor quality. Honestly, the quality of every item depends on when you go. Normally when the item is just cooked or only a half hour passes by (maximum) it's edible. It tasted as though all three items were out during the night or something. I literally couldn't even eat it. It seems as though this location has gone down hill, and it's such a shame. It really was my favorite place to go for Chinese. read more

Dear girl behind the counter: when there's only a few pieces of chicken left in the pot, which clearly doesn't amount to any amount close to an "entree", for the love of God stop scraping the bottom of the pot with your serving spoon to make it look like the giblets and leftover sauce you're dumping on my plate counts as my orange chicken entree. read more

This was my first time having Panda Express, maybe it would've been good fresh and hot but this stuff had clearly been out all day. Weird part was not only did I have to ask for my change, but the cashier took the fortune cookies out of my bag before she gave it to me. Is this normal? read more

"As good as it gets" in terms of Asian fast food. The food is delicious & the customer service is excellent. Panda Express is so great it's actually hard for me to pass this place without stopping in for a bite! read more

Without a doubt the worst Asian food I have had in many years. But to be fair, let's start with what they do right: THE GOOD NEWS: The workers are pleasant and industrious. They do an excellent job of keeping things clean and stocked. And the wait times, even when busy, are quite short. At least this was true this evening. And the food LOOKS really good ! THE BAD NEWS: We ordered some various Pork, Chicken, and Beef Entrees and Sides. The only flavor I could discern is SALT. Orange Chicken is not crispy, nor orange. The Beef tastes like Beef, but soggy, hardly any flavor. The Pork equally bland. Most dishes were totally indistinguishable from each other. And the Small Entrees are really, really small - barely more than a couple of mouthfuls. I've had better- MUCH BETTER food from Food Courts - even from Supermarket Frozen ! read more

Large soda pretty much folded in half while trying to drink covered me and my food. Watch the cups!!

First time here. . Got there 20 minutes after they opened. Food was not hot.. not even warm. Room temperature at best. I asked manager if they could heat my food.. his reply was nope.. no apologies for serving room temperature food. Or offering any suggestions. I know it's fast food. But many better options nearby. Oh well I tried. Wouldn't come back to this location... nope read more

BEWARE!!! This Panda Express in Walpole on Providence Hwy is unable to keep the different dishes available for immediate order. I have been there several times, they used to have everything cooked and ready. Unfortunately on each of the last few visits I tried to order different entrees for my family and they would say that I would need to wait for certain items to be cooked 5-7 minutes. Well they would never put the other items they still had available in the trays to wait until the missing ones were available. A big line would come thru and they would run out of those items causing me to wait there for over 20 minutes. I timed it the last time and it was 23 minutes. I contacted the Panda Express they didn't respond to the message for several weeks. They said they would send a gift card but never did...poor customer service. This same wait has happened at least 3 times maybe 4. Unfortunately it looks like I will never eat there again, I drive 30 - 40 minutes to get there, I don't have time for this kind of inefficient service. They need to fill your tray with food they have, put it under the warmer until they can add the missing items and then it WOULD be quick. Procedures are all wrong...BEWARE!! read more

I was here at this location was really skeptical before I got in.I sat in my car and contemplate if to eat here or the burger joint next door.I got brave and walk in to my surprise it was really clean kept, which in my eyes is a rule if I should walk or go, I walk up to the counter and peep at the steam table, employee greeted me with a pleasant smile.I then told her what I want n she was given me samples when I didn't ask,I think it was a great way of suggestive selling,I order to spicy items. Why!!! Mouth on fire the young probably see it leaking through me and offer me a cup of water....Now that is CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE! I would definitely be back :-) read more

Considering the name contains the word "Express" it pains me how often we've gone there to find 5 or 6 (or more) of the serving dishes empty and you have to wait for them to cook up a new batch of those items. Express means no waiting! I am also put off by their pricing system. Some items are called 'entrees'. Some are called 'sides'. It's completely arbitrary, especially since many of the items called 'entrees' would -always- be called sides at any other restaurant. Cream Cheese Rangoon, for example. And yes, it's -cream cheese- Rangoon: no crab implied or provided. For a certain price, you get to choose two 'entrees' and one 'side'. I would prefer if they just counted everything as an 'item' and you could pick any three. It would be much simpler and I don't think the cost to Panda Express would be much different. One side note: what they call Chow Mein would generally pass as Lo Mein at most Chinese restaurants in this area. No crunchy twisty noodles here. The quality of the food is fine, but honestly you could do better at many local 'American Chinese' restaurants found all over Massachusetts. Why not patronize a local business instead? read more

Worst service at a Panda I've ever been to. It showed they close at 9pm, I got there at 8:45pm and the "OPEN" sign was still turned on but they wouldn't serve me. Was told they stop making food for customers at 8:30 and shut the kitchen down "a while ago". Drove 20 minutes to get there in time for no reason. read more

Do not come to this Panda Express any time after 8pm if you're hungry. Kitchen staff refuses to serve you or make more food in order for them to "have it cleaned and closed on time". In my experience with any food place you SERVE until 9pm. If you want to close at 8pm then change the hours. So ridiculous and unprofessional. At least five guys next door stays open until 9pm :) read more

1st, the food is always great, but today the orange chicken was not. It had no Orange flavor... This is unusual for this location, but today it was very dry. there was no orange sauce. I wanted to fill out this survey because you have an employee who always impresses me. She was not there today but I see her a lot and wanted to fill this out. I believe she is a manager, female, shorter and maybe Latina... Her customer service skills are amazing! She pays attention to everything! And I have seen her helping guests and then going back to the line to cook, and then the register. She is a jack of all trades, and you can tell she always knows what is going on. When there is a long line, she jumps right in and gets everyone taken care of fast. I wish I knew her name, but if she is not a manger, she needs to be, and if she is... She is keeping your restaurant alive! Love the Service! Thank you! read more

Jose, working the front counter should be recognized for his incredible service. He was equally cheery and helpful to every person in line.

I stop here on my way back to RI almost every time I'm in the area. It's better than the mall version. Everything is fresh and you can see the chefs cooking it in the back. The food is tasty and the portions are generous. It's a small place and it's the same set up as the mall versions where you order your entrees and they plate it for you and you take it to your seat. Priced appropriately. The staff is pretty much always nice, I've never had a bad experience. If you're on RT.1 and don't want the Taco Bell next door I recommend it. read more

Worst customer service ever! The lady behind the counter was extremely rude. I asked for potstickers and she just kept saying no instead of telling me it's not on the menu anymore.
