I wish I had something positive to say - I guess they were fast. Boneless spareribs were jerky. Wonton soup - the wonton's were good, but the soup itself was a saltfest. Can't say that I would give a grab and go spot a second chance, but if you are in a hurry - maybe. Everything was fresh. Go with the wontons. read more

Undercooked under fried food Rude servers They give plastic instead of silverware Horrible food read more

Really good quality Chinese food - everything is always hot and fresh. My favorite treat is the sugar buns that they have - omg it's like a delicious sugary cloud of goodness. All of their dishes are well seasoned, and I've yet to have anything I didn't like. There are some preference things I would change - like I don't enjoy having peas and carrots in my lobster sauce - but the sauce is still awesome. The staff are friendly; and it's mostly a take out place with no room to sit. read more

We used to love the food here but last weekend we got take out and it was really bad, low quality food. We will not be back.

China Sky's fried chicken fingers are delicious. I went by someone elses review and was pleasantly surprised. Also got the house chow fun noodles and those were top tier as well. Dumplings were delicious but a little doughey, and I liked that. I will definately come back here again. read more

Awful, food was over cooked. Sauces lacked flavor and appeared to be watered down. Dumplings were very doughy and not much meat. Imitation crab and didn't see any lobster that was supposed to be in a dish. read more

I have ordered takeout about a half dozen times there over the last few months. The food comes hot and tastes fresh. Mu Shu Chicken was excellent, ginger chicken with string beans very good also. Beef teriyaki app very good all times but one where the beef was a little tough. All other times it too was very good. Two thumbs up. One other thing - this is a take out only restaurant and their packaging is quality packaging and there has never been any spilling! VIP read more

SO GLAD I FOUND THIS PLACE! I'm from Westwood and it's so hard to find good quality asian food around this area. It's a rare find to get Pork Buns. Everything was delicious! Worth the trip to Medfield for sure! read more

China Sky - Family dinners - Chinese Near Me - Medfield, Massachusetts

Four stars for what it is. A pretty decent townie Chinese restaurant. They have a large menu and when we order takeout everything is always hot and fresh. read more

I live just about 10 min away and the restaurant has been my take out option for substantial amount of time to post my review about it. This is best asian food in town hands down, asian family owned and run. They are always nice and quick to deliver. Thank you. read more

Asian family owned take out restaurant. They're very friendly and polite. And definitely know their food. It's the best asian food around the area. I go with szechuan beef for lunch and curry chicken for dinner. Recommend. read more

Terrible. Giving two stars instead of one because they're really nice, but the food is bland and no prepared delicately. Kung Pao pork was not in a proper sauce, had almost no visible chili peppers, and registered barely above 0 on the heat scale. Fail. Chicken with Cashews isn't something I usually order, but this too was off. I've never had a hoisin flavor in this before, didn't care for it. The words "knife skills" apparently aren't part of the vocabulary either, as the components were pretty much hacked together. I wish these nice folks well, and the Medfieldites seem content, but I won't be back. read more

Pretty good chinese

Always great food. Always kind service. This place is the best! Love China sky. The food is always hot and affordable.

We just tried them for dinner tonight for the first time! Everything was delicious! We really liked their sesame shrimp, steamed tofu with veggies, and my 2 year old son devoured some crab rangoon and lo mein. Nothing was greasy- not even the fried appetizers. read more

Excellent take out Chinese food. I highly recommend this place. Prices are reasonable and quantity is great. We usually get two meals out of one order which makes it great for sharing. read more

No matter how many times you repeat in precise language the items ordered, there are frequently errors. One young woman who mans the front end does a reasonable job of getting the correct order placed. Then another young lady is poorly instructed in taking orders, perhaps a language issue. What is worse is that the front end has two telephones and two lines. The young lady takes your credit card, has great difficulty in searching on the monitor for your telephone number which is the key to the order. Then one or both telephone lines ring and she spends the next 4 to eight minutes taking more orders while you stand there growing more impatient knowing that your food sits on the counter in back getting cold in the totally unheated restaurant and even cold kitchen. You would think the kitchen would be warm but everyone is in heavy winter coats and winter overalls. Management is terrible even as the food is excellent. Just got home with the take-out to find that whoever packed the quart of soup snapped in half (broke) the cover! Eegad cleanup. I'm wAiting here 45 minutes while 3 order items grow cold and they supposedly are preparing correctly the two that I psid for but were missing or incorrect, all the while the young lady keeps fielding new telephone orders as six customers who ordered are standing here in the cold vestibule. read more

The kid that works upfront is rude to customers I've been a customer for 5 years never going back there

My second go at China Sky. 129. China Sky Soup for 2 $15.95 A rare combination of scallop, lobster, crabmeat and shrimp with selected greens in a delicious broth. Good soup lots of seafood, nice big shrimp, lots of scollop (nice and tender not overcooked) pieces of actual lobster and real crab, I mean REAL including the tendons in the legs so watch out for those :) Very bland though, I added some soy and ginger at home to give it a little zip. This could be an exceptional soup if the cooks added some nice spices. 110. 4 Beef Teriyaki $6.95 The worst beef teriyaki I have ever had! I'm not a mean person and I don't like saying this but it was awful. I have made Beef Teriyaki at home and even my first try, which was nothing to write home about, put this to shame. If you like bland non marinated tough beef on a stick (possibly boiled) go for it! Please Owners of China Sky change this! 111. 4 Fried Jumbo Shrimp $6.45 These were a type I have not had before, you will not mistake these for the chinese style that are batter dipped. These are lightly breaded, butter flied shrimp, they were tender and not overcooked. Quite good! 112. 6 Crab Rangoon $4.95 Just your average run of the mill Crab rangoon. If there was a little more filling I could get excited over these, non greasy, pretty delicious Rangoons. 301. Shredded Pork with Peking Sauce $10.45 Very good! Yummy peking sauce. They do not come with any wraps which I am used to for this particular dish from other restaurants. I lucked out and had lettuce at home to use as wraps. H27. Peking Duck (Peking) $32.45 The crispy skin of a whole duck served on crepe accompanied with hoisin sauce tender scallion brushed and shredded cucumber. GOOD Peking Duck! Pricey but good. Presented very well for take out! I'll have to refer to this weeks order as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly! Only 3 stars so they dropped this visit. I'll update agin next visit. read more

Very disappointed with China Sky. This is what I ordered: Egg roll : average Spring roll: average Boneless spareribs: unedible. Unchewable. Like leather Crab Rangoon: good Chicken wing: good Chicken terriiyaki: good, but deep fried Beef terriyaki: horrible, shoe leather Fried rice.: flavorless, not fresh, no pork Pork chow mein: good, but not typical. Brown sauce. So many better places out there like Keihei on a good day, Asia treasures. Ate what I could, and the rest went in the bin. China Sky really needs to reevaluate their recipes. If you can't make tasty fried rice, close your doors. read more

Amazing Chinese food and super tasty! Yum. I'd eat anything on the menu. Everything coming out of the kitchen looks delicious. They will adjust the spice level accordingly. Great service. Never disappoint. read more

My wife and I tried their lunch special and we were both impressed. The rice was tasty and the main course was also very good. The price is a bit high, but the quality seemed to justify the price. Hopefully the competition in the town between ChinaSky and Jings Garden will help to raise the bar on Chinese food in Medfield. I think China Sky is better than the competition in town. We will see if the others can raise their game to meet this challenge. read more

Love their food, only take out no dine in. Great hot and sour soup, delicious appetizers and had the sesame crispy chicken which was wicked gourmet with white meat chicken. read more

I have tried lots of chinese places in the medfield, westwood, norwood and dedham areas and this place is my favorite. We have had it twice now. It looks like a simple carry-out chinese place but the food quality is really good! Here are my ratings of the items we have tried: (5) Excellent - chicken fingers (awesome --crispy but not greasy), pork dumplings, hot and sour soup (4) Very good - scallion pancakes (awesome flavor but I only rated them a 4 because they were a little soggy both times we ordered them), egg drop soup, general gao chicken, kung pao chicken (3) Average- pork fried rice (but a little better 2nd time we ordered it) (2) OK (1) Not good - beef teriyaki (my husband and I both think that they forgot to put the teriyaki sauce on the beef teriyaki. It had no flavor at all and looked like completely plain beef. We will try it again sometime to see if our assumption is correct) Overall we are very happy with this restaurant find! read more

Love this restaurant Because they have the best fried chicken and dumplings I ever had their white rice is really good to but they are only takeout read more

My family has been coming to this restaurant for taking out for years. ON mothers day we informed them as usual of a shellfish allergy. My sister found shrimp in the fried rice I was eating, my throat started to close, my lips swelled, and my chest turned red. I missed a day of work and school. my sister mom, and I are allergic to shellfish. They wouldn't reimburse us all of our money. I almost had to go to the ER luckily I got the reaction to stop with antihistamines (3 benadryl and 2 allegra) around the clock for 24 hours. I am very disappointed as they have had our business for years, and our family has spend 1000's there and the best garlic chicken I have ever had in my life. We can no longer eat from them for our safety. Wish there was a better outcome I am so saddened and bummed. I loved their food, read more

Food is pretty good..they deliver which is a plus especially when my 83 old mom is home alone ...very nice staff

Compared to a few other places in the area the food is pretty good. However, it's not consistent. A few times the pork fried rice was great, other times it had taste of leftover fried oil. And some of the chicken dishes are bland. The sweet & sour had the worst sauce I ever tasted. The best thing we found was crispy sesame dishes on their Special menu. We got back for that, the egg rolls, and the wantons. read more

Very good and reasonably priced. Ginger shrimp with green beans is delicious. Everything tastes fresh.

Best Chinese food take-out in town. The owner and her daughter are super nice and the food is delicious. Our favorites include scallion pancakes, dumplings, eggplant with garlic sauce, shrimp with garlic sauce, and steamed fish with tofu and black bean sauce. read more

I am so happy to have China Sky in Medfield.we need them, a perfect new option for town. It's small but big on flavor and attentive service. I had delicious take out last week , and I've since gone again when I had a group for dinner, unexpectedly ... Everyone loved it. Try the "Amazing chicken", it is. They're friendly , it's clean and reasonable prices. There is a small area to eat in too. There's an open kitchen you can see and smell the delicious food being prepared. I was especially impressed by the very fresh vegetables ,not the usual over cooked you often get, I highly recommend China Sky!! read more

Don't know what happened but the last few times the food tasted like the plastic in the containers and the food itself has just not been good, even the boneless ribs are now lousy. Won't be going here anymore. read more

This is our go to Chinese take out place for the area. The fried appetizers always have a nice crunch to them but are not overly drenched in oil. The vegetables in the entrees always taste fresh and crisp. The portions are very generous. We've tried most of the house specials, and all are outstanding, especially any of the Amazing or Sesame dishes. The girl at the front desk is always friendly, their preparation time is very quick and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended. read more

The food here are fantastic! I personally love those house special dishes in which they had pictures hang on the wall. My favorite dishes are the beef scallion pancake, general Tsao's chicken, sesame shrimp and singapore rice noodle. And the price are reasonable for their generous size of dishes. The The girl who works in the front desk is very friendly too. Overall, those dishes are over my expectation, i would strongly recommend people who like Chinese food to order their take-out. read more

A great take out place but needs serious improvement inside. Food quality is surprisingly good food for such a small place. I have had some trouble ordering because of the staff not understanding what I'm exactly saying but it's a good Chinese place.
