Perhaps there is a systemic issue at this location for the workers, but their power struggles and disgruntled attitudes are really getting old. It's clear they removed some of the last workers that were flexing on patrons, but they need a current employee audit again. This location only exists because of the proximity it lays to Stevenson Ranch which is a very economically important to the city, but you would think there would be some pride in your job in such a beautiful area. It's clear it's now a corporate assembly line housed with "factory farmed employees" rather than "a happy burger stand" like in and out just down the street. This is not a happy McDonalds location by any means, but they do have a nice play palace for the kids. This company, the owner, and management should be ashamed. I have to have my Chinese fix every once in a while. Surprisingly enough, there are not many good Chinese places around the Stevenson Ranch-Valencia corridor. What is good about this Panda Express? This is the one at this same location with Albertsons (Sav-On) Supermarket off The Old Road and I-5, near Rancho Pico Junior High and West Ranch HS. A little bit background about myself, I'm a pleasant person to all regardless of how expensive cars people drive. (It's obvious around Stevenson Ranch and Valencia where many cars are worth someone's two-year salary and houses are at least half or a quarter million dollars.) I always greet people in a cheerful voice. I usually get back the same thing. So when I see that my favorite veggie dish is about two hours old, I ask when a new veggie dish will be ready. A wait is never more than 10 minutes. Freshly cooked, crispy vegetables with little oil and Chinese sauce is one of my favorite dishes at Panda Express. The noodles are yummy, too. Panda Express gets an overall 4 stars because a) I can cook Kung Pao chicken better and spicier than any Chinese restaurants, if I have time and energy. (I use Panda Express Kung Pao sauce sold at local supermarkets and coarsely ground, dried SUPER HOT chilli pepper.) b) Its peppery sauce is not that great. c) Spring rolls and egg rolls are usually soggy inside. And d) no soup! What no soup???!!!! Staff behind the counter is generally pleasant. Prices are reasonable. Parking is plenty. I never eat in so I cannot rate the facility. The stupid lady in charge tonight, most likely not from here, doesn't know anything about customer service. Had an amazing experience at the Panda Express in Valencia thanks to Austin! For it being a fast food spot, the level of customer service was 100%. He greeted me with a smile, offered great suggestions, and even gave me samples of their lemonade so I could pick the one I liked best. It really made my visit stand out.
