I went there on a Friday night recently, and their posted closing time hours for that day was 9pm. When I got there at about 7:50pm, they had very few items left to pick from (they had stopped cooking early) and they admitted that they wanted to close early. Since they did not have enough orange chicken to complete my dinner, they had to use the new "Beyond Orange Chicken" (the premium) orange chicken to round out my order, but then they had the nerve to charged me the up-charge. Then, at about 8:05pm, when my family and I were eating our dinner, they then had the audacity to come to our table and hassle us about eating fast, in hopes we would be done by the time they finished cleaning up. While I was eating my dinner there, I must have observed at least 10 to 15 parties that came in after me, many of whom were turned away since there was so little food to pick from. It took me a full week to get in touch with the manager there to complain (they hardly answer the phones during business hours) and this piece of work was less than apologetic and basically seemed to condone everything that had transpired. He did comment on my demeanor, however, since I had refused to rush our dinners so they could go home early. I simply do not understand how so many businesses these days don't even want the honor the hours of operations that are posted on the front doors and websites. Do not come on weekdays any time after 3 or even during lunch. All kids from high school storm the place. Employees understandably are swamped. Even then, I just spent ~$14 on hard overcooked rice and chicken that went soggy while I waited 15-20 minutes for wet broccoli. Not satisfied. This has got to be the worst and poorly managed Panda I've been to. I live in the neighborhood and order online from this restaurant at least once a week. Busy week at the office doing contracts..calling people, getting permits and of course...trying to stay out of the heat...However, today was pretty light and much cooler than the 100+ Degrees. So, I looked up where to get Chinese Food...Either AB Chinese or just get Panda Express. So, I'll save AB Chinese Food for another time and better occasion. There were two Panda Express in the area..excluding the one if its still in the Six Flags. For some reason, the Yelp Map has it at the wrong location. Its near the the Valencia exit. Oh well. When you enter from The Old Road, make a right and go the far end. Panda Express is almost next to the I-5 South Exit. This Panda Express is a nice location. It has tables outside and lots of room inside. There was a lot of people, but it didn't seem that crowded. I was greeted by an Asian lady..lol. Ok, cool...an Asian person working at a sort of Asian restaurant. I ordered a To Go Two-Plate Item ($5.75). I had half and half with Orange Chicken and Beef Broccoli. Its pretty standard favorite for majority. The lady offered me samples, but if I did take them I wouldn't need a meal anymore..lol My total came out to be $6.31 with no drink. The portion is small, but I guess I am used to getting a box filled with food. I guess I can safely say it was a conservative portion. Look at my photo. Didn't get lucky tonight. Ordered before 5:30 online , it said food would be ready 22-25 mins. We got there at 22 mins. and they had not started our order. Waited outside addtl. 20 mins. This is one of the the most incompetant stores I've ever been too. First of all they were out of 4 popular dishes including white rice and there is only one cook making the stuff. Its 6:30pm on a summer Friday night and they are not ready for the rush. Place is employed by a bunch of incompetent people and an absent never to be seen manager. Placed and picked up a to go order. Gave my name and they gave me a sealed bag saying its my order. Drove all the way home to find out I got a completely different order. Tried to call without an answer. Drove all the way back and the employees started arguing with me that I didn't place an order. Showed them my email confirmation and what do you know I did place an order. No apology, nothing. I asked to speak to the manager and he is not there. I've come in to this Panda Express several time, but always after six flags. So I'm always pooped and always really hungry haha That being said, customer service has always been good, and the food has been tasty, standard Panda Express. It's never as crowded as I think it's going to be. Which is good! They have indoor and outdoor seating. (Not a shocker as that is the norm at this place) Young woman behind counter told me straight up, "this is what we have and not making more." I said, really? Wow, it's like that? I walked out as quick as I entered. She didn't offer up options - didn't seem to care. Why would she? Not her joint, she just works there. Not sure of the volume of this particular Panda but in our hood there's about zero options for Chinese and it's in the most affluent section of Santa Clarita. Panda ain't nothing great other than if you include price in the review. It's a decent, quick and cheap meal for the family. This place is far from perfect and inconsistent over the eight years I've gotten food here, but most of time good enough for the kid. Historically, I have been anti Panda Express. There are just too many good Chinese restaurants for me to settle. That said, since Panda Express added brown rice, I have been more open to trying them out. The customer service at this location is great, but the quality of their food seems to be below average, even by fast food standards. I only stop in out of necessity, when I don't have time to grab food elsewhere. I can't say that I enjoy my meals from here, but they do the trick (trick being to keep me from starving). Overall, as long you have realistic expectations, Panda Express could be a decent, fast option for you. I can not call them a must try, but can't call them a must avoid either. 2 stars. read more

I have been at this Panda location three times and will never ever come back again. Every time I come and order they always say there is a wait for about 15 mins because they have to make the food. Here is a suggestion: if you start to run low on the menu items, you should start cooking a new batch instead of making the customers wait. That is the whole point of calling it "Pandaexpress"! The first two time I get it but by the third time they told me to wait is an issue. When I told them about the wait issue the worker by the name of Karen P gave me an attitude with her quick remarks. In additional, she gave me very small portions. I threw the food away because I think she might of done something to my food.:(. I am always satisfy with this panda express except for today the person who helped me (Pualina). It seemed very obvious she didn't want help me, it took at least 3 mins until someone had to tell her to come and serve me. This girl has a personal problem with me which is unfair because I spend my money here to get a fair portion of food and I left very upset for the fact that I feel uncomfortable to ever come back. Never had any issues and this is unprofessional, it seems to be that if a person has a problem with you they will take it out on you even if you come to their job. Just your normal neighborhood Panda Express. Came for a quick lunch on Tuesday. It's in a huge plaza with Albertsons, Starbucks, Robeks, etc. so parking is plentiful. Place wasn't too busy and it was only a like a half hour since opening so the food was still relatively fresh. Pretty spacious restaurant so lots of seating. Prices are what you expect but I did find the portions a lot smaller than other places. They were kind of stingy on the meat and gave like 80% of a scoop instead of the full scoop (details details). Maybe my stomach will thank me later. Overall, nothing spectacular about this location. However, right around 12:30 a whole BUNCH of little elementary or junior high kids pranced in for lunch. I have no idea if this is a regular thing (when were kids allowed out of school for lunch??) or maybe just a one time field trip. It got packed and noisy, which was our cue to leave. Rude people behind the counter and the people tend to make you wait long times. If other people come in after you and they don't have what you want they will have you wait. I waited as I saw the food come up and they started to serve it to new guests coming in. I couldn't stress this enough. Dont go there. I went with my family this evening for dinner and for starters I had to wait for my food (i normally dont mind but this was only the beginning), the cashier was nice and offered us free drinks while we waited and I accepted. After our food was bagged we went out to the car to bring the rest of my family food and when I had got there I realized that some of my food was missing. Again no big deal I went in and got the missing food. When I returned I noticed that my sauce container had spilled all over the inside of the bag. I didn't want to go back a third time so we just continued eating. My boyfriend went to throw the trash away by the front door and a RAT ran across the sidewalk infront of the door.
