Was visiting a friend over the weekend when we decided to stop here to eat and man how glad I am! The restaurant was packed with a long wait list but it was well worth it. Once you get inside, you are shown where to sit and they have a QR code to scan to order! I love the website, it was super user friendly with good descriptions of each food as well as pictures! The interactions you have with the workers are very limited because of this. We got an order of the Pork Xiao Long Bao and just simply beautiful! They had a lot of favor and broth! It paired amazing with the vinegar/soy sauce they have on every single table. The Shrimp Har Gow was actually my top favorite item we got that. It's such a tiny item but it was PACKED with shrimp! If you're going to go, please try this dish out. I haven't stop thinking about it since. The Sautéed Bok Choy was also very delicious. I wanted something for the health, and we were both glad with this dish. My friend is a very picky eater and never even heard of Bok Choy before, but I managed to convince her to try and she loved it! This dish is definitely picker eater approved! It has a great crunch while having a lot of flavor. The Spicy Pork Wontons were solid delicious dish as well! It was my friend's favorite item! We both agreed that the sauce was the perfect amount of spicy! The last item we got was a Chow Mein! I will say it was nothing special but overall great eat and heated up well the next day! The restaurant itself was super tiny and just buzzing with all the different conversations everybody was having! I did like the videos of the preparing the food on the tv! It was very bright and clean in the restaurant! Overall, I enjoyed this restaurant! It was a great change up from the usual spot I like to go too. everything about going I definitely recommend the Xiao Long Bao and the Shrimp Har Gow!!

3/10/2026: The weather was a little cooler and Momma Kiki was craving Asian food.. One Bite Dumpling for the win! I can't put enough description under the images but let me tell you about the soup that I crave and can't get anywhere else unless I go to San Gabriel Valley. This is a MUST try! If you're a fan of full flavored foods. It is the best, most unique "new to me" dish I've tried in a long while, and this is my fifth time ordering because I am completely addicted! Listed under ENTREES instead of soup, the first time I ordered I expected a platter with fish and pickled greens. When the bowl of soup arrived I was confused, but once I tasted it I was NOT disappointed! It's called Fish Filets with Pickled Mustard Greens 酸菜鱼 on the menu, the Chinese name is suan cai yu for those who know. Tender fish fillets simmered in a bold Sichuan chili broth. Sichuan peppercorns produce a phenomenon which the lips and tongue feel as though they are vibrating and go slightly numb - known as má. I order mine "less spicy" and it still has a little heat but just enough to be tasty, not to bring the pain. Regular is a little spicy for me and the "Extra Spice" must be for the real heat seekers. You can also request them to add their rice noodles to the dish if you're feeling slurpy.. it's delicious either way! The other dish, the Eggplant with Garlic Sauce is new and I'd get that again, too. Let's be honest I haven't had anything bad yet! But be adventurous and try the Fish Filets with Pickled Mustard Greens. Get a bowl to share with your table! Your tastebuds will thank me.

Went off the board for pork wonton soup. Worst tasting soup I've ever had. Got up and walked out after one spoonful. Music was very offbeat and not an easy listen. Place was kinda crowded so they must be doing something right. But it was a bad draw for me.

While looking for something different for lunch, we happened upon seeing One Bite Dumpling in our Yelp feed. One Bite Dumpling (一口香饺子坊) is a casual, family-owned restaurant just off I-5 at the Lyons exit in Santa Clarita. The restaurant's interior's layout did not give a great impression, however by the name we could tell the food was exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant is known for its on-site handmade dumplings and dim sum. The menu features a variety of dim sum and regular Chinese dishes, including many vegetarian and vegan options. Ordering is via QR code using one's phone or tablet. The menu is easy to navigate. If there are any special instructions when ordering, write it in the open space provided, and they will accommodate. If you can not access, or prefer not to order this way, the front counter person would be happy to assist in placing your order. One Bite Dumpling only takes credit or debit cards. No cash at this time. While service can be hit or miss, the food was definitely worth the trip and another visit will definitely follow.

One Bite Dumpling in Santa Clarita is such a gem! Everything we ordered was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The chicken dumplings were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and had that satisfying bite with each mouthful. You can really taste the freshness in the filling and the balance of flavors in the wrapper. The spicy eggplant was a standout dish. It had just the right amount of heat, rich sauce, and a soft, melt in your mouth texture that paired beautifully with the other dishes. The lotus leaf wrapped rice was comforting and aromatic, with the lotus leaf adding a subtle fragrance that made it feel extra special and authentic. Great food, solid portions, and a welcoming spot that delivers on quality. If you're craving dumplings and flavorful Chinese dishes in Santa Clarita, One Bite Dumpling is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back!

Every time I come into town, I have to go to this place. The food is absolutely delicious. One of the best dumpling spots I've ever been to! Service is super friendly and the ambience is small hole in the wall. I feel like this place is one of SCV's best kept secrets, but everyone should be going and know about this place!

I think I'm spoiled from Din Tai Fung, so the Xiao Long Bao's were not for me (and I forgot to take a pic lol). Decided to finally try this spot since we've had it on our list for a while and because we were in the area grabbing coffee. Parking is horrid. We luckily found plenty of street parking but the way this lot is built, forces you to park over the lines which literally everyone did so we couldn't even squeeze into any of the "open" spots. We were greeted by the friendly and very welcoming staff! The manager (didn't get her name) was always checking in on us and making sure we had what we needed. She also asked about my coffee and where we got it from and although they don't allow outside food and drinks, she allowed it this time as long as we didn't leave it behind. Small restaurant overall but packed and busy when we were there. They have a QR ordering system and you check out once you place the order which felt a bit weird since they ask for tip. Felt weird tipping ahead of time? Food came out really quick though which was nice. Again, I don't really like the dumplings, definitely not "one-bite" since the dumplings are huge lol! The entrees were great tho! The Mongolian beef was spicy, surprisingly but very flavorful and delicious. The garlic string beans were yummy but I also didn't care for the bbq pork buns. The bread was just not to our liking and really stick to your teeth/mouth lol. Overall still great spot for the other entrees and I do want to come back and try their black bean fish! It was a long wait (we went on a Saturday night, prime time for dinner!) but well worth the wait for a very authentic and delicious dim sum spot! The servers were kind and quick to bring our food out. You order on your phone, on their website and also pay at the same time so it's easy to get in and out (you don't have to wait for a server to bring your check). Very hole-in-the-wall vibes inside but in my opinion that's how you know it'll be good :)

I came here because of the high ratings. And honestly,I think this place is white washed and inauthentic. So sad that I wasn't able to get the yummy experience everyone is talking about. Service:) - The service was the great the two women at the front were super friendly and accommodating. Dumplings :(- Not good at all. I barely touched my food. The dumplings (pork xiao long bao) were sour and the seasonings tasted very off. The wrapping was flimsy-tasted like paper and the texture was slimy. The filling inside was stinky and had a sour-vinegary taste. I asked the servers what the sour taste came from and they assured me no sour ingredients were added so I questioned if they had serve me an old batch, which they denied. I felt crazy and brought it home for my family to try because maybe I my taste buds were just off but they also confirmed that the dumplings tasted awful from the inside out. Other- I also got the lunch combo (Szechuan chicken, egg drop soup, sui mai) and this was pretty below mid- the chicken was hard to chew & dry.

Grey spot if you're looking for some authentic Asian food. They also have dim sum options. We got those steamed chicken and corn dumplings. They were made fresh and you can taste it. Eggplant and garlic sauce is one of our favorite dishes and it came out perfect not too salty. The portion is also a good size. Instead of ordering a bowl of rice, we opt for the lotus leaf sticky rice, and it was the perfect combination. Service is relatively quick you order on a QR code and pay right on the website making it very easy.

came here for a lunch stop on our way to Los Angeles. Always a good sign when it's crowded and you can see the person making the dumplings by hand! They do have a lunch special, which sounded great, but was craving some dim sum. Ordered the soup dumpling, which is generous is size, piping hot and very very tasty (especially with a little bit of soy sauce and vinegar), the pork and napa cabbage dumpling (which was our favorite. I'm sure the potsticker version of these would be out of the world too!), the pork bun (which were ok, a little too much bao bun dough, but the meat filling is tasty), the taro bun (so soft fluffy with a subtle taro flavor - really good!), egg custard bun (also so good if you love egg tart filling but in a soft, fluffy bao bun). Lastly we ordered the shumai which is usually one of our favorites, but it didn't stand out or compare with the other dim sum orders. order through the QR code at the table so service is fast and friendly.

Yummy food and huge portion sizes! Our favorites were the: 1. Shrimp and bacon fried rice 2. Xiao Long Bao 3. Garlic green beans You order and pay from your table/phone at the start and the food comes out quick. The inside is pretty small so I suggest calling before bringing a big group!

Since its opening, Yunnan Restaurant has become a staple in our rotation for good reason. The pro-tip that I almost want to gatekeep is to go for lunch because that's the only way to guarantee that all of the best cold dishes are still in stock. My family's go-to is the vinegar potato strings, bamboo shoots, and sliced mushrooms, but we've recently also gotten into getting a side order of the peanuts with anchovies. The peanuts have a great sweet and salty roasted flavor and would pair perfectly with some rice. I could honestly be happy just ordered a big plate of the vegetarian cold dishes with rice, but it would be criminal to not order some of the noodles. The Sichuan style cold noodle is my absolute favorite item on the menu. It is vinegary, spicy, a little bit sweet, and super refreshing! The noodle texture is nice and bouncy, and the sliced carrots and scallions and blanched bean curds add a great crunchy texture. Despite being meatless, this noodle dish is absolutely satisfying and delicious! Most of the praises I sing are about this cold noodle dish, but their other items are also quite yummy. I enjoy the braised garlic seafood tofu dish, which pairs well with rice, and there are whole cloves of garlic that were braised with the seafood to be subtlety sweet and not at all pungent. Over the years, the place has a good customer base for good reason. The issue is that they are ALWAYS understaffed. Don't let the hiring sign on their door fool you. Owership intentionally understaffs even when they have people hired to cut cost. They are so understaffed that customers wait over an hour on average to be seated during typical dining hours on WEEKENDS with half the restaurant seating capacity available and unused. Then ordering, the staff is so busy that they do not take in restaurant orders and ask the people seated in the restaurant to place online orders for pickup which also forces you 5o pay gratuity upfront unless you carey cash which most people no logner do then take their receipt to the cashier. Then you have the issue of this rule being selectively enforced. The staff seems to pick and choose who is forced into placing an order online vs who is not. Today we arrived at the restaurant around 6:20pm. Despite half empty, we were seated around 7:45. 10 minutes later of not being aknowledged, i wave a familaor face and he tells me that it would likely be faster if we place the order online. The order was placed by 7:57. it should order compelte by 8:28 but by 8:38 our food had not arrived. i get frustrated and ask what seemed to be staff that was already frustrated where the food is and before i even get to the part that it shows online our food was already served, he tells me: Dude, we are really busy. it will come out when its ready. a few minutes later the food came out and i asked the person bringing the food who us the manager. he said he was and i told him the situation. he took full accountability and even offered a refund saying he recognized we were regulars. i said i recognized him too and said I will not accept a refund. It is not fair to make food for people and not get paid but I told him that that someone whether it was him, the manager before he took over the shift, or ownership is accountable. This type of experience and standard of service is horrible for a business. He kept apologizing snd isnisted on a refund to his credit. I refused but thanked him for the courtesy. I made sure that above all, respect for customers should be prioritized when other service variables fall short. its the one thing that can mitigate this type of feedback and the one person that tipped this in the wrong direction leading to this review was the last straw that broke the camels back. But to be clear this is not a one incident occurence. This is the third and likely final time I come to Tasty Pot.

So she didn't even take it and said she'll bring a new one and I also asked for a refill on mine. She came back and said the people in the back is replacing the coke tank since it's emptied. My Mongolian beef was delicious and they were generous with the portion. I loved my dish, my wife salmon also came out but she didn't really like. Natalie came back with just one coke but forgot my refill. The coke she brought was flat so not good. We decided to not even bother anymore. She disappeared again until I flagged her down with another waiter help to asked for the check and boxes. The customer service here was bad and where they sat us, was smokey from the sushi chef area.
