Whenever I've used this app to order at This specific location this one human that says her name is "JAMiE" ALWAYS says she NEVER received the order on "Their" end! Quick and to the point the first time I ordered 2 Burgers on the app due to traffic and Wanting to drive up and continue on the road. I showed up and the old-lady asked me what was my order.? I told her my name and she said ohh it just came in, I didn't look through the bag however there was 2 burgers that weren't what I ordered however decided not to get upset considering this was one of my first experiences there &&n it was still 2 Burgers... (however still wasn't a good experience)! Fast forward Now today!. AGAIN.! I ordered 15 min ahead of time so I wouldn't have to experience ANY kind of delay & TO NO SURPRISE Im dealing with the same human with another inconvenience... "AGAIN.!" (Coincidence?) I believe not ... I ordered a Burger at the drive up window and paid using my phone..! I got to the window and let the human know I also had a Pick up order I placed 15-20 min ago. Then the questions began.. when did you order.? You sure it was this location.? I don't see anything on my screen.? DO YOU HAVE ANY PROOF You can show me? Never once did I feel the energy change in the air/room how I did this afternoon., however I was able to show the details in my history and THANK GOD, because she said "Oh YOU were able to find it?." Hmmm... makes you wonder if I was unable or incapable of finding it then and there I wouldn't have gotten my order... This uneasy feeling with this Human continues as I pay for my drive thru order I mention I'll take my receipt as well! (Considering that every receipt is DAMN NEAR CASH NOW because of Rewards!.) every time I've seen this HUMAN help someone the receipts are kept So now I'm waiting for my food and I state "to give me my points back or some type of cash value" since this is going to delay me and make me late ! Grabs the receipt that I was asking for since I had paid when I pulled up to the window and shows me the receipt on top with a Name "Jamie"..(again I stated yes... how do I know that's you.???) & I said okay I'll take my receipt as I reach for it and I notice she was trying to hang on to my proof of payment .? (I'm assuming since receipts are nearly cash she wants the points??) I make my way towards work now late , and upon arriving I open up the food ... & SMH.... The meat was undercooked and still mushhhhyyyy and pinkish-red && to NO SURPRISE im short ONE of my items ... First of all, I'm a huge Carls's Jr fan, but this store just ruined it for me. I was STARVED so instead of going to the monstrous IN-N-OUT burger line, I decided to go with my 2nd favorite burger, the western bacon cheeseburger. As we go through the drive thru, the gal interrupted my husband multiple times and missed my husband ordered "cris cut fries" and "as it comes" as far as the size of the combo. She also did not repeat the order back for confirmation. Then we get to the window, takes the card, then food, then asks three times, "do you want a receipt?" After he said yes the first time. We get on the road, fries were COLD , burger was ok, but the bacon was so overcooked and shriveled, you can hear me crunching loudly. I wish I had reviewed this app before ordering! There was absolutely no other customers inside the restaurant the time I went in. No Lines and the restaurant was very clean!! Service was pleasant and helpful. Orderd the Western Burger, and it did not disappoint. Got free fries and drink with my burger thanks to my coupon. Fries were fresh and yummy. When I'm on the go, Carl's Jr is one of my two favorite go-to fast food joints and my choice of when I want to go eat a burger. I love, love, love any burger made with the Beyond burger faux-meat. The other day, I picked up a Beyond BBQ Cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato added. It's a delicious alternative, but yeah -you'll pay around $15 for a combo and veggies added. Crisscut Fries and Fried zucchini are pretty bomb too, with a side of ranch dressing. I try not to eat them often, cause deep-fried stuff sometimes makes me feel lethargic! I'm saying NO to food coma! Service is nice. Ordering to-go, or drive-thru only during these times of COVID. Staff wearing masks. I've stopped by this area many times over the years on drives to and from central and Northern California. It's one of the major spots with various fast food and gas before hitting the grapevine going north or before hitting LA gridlock going south. The Carl's Jr. is convenient as the drive thru is open late, but the inside closes earlier. What I've gotten here has been pretty standard Carl's Jr., nothing to shout about. But this last visit was less than expected. I ordered the jalapeño burger combo and subbed out the fries for fried zucchini. The burger patty was dry and looked and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. Bummed me out! Was looking forward to a nice thick juicy burger. Left me unfulfilled. The zucchini on the other hand was nice and hot. No complaints there. Customer service...., could've been better. Not being from the area, I asked the cashier where the nearest, inexpensive gas was. He looked up, presumably to think, then replies, "I don't know" with a sort of "leave me alone, I'm busy" tone. He looked up again and I noticed he was looking at his order screen for the drive thru. No big deal, I decided to eat it anyway, but then I picked it up and the bottom bun was rock hard. I really don't like to complain so I decided to eat it. The line was too long at In and Out, so we decided to go to Carls Jr. at 24715 Pico Canyon Rd in Stevenson Ranch. (Poor Customer service from Joslyn). My husband ordered the Famous Star combo, and I ordered the Beyond meat Combo. I was unpacking our food from the bag and as I was getting the last few french fries out of the bag, I saw a small black bug crawling around the bottom of the bag. I showed the bug to my husband and closed the bag so the bug could not escape. We took the closed bag, drinks and food which was uneaten back to Carl's Jr. We discreetly waited on the side out of the customers hearing and began to tell Joslyn that we found a bug in the bag, she took the bag and dumbed the bag upside down on the counter. Her attitude was bad, and she kept asking us where is the the bug? At this point my husband told her you turned the bag upside down and the bug is probably somewhere on the counter by now. The entire time she had poor attitude. We were going to have her fix us another order, but her attitude was horrible. She told us she had a horrible day and continued to have a poor attitude towards us. At this point we asked for our money back and she stated that she was not going to give us a refund, but will give us another order, with her having a poor attitude we did not want another order from her. We asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager was on vacation. 15 yrs ago, Carl's Jr was my favorite fast food joint. Their $6 burgers and classic Double Western Cheeseburgers (DWC) could not be beaten back then. I'm not sure when that changed but it did, and it's been that way for a while. Every so often I try to come back (i.e. when the lines are too long at In N Out) to give them another shot. I have now abandoned those efforts. It has everything to do with the food quality. It's quite bad now. The burgers are dry, burnt and no longer have much flavor. The fries are also flavorless and soggy. The only reason I will ever return is for the spicy chicken sandwich. It's still good & it's cheap (just over a buck) so it works for a quick drive thru snack when you need sustenance. And I know it's not just this location since I had the same experience at one in Carson. Sorry Carl's Jr, I'm breaking up with you. read more

Jamie the general manager is a sweet heart. But 5' tall and the sweetest lady you will ever eve meet. One of those salt of the earth types, a woman that would do pretty much anything to make sure you have a great experience. Bathrooms a little dated, but clean smell normal and are inside of a fast food joint freeway side which is open 24hrs a day. I spoke with Jamie about some of the terrible reviews. NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED. Also asked her to add BBQ sauce to the 2 biscuits for $3.50 no problem. They will make it any way you like. That's a fact, there is no way a woman who has a limp right hand would discriminate against a special needs child. Many many of these reviews are such trash! I invite you to meet the manager before you read any other review. That's a good rule to enforce, no loitering, harassing other clients, that's a good rule to enforce. I've had horrible experiences attempting to eat here late night to the point that the people with whom I road trip refuse to stop here anymore. Every time we've tried them late night they either are out of what we want or refuse to make it. The impression I had was that they don't make the full menu during late night hours. I was making this trip around lunchtime so I decided to give them another try. This Carl's Jr. is a combination Green Burrito restaurant and carries the full menus of both. The soda fountain has multiple options for those of us who prefer non-sugary drinks: Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Diet Dr. Pepper, and Minute Maid Light. I ordered a burrito especial with chicken. The burrito wasn't bad, but there was considerably more beans in the burrito than chicken. In fact, it was hard to taste the chicken at all. I found myself searching the filling for anything chicken colored or chicken shaped since I'd been unable to locate anything even vaguely chicken textured. My fries were hot and tasty, but my friend's sweet potato fries were just warm and not crisp. She liked er burger. Outdoors, there was a patio seating area with nine tables, five tables with umbrellas that seat four people and four tables that seat two without umbrellas. I will never return during late night hours (not worth risking a mutiny in the car on a road trip) but this location does a pretty respectable job of providing lunch items. read more

Busy...Busy Day at work...Monday and Tuesday, I brought sack lunches and ate in. Tuesday, I stayed in late at work and I wasn't able to prepare any lunch for today. So, why not just go get something quick to eat. I drive out and I am on the I-5 South, I drive past Valencia Blvd, and I see smoke..Another fire?! Geez. Good thing, I am not going past Lyons Ave exit. There is a lot of fast foods here to choose from...Taco Bell, Burger King, In-N-Out, McDonalds, and El Pollo Loco. This Carl's Jr is right off the freeway when you come from the north and its across the bridge for north bounders. I had a coupon for a free medium drink with a purchase of a premium salad, not the side salads, and it was about to expire..lol. I walk in and its pretty clean and there is a waitress/employee that walks around and asks if everything is good. That's good, its not just for restaurants and how fast food places should be. I asked if they still had the Southwester Grilled Chicken Salad...and the employee said, "YES". COOL!! I ordered a Southwestern Grilled Chicken Salad ($4.99)..My FAVORITE. They replaced Southwestern with some random Hawaiian Grilled Chicken Salad. My total was $5.48. The wait wasn't long, just 3-4 minute wait. It was delicious as always. Ok, I KNOW...its not healthy because salad is associated...lol. Its just around 450 Calories. However, I am avoiding eating hamburgers and its still a better choice. I got no problems here.
