We knew going in that this was a "drive thru only" location, aka not your traditional establishment. What we didn't know was that they only have 2 bathroom stalls in total and that it's shared by the employees. As you can imagine, this isn't ideal based on location. The order itself was okay. Food was very tasty (more so than usual) but what annoyed me was that I placed an online order and when we picked it up (in a sealed bag) we were told it had everything we ordered. It didn't and we were missing the chik fil a sauce that we ordered and instead were substituted a "honey roasted bbq" sauce that no one ate and we ended up throwing away. read more

You'd think ordering sauce at Chick-fil-A would be one of the easier parts of the experience, but apparently this location treats it like a complex government operation. I asked for ketchup and mayo. Simple enough, right? The drive-thru guy somehow heard "Chick-fil-A sauce" instead. I corrected him multiple times, and he still managed to get it wrong. Pulled up to the window, checked the bag, and surprise -- a pile of Chick-fil-A sauce and no mayo. Incredible consistency when it comes to disappointing people. I told the guy at the window to please let the order taker know listening is actually part of the job description. I get it, it's fast food chicken, not fine dining, but after working a 12+ hour shift I'd at least like my condiment request to survive the trip from headset to bag. And the waffle fries? Honestly impressive. I didn't know it was possible to make fried potatoes both mushy and completely flavorless at the same time, yet this place pulls it off every visit. I have mixed feelings about this location. While I'm happy to finally have a second Chick-fil-A in SCV, I'm disappointed by the quality and service they provide. I placed a breakfast order through the app, and by the time I arrived to check in and pick it up, my order was canceled because it was after 10 AM. This was very frustrating since I placed my order while breakfast was still available, and the app even showed that my food was being prepared. I don't understand why customers have to pay and drive there only to have their order canceled as soon as they check in. This is a flaw that needs to be addressed and fixed in their app. Thankfully, when I explained the situation to an associate, they quickly gave me my order since it was already being prepared. The food itself tasted bland and was not as good as the mall location. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth and will probably stick to the mall location in the future. Overall I'm really happy with my first visit here. I placed an order for curbside pickup, a CFA sandwich and fries, and I thought an ice cream cone. Maybe 5 minutes after parking, an associate brought my food and when I realized my ice cream cone did not go through, he checked if I would order it and went back inside to pick it up for me. Very attentive and hardworking employee! I asked for a lot of pickles on my sandwich (putting 4x on the order) but my sandwich only had 2 pickle slices as normal. The bun was soft and the chicken was the best cooked CFA chicken I've had. It was so crispy on the outside and the meat was so juicy and soft. The fries on the other hand were a let down. I tried the new fries at the other Valencia location before they closed for remodel and they were great! Crispy, crunchy, and fluffy. But these seemed to be like the old fries without that crunchy outer coating, and they were not fried well either. A bit soft and room temperature. The ice cream cone was stacked high, creamy, and tasted great. Overall, another solid CFA spot. read more

Driving down the road I pulled over to this Chick-Fil-A and it was mainly drive through. They do have a seating area however it's outside only. It was in the 90's definitely not sitting outside. As there was no place to dine inside I had to go drive through and just eat in my car with the AC on. Besides there not being an inside dine area the food was great no complaints there. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially them being outside in that weather. read more

This was our first visit to this location. The tables were clean, service with a smile, cool outdoor seating with needed misters for the heat and outdoor heaters too fir when cold. No indoor seating. Good food... always. The noise from the freeway is not great, but I'm just glad I didn't have to get napkins and my bottled water to clean a table like I have to do EVERY time at In-and-Out in Oxnard. They have an automated trash can don't have to touch gross stuff. read more

Valencia location by the Mall has better quality and service. Have been to this location 3 times and each time the food tastes different and is undercooked, under seasoned, and tastes different than any other location I've been to. Overall good service from the employees, but the food quality and consistency is greatly lacking. read more

First visit here & surprised to see no dining room, but none the less the food should still be good right ? As I placed my order, I asked for a lettuce wrap sandwich and this was the lettuce given to me, two small discolored lettuce pieces, honestly just ate the chicken itself. One time I asked for mustard and they gave me hot sauce, other time asked for honey bbq and got honey mustard, ask for mayo and they give me mustard. I have lived in Santa Clarita my whole life and have grown up going to the chick fil a by the mall but the minute they closed for renovations and the chick fil a that opened across from magic mountain has made a bad reputation for chick fil a, they are never accurate with bringing food out to your car if you get curbside, they are so social media based the food doesn't even taste good at times, or comes out wrong. One time me and my coworker were on lunch and we ordered a shake they got it wrong twice and it made us late back to work. This morning I ordered ahead just like I always do and it took them over 25 minutes just to bring my two sandwiches out and there was no one else here it was not busy at all and it took them twice the time it normally does. Josh was very rude I think he is a manager because he had a stripped shirt. They had forgot my shake so I called before making the 15 minute drive there and myla was very nice and helpful and helped me get my shake. Josh was rude and dismissive and couldn't even look me in the face to tell me there was nothing he could do and I would not be getting my shake then I told him I called ahead and he said myla was busy and he didn't know when I could talk to her. I've never had such a bad experience at a chick fil A. I hope he gets retrained read more
