Having actually worked at JIB as a kid and thus knowing their food quite well I was impressed by this location. Nice full tacos and a freshly made hamburger. Even the onion rings were great. This Jack in The Box is good the only bad experience was the cashier who took my order. I came in around 3:22pm I believe she was a lead employee due to the fact her shirt being different than the rest.She was not welcoming at all and just stared at me instead of saying " Hi how can I help you? ", it was like she didnt want any communication with me.It was extremely uncomfortable especially since she didnt even smile or anything. She just stood there with this look of like what do you want type thing and get out of my face. People are friendly and they're fast at the drive thru but they're hit and miss. Really the only thing I've ever ordered here was the chorizo burrito. A few years back I was having that once a week before work and it was the bomb. Chorizo, egg, a little mashed potatoes or hash browns but no cheese and no chili for me. I stopped going because like a year ago they changed something or maybe the cook in the morning didn't make it the same. No chorizo (red) flavor that I was use too. I asked why isn't it red like normal chorizo is and they said some complained and thought it was to greasy. I was like those complainers should order the chorizo then. Why ruin one of my favorite breakfast burros. So I stopped back then and was hungry and wanted to see if they fixed that issue. The last 2 times in the past week I asked for the exact same thing I ask for every time I come in and BS, no chorizo in site no flavor of chorizo or color. I don't know what they served me but I guess I'm done with them again. I need to find a drive thru that I can get what I ordered and the great flavor I remember from long ago. Best chicken sandwich ever! I know it must seem silly to want to give a review to one of the biggest fast food chains in the country, but this particular Jack in the Box, nestled in a corner of Santa Clarita where hardly anyone travels, is the best one I've ever been to. The sandwich was not only fresh, well made, and really good, but they wrapped it so pristinely it was as lovely as a gift. I was completely astonished when I took it out of the bag and saw how convenient it was for me to eat it on the run. Those two things alone were enough for me to give it high marks, but the young woman at the window was so friendly and sweet, it just made the experience that much nicer. When I approached the window I noticed they had a sign "please wear a face covering" but I didn't have mine with me-- it was at the bottom of a beach bag on the floor of my backseat. The server never commented about it at all. (McDonald's however refused to serve me my food when I got to the window because I didn't have a mask!!) I don't know if every meal I get here will be like this, but I hope the people who served me will get credit for having done such a wonderful job. I'm even attaching a picture of my receipt in hopes that whoever was on duty that day will be told they did a great job. On a day when the weather was 104 degrees it was nice to get a cool crisp sandwich and to be greeted by a patient and affable server. Went via drive thru and was asked to donate the change I was due, but did not mention what I was donating to. Where did my change go? And on top of that I didn't get my full order that I paid for. Well, after making a bad choice of going to Wal-Mart nearby. I had to get some fast food...I mean FAST Food. I drove to the drive-thru and there was a long line, but the line went pretty fast. I only ordered 2- Jumbo Jacks ($1.79 each). My total was $3.93. I am glad they have Blink Tap here..Woot. Burger is good as always, but I only had 20 minutes left of my one hour break left. I give one extra star just because JITB saved me a little more time. However, I got Overtime pay because I had a bad day...lol.
