Unfortunately, I did not look until I was 30 minutes away in McMinnville but nevertheless, even my Asian wife immediately knew it was tripe. And before anyone feels I got the wrong order, there was one other couple in there already eating. Carnitas, not tripe. My family and i will be spending our money elsewhere. He cleaned them off and then gave them back. THAT was huge to me because I get drippy drinks all the time and no one ever cares. But he did. He went above what I've experienced before and that made a huge difference to me. I hate getting sticky from pop and I HATE having to clean my seats or my cup holders because of drippy drinks!! For a quick-service spot, it really delivered. The fries were a different story. They looked amazing, super crispy on the outside but the inside was bland and lacked flavor. They have a strange taste. I ate about five and ended up tossing the rest. I would absolutely come back... I'd just stick to the burger next time.

I've always loved their root beer but the cans you buy in the store just doesn't taste the same as the draft root beer you used to get at their restaurants. As a youngster I also absolutely loved their burgers. Recently while traveling to visit family, after my sister picked me up from the Portland airport and was driving me to her place, I was starving and spotted this location. We stopped for a late evening meal. This is actually one of those "combination fast food places" which houses both KFC and A&W. The interior definitely favors KFC decor and that's what most of the customers seemed to be there for. I, however, ordered a double cheese bacon burger (which is what it was called on the menu but used to be called the Papa Burger). I also ordered a large root beer. I was admittedly disappointed as I was expecting a frosty glass mug of root beer but I guess those days are gone. I was simply handed a cup to get it from the soda fountain. We sat in a booth that we cleaned with a few napkins. The place was not well-kept. Soon my burger was ready and retrieved from the counter. Interestingly the wrapper it was in read "Papa Burger". How could they screw that up? Wouldn't you know, instead of Tzatziki sauce, I get some disgusting brown sauce that none of us can eat. I'm not kidding either. Almost $100 down the drain.
