The guy at the second window spilled the Dr Pepper and then gave me the half full drink. I gave him an uhm and he refused to top it off. He gave me the apple meal and I f-- it and will take the loss. Then I noticed he forgot the apple juice so I went threw again. Should have driven down the road after seeing the actaul reviews here. This is the second time here, and I highly recommend going to another location. The fries were fresh, but this "large" fry has more fries printed on the background than sticking up. Yes, I checked the bag. When I'm buying trashy food, I at least expect to get the whole serving. Back home, I've used it many times and at 2 different locations and it has always let me do curbside pickup. McDonald's has been trying to rebrand lately with a new menu, and their cool touch screen ordering system. What they need is a standard for basic common sense when preparing food. I must say the majority of the McDonalds are doing better, but this one in Sherwood is worse than anything I've ever ran into. I ordered their Bacon Smokehouse Artisan Grill Chicken Sandwich. I have had this before in Seattle and it was delicious. The one I was served today was something the dollar tree down the block might do a better job at. The chicken was rubber, the cheese resembled plastic, I took one bite and the acid reflex wasn't worth the $7 I paid for this thing. It was a pathetic attempt at food, my 2 year old son could make a better sandwich. Do not eat here, the intsa-regret is real. If fast food workers want $15 an hour maybe they should up the pride they take in your work. You should have paid me to take this pile of lard infused cardboard. read more

I order a burger plain and a drink. It used to be a 50/50 that they would get that order wrong but I am happy to say over the years is now more like 60/40 I think the problem is when you place the order they are quick to enter the combo and don't go back to change it to plain. Although they tell you the order back correctly so you say thank you and move long. But, I have gone from telling them "The screen doesn't show plain" to them telling them at the 1st window that it should be plain. I've been a customer at this specific location for the past 3 years, probably stop there 4 - 5 times per week. I don't have high expectations...it IS Sherwood, but I've noticed the service over the past several months has really degraded. I'm now wondering, after my horrific experience this evening (and last as I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR THERE AGAIN!!!!), if perhaps there's been a change of ownership? So we stopped there tonight to get 2 large fountain drinks and 1 small shake. The drive thru as usual, after 9 PM on a week day, was packed. I wasn't surprised when the non-native English speaker who took the order got it wrong, but he seemed to understand the first correction and we waited FOREVER to get to the window to pay and pick up the drinks. We weren't given a total at the time of order, nor did the order come up on the screen. I had $5 prepared as I didn't remember the cost of shakes. Finally it was our turn. The older gentleman at the window said it was $4.57. Gave him $5 cash, he gave back $0.43. We throw our change in the ashtray, which is where it was tossed. We sat. We waited. It was odd. Then quite awhile later he came back and tried to hand us some sundaes. We said that wasn't our order - our drinks were right behind him on the counter. He started to argue. He demanded the $0.43 back so he could ring up our order. Uhmmmm what?!?!?! I said that wouldn't be necessary, just keep the change (we were in fact owed $0.57), give us our drinks (we repeated the order 5 times), and we'll call it good. He literally couldn't understand what we were saying...he just kept demanding the change, telling us the sundaes were our order, arguing that we didn't order drinks, but instead we had asked for fries, refusing to even acknowledge the drinks (our drinks) that were just a few inches behind him. It was MADNESS!!!! After repeating myself numerous times, I started to get louder. He slammed the window closed! That was almost comical...we're talking about 3 really simple little drinks here people. I wasn't leaving without my drinks, so we sat there. Eventually he came back and we started again with the drink order and the fact I wasn't exchanging any more money. FINALLY he started handing us drinks (at first the wrong ones again) and we were able to leave. While I was waiting for him to get the window open again, I made note of the management phone number. I called on my way out of the parking lot and left a message. Not that it will change anything, but honestly I have never had such ridiculous service in any fast food drive thru! I would rather drive into Tigard or Tualatin if I must go to McDonald's out there. It will be very inconvenient, but I just can not tolerate putting someone who does not 1) understand English (I don't care if you can speak English, you just have to be able to take an order) or 2) have any sense of customer service in a drive thru that is known to be crowded. I try to support local business, but I can't support such nonsense. And I'm wondering if in fact this business is not American owned...you're willing to live in this country and take my hard earned money, but not show me the slightest courtesy?!?!? Wow... This location has the slowest drive thru of any McDonald's I have ever been to. Consistently long wait times (last night around 8-9PM it was a 20 minute wait), and somehow after all that waiting the fries still come out lukewarm. As far as food quality, it's pretty hit or miss. Their sandwich buns are often stale, and on several occasions the biscuits were rock hard and the hashbrowns tasted like stale oil (both obviously sitting around WAY too long). read more

It's a McDonald's so the bar is pretty low. Having said this my orders are wrong maybe 50% or 60% of the time. The drive through service is also always slow with long lines. I recommend going inside and using the machine to place the order yourself as it's quicker and most likely faster. However if you order via the drive through then expect delays and incorrect orders. read more

Stopped at the McDonald's in Sherwood to pick up an order tonight. Stood at the counter for 5 minutes before anybody behind the counter acknowledged my presence. Curly haired teenage boy with glasses behind the counter, wearing the drive-thru earphone, was obviously chatting with somebody else in the restaurant, telling jokes, and paying no attention to anybody in the restaurant-- if he had been taking orders, he would have been standing at a register making entries, but instead he was just walking around, chatting and laughing. All the restaurant staff were walking around slowly, almost aimlessly, ignoring everybody who walked into the restaurant, and serving only the people in the Drive-Thru. This seems to be endemic of all McDonald's restaurants lately. Stop ignoring the people in the Lobby. This is unacceptable. If I get out of my car and walk into the restaurant, I expect to be served. I got here at about 11:50pm, 10 minutes before closing. I ordered, went to the window, paid, got most of my food but had to wait about five minutes longer for the Big Mac, I was the last person ordering tonight (12/16). Well, I get home, give everyone their food, and then I go to open my Big Mac, it's assembled purposefully wrong. The only reason I continue to go to this location is due to the fact I live so close. Literally almost every experience/interaction I have with this establishment is TERRIBLE. Everything from cold food, missing food and horrible customer service. My 11 year old son walked up to this location today. Fully masked, he just wanted to purchase an ice cream. He and older gentleman stood at the door for about 15 minutes after ringing the bell. Several employees walked past making eye contact and and didn't bother to acknowledge them in any way. I understand if policy has changed with walk ups during Covid. It only takes a moment to let your customers know, or even post something on the door letting them know. I went on to respectfully contact the "manager" Vanessa. I have spoken to her in the past and in true form she was very flippant and rude regarding the issue.
