This is a great little pizza chain restaurant. I like that you can build your own or pick one off the menu. It was my first time back in a while and I think they have added a lot more to the menu between salads and deserts etc. I got a lot of toppings and my pizza crust was kind of soggy on the bottom, so next time I'm going to ask them to cook it longer :) The service was very friendly! They will add a finishing sauce if you want before they cut it and plate it up. They have tasty fountain lemonades, I had the Marionberry lemonade. I'm giving a two star due to the sanitation. If the soda and condiment stations are dirty, I hate to see what the kitchen looks like. I would have taken more pictures but I was starting to get looks. We ordered three pizzas for in dining. Instead of putting the pizzas on a plate like they normally do, they put them in boxes. Very wasteful. When we went to throw the boxes away, the garbage can was already full of boxes. Are they trying to not do dishes. The staff seemed to have no leadership present. They acted like kids at a party. Food is amazing 99% of the time, though these last couple times seems to be the worst. The same employee several times makes it seem like it's an absolute burden to her when customers order food. The food is always rushed and the customer service is terrible. Anybody else working is always so nice and friendly, it seems as if this person only closes or works nights and is just awful to be around, i feel bad for the people that work around her. I love Mod. My complaint is why the salad greens, any of them are always brown. The romaine had so many pieces that were bad, the arugula was yellow instead of green. I asked the worker to remove a realllly brown piece of romaine and they acted like they couldn't see it. People in line were in agreement it was not acceptable to serve old brown lettuce. $15 for a salad. I would've never reviewed but this is twice in two weeks. Management, please use fresh ingredients, teach your employees how to identify lettuce that should be tossed. Very sad. Not sure I'll return after this. read more

Not a good experience last Friday @ 2pm! A guy was waiting to order a pizza when I came to order a pizza. There was one young lady who was very slowly filling a salad order from on line ordering! There was a nice young man who also made a salad to go with a online order and they both made us wait 15 minutes to order our pizza's! Unreal! And to make it worse the mozzarella cheese smelt funny and tasted like rubber. Such a waste of $12!! Also they put the to go pizza directly on the cardboard with out a piece of parchment. It stuck to the box. Yuck!! From now on I will drive from Sherwood where we live and go to the Wilsonville MOD Pizza that does a fantastic job and they are so nice. I've checked in here 9 times and not written a review? For shame! I flat-out love this pizza. I'm picky about my pizza and the fact that I can design my own, on a great thin crust, AND have it ready in mere minutes, makes me heart this place. They have a bunch of pre-designed pizzas up on the board for those who want an easy solution, but I prefer to put my own toppings together. The staff works fast to build your 'za and they have their system down so that even if you want something a bit off the main street (I like basil added after cooking), they get it right. This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences in my memory. I had surgery a month ago that has severely restricted my diet in the past month. I've been craving pizza (my favorite food) all month. I was very excited to have pizza this afternoon, but my pizza was gross. It was warmish (not hot), the vegetables were barely cooked, the cauliflower crust was soggy from the sauce, and the cheese was only melted to the point of being "mealy," but not smooth and stretchy. For the price, MOD pizza is a fantastic deal. While the sauces and cheese are quite bland, the fact that one can doctor their pizza to their liking is fun and very affordable. I am a big fan of options that they have for toppings and for the freshness and quality of ingredients. So grateful for the option to either do a gluten-free crust or cauliflower crust. We moved to Sherwood in the last month and between all the moving and unpacking, we have gone here twice. One of the selling points of dining here is that they have an awesome outdoor seating area. Dining al fresco is one of my favorite summertime joys, so eating here is a real treat. The first time that we came here, we ordered our pizza around 9:30 and left a little before 10:00. By the time we left, there was a couple ordering for take-out. The second time we ordered, it was a little after 9:00. We got our pizza, sat on the patio. I hadn't even finished my first slice of pizza when we were told that we needed to leave. Even though the employee prefaced it with a "sorry," I wanted to question her as to why we needed to leave. I thought that for some reason, they closed at 9:30 on a Sunday night. The hours on the door listed that they were open until 10:00. As we were getting into our car, someone pulled up and waltzed in to order. The oven/fire was clearly still on and they were still taking orders. The fact that we got kicked out, was incredibly irritating since we were paying customers, did not have any outside food, no one was outside to clean tables or the patio, and we weren't in anyone's way. There wasn't any logic, reason, or explanation as to why we needed to leave at 9:26. It was rude, I had the urge to speak with a manager, and left a bad taste in my mouth both literally and figuratively. We only live a couple of minutes away, but by the time we made it home to finish our pizza, it was cold, and I was pissed. We moved from Portland and looked forward to awesome, small town, personal, and kind customer service. I was incredibly disappointed that we received such poor customer service. It does not matter that this is a chain restaurant, I still had expectations to be treated kindly not only as a paying customer, but also as a human being. read more

I've been too MOD Pizza a few times and this by far is my favorite location. The staff is always friendly and willing to explain the menu. They have always worked with my special orders without any issues and seem happy to do so. The wait is usually pretty short too, depending on the crowd inside. The crust is a thinner crust so the pizzas don't take long to cook. Great place to go if you have a picky eater because everyone can have their own pizza without breaking the bank. The salads are huge and flavourful as well, and you can build your own. They always have 2 local beers on tap and each month they have a special shake flavor. Try the Marion berry lemonade. They normally do a good job unless there is a certain person working. This employee has served me at multiple locations and every time I feel as though I am burdening them by ordering food. They are viably upset that I would even come in and order. I ordered a mega which they had to make the dough for and she might as well have e rolled her eyes completely backwards and sighed to ensure I understood how much I was upsetting her. I have refused to say something the first 3 times, but this was my last straw. I ordered the pizza well done. It's still doughy in the middle. I asked for basil after and I think I might have got an entire lb basil which ruins the pie. Like I understand not loving your job but if you are going to treat customers horribly. At least make the food decently. It's a shame because the Mod by old house was perfect. Never had a problem. They'd ask if I pie was a well done enough. The amount of times I have ordered a pizza online from here and it's been just an unbearable amount of cheese with barely anything else is too many to recall - I once tried to remedy this by asking for light cheese and found it with two or three strands when I got home. There is no fixing that, or finding a middle ground with a "normal" amount of cheese. Finally today I got it home and it was so bad I just threw the whole thing in the bin. The employees are now super rude.The girl with blonde hair, I believe her name was Bryce but Im not sure was wearing gloves that were clearly ripped, sneezed into the food toppings, and didnt wash her hands. She was also not wearing her mask properly, as were two other employees. The GM didnt seem to care when I addressed my concerns. They gave me the wrong pizza twice. Not to mention how unsanitary this place has become. With Covid going on you'd think they'd take all the proper precautions, but this place is NOT SAFE. First time at MOD pizza and truthfully was avoiding a place like this because I thought it would just be more expensive than delivery pizza but was proven wrong (glad I was). The menu and ordering is simple and straightforward, really like how there are predesigned pizza pie options for you to choose from (favorites and seasonal) or build your own. From the topping choice, you can see really how fresh the ingredients are and love that they have healthy options such as salad and a pizza salad! Drink options galore with water cups available, but also various lemonades (definitely noted to try for next time) and beer options. Even shakes too! The place is clean, well organized, and ive found the staff to be relatively professional. You've got quite a few younger folks so sometimes when I come in it is a little rowdy or the staff might be talking about something not quite appropriate BUT nothing vulgar or the like. That being said, price is good for the food but the food leaves you feeling like it is lacking. It isn't bad persay it just isn't WOW. Almost everything tastes the same except the bbq chicken which just tastes like bland pizza with a sweet bbq poured all over it. I'm more the type of person who doesn't want to be paid attention to unless my drink or plate is empty but you get a warm welcoming greet when you enter and a thankful goodbye when you leave, which I don't necessarily like but I can definitely appreciate. There are tons of fantastic and delicious options to choose from for toppings. I absolutely LOVE the garlic rub and roasted garlic cloves. Delicious! The food is actually decent, but the service has been absolutely awful, multiple times. One instance, I went for a custom pizza with a specific list of toppings. I tried to get them to top it with what I wanted three times, and three different people could not follow a basic this-n-that instruction on what I wanted. They kept getting ahead of me and putting things on then trying to redo it until I had to just give up on them making me a pizza because my topping choices kept going right over their heads. It's finally come to The Last Straw now when I stopped in for a salad. I like to mix romaine with the other greens. The romaine was slightly witly but passable, but all their other greens selection was totally wilted and looking spoiled. I stated I had come in for a salad but the greens were looking spoiled, and was simply told, "Yeah. You want a pizza instead?" No, I just wanted a salad. Then it was just, "Yeah, sorry." Okay, do these people even have food handlers cards? Besides the lack of moral fiber that would prompt one to see about replacing greens out on the bar (which were agreed to be bad) so that they can offer a salad with fresh, edible ingredients, the risk of food borne illness from spoiled greens is a real and frightening fact that any food service employee should take measures to ensure doesn't happen to their patrons. Period. Those greens were not only unappetizing and not in edible condition to a sane person, they were a serious health risk to just be left out to serve in the next salad.
