I can't believe it's been the 2nd time ordering pizza for me here since I moved to this area 4 years ago. Last night I had a craving so I decided to give this place a try. My order was through the Slice app. I ordered half Hawaiian/Meat (pepperoni, salami, sausage mushrooms). The dough was thin crust New York style. The sides were curled up which I found unique but the dough didn't hit it for me. I found the meat side a little salty. Maybe it was the sausage or salami. I also noticed that the mushrooms disintegrated and were barely noticeable. Some cheese looked like it wasn't melted properly. What I did find however fascinating was the ranch dressing that I requested on the side. It's really delicious. Tastes like homemade. There's no option on the app to select these sides for purchase so I requested in the special requests box and they gave me two of them. I should have requested thick crust but the app does not have this selection as well. Maybe giving them a call could have fixed that. I would probably recommend stopping by and eating in person next time instead of using the convenience of delivery which I paid a small fee on top of the tip as well. read more

I took my 3 grandsons and their friend - 2 second graders and a fourth grader. We ordered a large 5 plex pizza. Five kinds of meat with cheese on top. They were a little concerned when it was delivered, they thought it was a cheese only pizza, until they discovered the hidden meats. We all loved it! So much so that there was only one and a half pieces to take home. I seriously thought we would more left over. Our waitress was very sweet and kept our water glasses full. I don't know why I drove right by Hall Street Pizza for many years before giving it a first try? Once I did....BAM! Service and food quality has always been excellent! I've ordered a few different sandwiches for lunches and many pizza for dinners. They've all been great! We love Hall Street! We've been 3 times now (twice in person and once to-go) and it feels like the food keeps getting better. Recently, we ordered the Hall Street Italian with onion rings to split and have tried slices of the PP&J (pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeños), Taste of Kauai, and pepperoni. The service is always great and the indoor eating space is clean and quaint. They also have the Stubborn craft sodas and a good beer and cider selection. Stopped by with my buddy for lunch. They have a weekday special where it's $11 for a salad, slice of garlic/cheese bread, a drink, and a heaping slice of pizza. Benefit of it is the cost AND you can put whatever you want on your slice of pizza! My buddy stacked his up. I decided to get the chicken parm and it was you can substitute fries in as your side which I definitely did. Still have to try an actual slice of pizza from this location myself. The dining room is rather small but there are a few TVs and a bar to order drinks from as well. Costs for the whole pizzas seemed a bit steep ($~20 for a small on average) but for a non-commercial pizza location maybe that's just what it costs. When we went there was only one guy manning the whole front so service might be a little slow but it's not hard to get their attention and ask for things if you need it, I just wouldn't come here trying to get a quick bite, this is a lot more for chilling or ordering food for takeout. Beer selection was a simple list but a good spread of things as well. I believe they also have a 21+ side room with gambling stuff. No regrets stopping by here! For quite a little place in a location that's not really around many other restaurants, Hall Street Pizza is extremely solid! Pizza is always one of those things you never know if you can trust on Yelp when it comes to top rated, but this lived up to expectations some. I ordered a build-your-own pizza with pepperoni and pineapple, a combo that I admit that I haven't had before. I usually go for Hawaiian, but the combo of the sweet pineapple and salty pepperoni is superb (as opposed to sweet and sweet). Here, the pepperoni isn't the shape that I absolutely adore (those being small cups with crispy edges), instead they're the typical flat pepperoni but with that crisp that I love on the pep-cups. There's not a whole ton of pineapple, but I think there was the perfect amount for them to bit overwhelm. The quality of the sauce, toppings, and cheese are all there, but I think the true winner of the pie is the crust. It holds firm, though sadly doesn't have the crisp that I like, but the "handle" of the crust is superb. It's practically a twisted breadstick that has a lot of flavor in its own right. What brings Hall Street Pizza down for me is the service, which simply put was not ideal. There seemed to be only two people working out in front, which is tough on a Saturday night. The place was decently packed and rowdy, and it almost seemed like some of the customers there must have known one of the two workers because they seemed very sociable with each other. I sadly had to wait a while to have someone come take my order, so I ended up going up to the front to get someone to take my order. When I finished ordering tland got the food, there wasn't really any "checking up" on or refilling water. But, with how good the pizza was and for how small and understaffed they were that night, I can't knock the place too much. It is so close to me, so next time I go here, I'll probably do take out instead of dining in! I very much recommend it. read more

We basically ordered almost everything she recommended, especially since she explained why each item was so good! Most items are either in-house created or locally sourced. Pizza is amazing! Service however is terrible since new ownership took over. We are regulars as this location is right by the high school and very convenient for before/after games. New ownership has terrible service. I had to ask if I could order, asked to pay and had to ask when food was coming. No one checked on our table But meanwhile, the two older ladies were having a lovely conversation while they were filling up to go cups with ranch. Many other families have expressed the same level of service since the new ownership took over. We will have to find a new place for game night dinners. read more

We have been here a few time. Small, friendly, family owned pizza places with a full bar. I didn't realize it, but they have Italian sodas on fountain! Several TV is playing sports, and video poker in a small area. The garlic cheese sticks were hit. We had the meatball pizza this time and I found it was flat even after adding some veggies. I really wanted to like this place because it is close to our house. Ordered the cheesy bread that came just as pictures but has an Alfredo like spread under the cheese that tasted like hot mayo. We both gaged and spit it out. I moved onto the Caesar salad which had fresh lettuce, minimal Parmesan and tons of croutons. The dressing was so sweet and tasted like they poured out of a jug. Gave them one more try with the pizza. Got a margarita and pepperoni. The sauce again is so sweet with no flavor and not a fan of the crust. The pepperoni looked like a cheese pizza with very few actual pepperoni and even less flavor. Very sad to have dropped over $100 and all of it went in the compost. read more

There are a few things I will travel for and one thing is a good pizza. Worth the 45-minute drive is this unassuming little gym hidden in a plaza. Everyone who works there is always welcoming, warm, helpful, and friendly. The salads and pizza pies are way of above par too, so that's a bonus, lol. We loved everything about our dinner here. The atmosphere of the restaurant was fun, the staff were kind and attentive, and the food was fantastic. We tried the garlic cheesy bread which was so cheesy and delish and served with a tasty dipping sauce. The classic combo pizza we chose had lots of awesome flavors going on with all the toppings, and the crust was beautifully soft and crisp at the same time. We were on a 9 day road trip through Oregon last week and stopped in craving some good pizza. We started with the Italian margarita which is delicious with a healthy pour of liquor. The service was great and the ambiance is small and cozy. The medium pizza is usually perfect for us after a long day of hiking but we couldn't finish our half combo, half garlic chicken. The toppings are almost too thick but def better than the skimpy toppings our hometown pizza place puts out. If we are ever back in that neck of the woods and are able to go back (which we would do if we could) we'd def order a small for the two of us to share. read more

I will never come to this restaurant ever again. They allow people to be crude around ladies and children. A drunk couple comes in obviously drunk and they are cussing and talking about b****es in front of everyone and the staff is laughing. They are obviously regulars because they know everyone. The manager stands there and does nothing. My next question is, if they are obviously drunk should you stil be serving them alcohol? I found the pizza to be incredible. The highlight being the perfectly cooked cheese on of all the toppings. Resulting in a perfectly caramelized layer of cheese on top a really hearty sauce. The texture isn perfect. The crust is dense and had a braided quality that I found to be perfect to against the rest of the slice. I'm kicking myself for not trying this place sooner. We had- one pizza with half cheese (always a good test for a place) and half veggie, and the other was half chicken, bacon, garlic, and half meat lovers. Oh. My. Gosh. The crust was tender, chewy, and tasty. The cloves of whole roasted garlic were Devine. They are generous on the other toppings, too. We basically purred the whole time! We chose to sit in their small outdoor seating area because the inside was loud and cramped due to a couple of big screen TVs and video lottery. The outdoor seating area was nice for what it was. They have a couple of barriers up to set it apart from the parking. The staff were friendly. No complaints when it came to service. We ordered a pie and garlic cheesy bread. The cheesy bread was delicious -- I recommend it if you visit. My friend and I didn't care for the pizza, however. The biggest complaint I have was that the sauce was too sweet, but beyond that, none of the rest of the pizza (crust, cheese, toppings) stood out. There just wasn't anything to commend. read more
