The soup-of-the-day was leftover from two days ago. The owner was planning to make some new today. They opened at 12:00 sharp, not a moment sooner. And began cleaning up from the night before. I hope you want a panini sandwich because, aside from soup-of-two-days-ago, that's what's on offer. So, that's what we had. And the panini sandwiches were fine. There was nothing wrong with them. But there was nothing especially right with them either, just ok. Bottom line: there's nothing special here. I recommend giving it a pass. read more

This local Taphouse in Tigard is located in a great spot right off Pacific Highway. There are plenty of stores/shops nearby in case you need some extra snacks after grabbing a drink here. There is plenty of indoor seating and even a little book nook with some couch seating and a fireplace. The bartender was friendly and easy to talk to and the drinks come quick. They even have events during the month of December intermittently including I've music and movie nights. Overall, I would recommend this spot if you're looking to catch up with some old friends or want a quiet spot to grab a drink solo. read more

Had pretzel with beer cheese and chicken quesadilla. Simple but tasted good. I'm not usually a fan of beer cheese but the pretzel was so good I loved it. The ordered cheese and chicken quesadilla ( only got cheese ) was well made and tasted good. Nice portion delivered to our table. Staff was helpful and friendly. We came to watch live acoustic music with Mike Angostini and loved it. will go back. I came to Hops on Tap to see a band perform. As a concert venue, Hops on Tap does a great job! The band sets up in a large area in one of the "main corners" of the venue, and all tables have a good view. The interior is also very brightly-lit, which is appreciated. There are shelves with lots of board and card games, and several patrons come regularly to enjoy music and play games. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and you may see a radio-controlled R2D2 make an appearance at the end of the night. Food is serviceable, but is nothing noteworthy. The soft pretzel is clearly a SuperPretzel, and a lot of what's on the menu, and things like napkins, etc. appear to come from Costco. Not that there's anything wrong with this, of course, and I'll probably opt for something different than a sandwich on my next visit (perhaps their "scratch-made" soup). I was very happy that Hops on Tap offers Kombucha on-tap as well. Parking is very simple as Hops on Tap is in a very large shopping center with its own equally large parking lot. If you want a good place to see live music, Hops on Tap fits the bill nicely! read more

This place is so cute. We stopped in after Bingo at Summerfield one evening. I didn't get anything to eat, but my mom and friends did. They have a lot on tap to choose from, as well as wines! My only negative was that it just had smell off greasy food inside. And that always turns me off. The staff was incredibly friendly, it's cozy and cute inside and you can play a game while you hangout and have fun. They've got SO many board games! If you're looking for a dog friendly place-- this is it! We were greeted to the patio with friendly faces and some good belly rubs and treats for our French Bulldog. Large side patio with the coldest (biggest) selection of local draft brews. Beautifully kept plants, board games and live music surround you inside. We absolutely LOVE this place! It's our go to place for good drinks and eats! They always have a good selection of taps and you can test them out before committing. I'm picky about beers/selterz and I always find one there that I enjoy! The atmosphere is always on point, the owners know exactly what they're doing and are extremely friendly and funny! On a recommendation from my daughter, we decided to stop in for a couple of pints and a non-alcoholic kombucha. Nice corner location in a Safeway shopping center. Very open and comfortable decor reminds me of a non-chain coffee shop. Has several big screen TV's on the wall showing local sports. Nice kids area set aside to keep the crumb crunchers distracted. An inviting bar area where the tap handles are located seats maybe 6? Not a drawback as they have an area for ordering/paying for purchases where you don't have to squeeze between the Pounders. A few nice couches, as well. Popcorn is available free from an old-school hardware store or small theater sized popper that also has some flavors you can sprinkle on your pops. Had a pint of a dark beer from Kings and Daughters that was perfect for mid-day pints (3.8% ABV) and tasted wonderful. The tap master was friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of Porters on tap, just couldn't enjoy with so much day left. Good overall selection of adult libations. I will be stopping in more often in the future. read more

Super nice place to sit, chill and have a conversation. The atmosphere is relaxing and modern with lots of lighting from the windows. The owner waited on us and was super helpful in selection picking. I tried a couple and settled on the, Hoppy Belgian Golden Ale which was refreshing and just what I wanted. With an alcohol content of 8.5% it's more of a sipper than a chugger, the perfect addition for just sitting and chatting with someone you haven't seen in a while. I'd love to try some of their kombuchas the next time I'm there. The menu is a bit hard to decipher but also pretty cool because once you figure it out, it gives you a ton of information. read more

I'm from Portland and barely go out to Tigard but it's nice how everyone's so nice. Beer selection is pretty extensive and the food is great. Overall host and welcoming could be a little brighter, not that you're not greeted, but there's a bit of a slow-ness or hesitation in the service and pouring of the taps. Owners are humble, nerdy, authentic. They have a few screens for some TV viewing. A little library where you can just take a book home, no obligation to return it or even donate one. They offer live music, too. Last time I was here there was a French guitarist setting up shop. Intriguing? Free Popcorn. Water Station. Board and card games. Plenty of Parking - it's in a big strip mall on Hwy 99. Safeway is the anchor store. Family friendly and nice restrooms. Logoed t-shirts for sale. Cool bar countertop. I came there for the first time to meet a friend who was moving away. Everything was fine until the female musician came in with her guitar and short dress. She started singing in her high voice and she was very loud. End of all conversation. Then the kids started pouring in and the noise got even worse.
