Comatose to go
Trina M.

Such a nice and quiet place to relax and have a beer! So glad they are open late because I needed a drink ! I actually stayed at a nearby hotel and so I had my drinks to go in a take home mason glass. They also have a growler but that was too much for me to handle. I love me an IPA so I ordered the Comatose, and it was so yummy! This spot is such a hidden gem !

Good place to grab a beer in Beaverton. They close fairly early - at 11pm but this was a friendly place to grab a drink. Nice selection and it's right next to the Hilton House where we were staying. Don't hesitate to check this place out!

We stopped here after visiting BG's Food Cartel and picking up some dishes from a couple different food trucks. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the outdoor spots were perfect for us since we had our friend's dogs with us. There's a good variety of beer and cider options on tap and the bartender was really friendly. There are also a bunch of board games which we took advantage of and enjoyed while sipping on a couple beers. They have a water station inside as well as a giant bowl for dogs to stay hydrated with. I loved that so many beers are local- since I'm from out of town I always try to drink local and when I asked about local beers the bartender seemed surprised that I thought there would be a bunch of non- local choices. I loved the abundance of options, though it made it hard to actually choose. We had a great time and the beers ended up costing $5 or $7 from my choices which is pretty reasonable for this Californian... I'm used to $8-9 so it was a win.

Such a great experience all around! Central Station Taps is a new neighborhood taproom located right next to the Beaverton Round. It's slightly hidden but less than a 5 minute walk from the BG food carts. Definitely worth the walk as they have a wonderful selection of drinks, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. After picking up our food from the nearby food carts, my group decided to head over to the Central Station Taps. Although we do enjoy the lively environment at BG Cartels, it can feel extremely overcrowded during peak times. The Central Station Taps has large picnic tables along the front of the place, each with their own hand sanitizer. They also provide free masks to any customer, encourage social distancing and every employee was wearing gloves. It was a sense of relief to see this amount of effort put in to withhold a safe and clean environment for everyone. I believe there's about 30 drinks on tap, varying from craft beer to wine to cider. It was refreshing to see that they had more than 3 ciders available compared to other taprooms that I've visited. I highly recommend the peach cider as it was perfect for a warm summer evening. You can also get a flight of 4 or 6 and even more if you're up for the challenge! They don't have a kitchen aka no food to purchase beyond your typical bar snacks. But they do encourage others to grab food from nearby food carts, restaurants and even UberEats. I admit that I am not a fan of beer, wine or even taprooms in general. I'm more of the cocktail girl and you'll never catch me sipping on beer. However there's something special about this place and I know I'll visit again soon. It's an awesome place to wind down from a busy week and enjoy the summer days with a good drink and food. Highly recommend for any taproom lovers in the local area to check out!

Pilsner and Xmas

Haven't been here in a bit. Have family coming over for Xmas so we figured we need a pre-fam break. Met the other owner and once again made us feel like regulars. As brewery lovers and drinking straight from the source, this is hands down the next best thing.

Great tap house in Central Beaverton

Super chill spot with 30 taps and incredibly friendly service. Very welcoming atmosphere and a perfect place to enjoy a pint.

Bar area

First timer in Beaverton here. Came to visit some friends on a week vacation and stopped in before dinner. Clean bar and nice and homey. First person we were greeted by was Nolan. Great service from him and was willing to answer any and all questions with ease. Even had a chance to meet the owner who was a sweet person. Wish we had her name to post on here. The beer selection was great and Nolan heavily engaged in conversation with all 3 of us. Thank you for a great experience. I will be coming back on my next trip.

Nice smallish taphouse with a decent selection. No food but BG's Food Cartel is a block away.

I've tried less of the food than the mocktails, but the Mac and cheese served fajita style on a hot plate was quite good. I also like the casual atmosphere and the willingness of the staff to go with the flow.

Because it's somewhat hidden in the corner of a Safeway shopping plaza. Look for the Baskin Robbins or Wells Fargo ATM and your find it. Like other reviews, when busy, parking can be a bit horrendous. But in hindsight, I'm not gonna reduce a star just because of location. * Bar Food Menu & Dining * Their menu starts with shareable bites, like a pretzel, tacos, quesadilla, loaded nachos, and even a charcuterie plate. Slightly larger dishes would be their Cubano and Brisket Press sandwiches. They even have a few choices for soup and salads, and a couple of dessert items listed. Don't forget to check the chalkboard next to the bar for specialty dishes and drinks. As for dining-in, they've got sturdy wooden tables that can accommodate 4-8 people. Bar stools by the windows, and a fairly large outside patio area. And with the times I've been here, I've never seen a dirty table. Very well maintained (two thumbs up). A few TV monitors showing the game, but its not like a noisy sportsbar. * Drinks & Services* You've got your choice of craft beers that rotate like a standard tap room. They also have tasty seasonal cocktails, but their normal everyday cocktails are just as good. And if you're gonna have a charcuterie board, then you've got to offer a wine list option right? Well they got that too! One last thing to mention, they've got some top-shelf bourbon and whiskey. The 649 is a bar that offers it all! Service has also been welcoming and top-notch. I recall only been served by Rich, Steven, and Crystal, but they always seem to craft up some lovely cocktails. Or deliver some clean tasting everyday type of bar food as well. * Last Call * Normally in my reviews, I'd list every item that I've tried, with price included. But The 649 is such a unique type of bar experience that I feel you should try for yourself; To me, their offerings are reasonably priced. Dining in is nothing fancy, but service is excellent. It's a great hangout for a business date, of even after a first date. I've got nothing but love for local support!

The dog was topped with their outstanding beer cheese and crispy bacon bits, all served on a pretzel bun that is made in-house; truly, what more do you need? The beer cheese is the absolute star here; in fact, I'm convinced anything on the menu that lists it is really just a beer cheese delivery mechanism! This is a great location in downtown Beaverton with a very friendly staff. The service model is straightforward; you order at the bar and the food is brought out to your table, and then you bus your own dishes afterward. They also have a great selection of craft beer on tap to pair with your meal. We really enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and will definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

Well, it happens to be Portland Mercury's Weiner Week and Lazy Days has a tasty hot dog special. It's quite busy for a Sunday evening and I'm so happy this business is thriving. The beer cheese here is amazing and we both recommend the beer cheese nachos or the pretzel with beer cheese. At this point it's all about the beer cheese delivery system! I love that there is now some outside seating when the weather is a little better. Cheers!!

The service stood out just as much and was kind, polite, attentive, and lightning fast. Laura Y. made our experience memorable with her professionalism and genuinely positive, spot on attitude. The space has a classy feel with brick walls and dim lighting (which sometimes made it hard to see the details of your dish). There's also a separate hall with three pool tables if you're looking for a more private setting. The food menu is short and well made, featuring a range "we liked" dishes like the Wagyu burger, the Farmboy salad, and Rick Reuben sandwich, where each was sliced and shared. As for the drinks, the menu is the kind you actually sit and explore for a while, so you better know what you want. Overall it's a great spot to enjoy quality food, awesome drinks from all over the world (Czech beers, 40 year old Spanish Porto), and a fun, relaxed time with your friends.

For the past few months or possibly more, there is a server/closing-manager (male Caucasian, glasses, ponytail) who only reluctantly provides the HH menu. About two months ago, I asked when HH started, and he said in 7 minutes (i.e., it was 9:53pm). I asked how much I'd save on the beer I was contemplating if I waited for 7 minutes, and he said a dollar or two, so I told him I'd wait until then to place my order. It seemed like a pretty light day, yet he took a full 20+ minutes to come take our order -- it felt like he was punishing me. Last night, it was 10:10pm and I asked if there was a HH menu. He said "not yet." I thought he meant that they hadn't yet been published, but when I went to the bar to say hi to someone I know, I saw a HH menu already on the bar. I'd already ordered off the regular menu, and chose to not change to something on the HH hour just to avoid the conflict. I have no idea what is inspiring this behavior. Perhaps people who order off HH menus don't tip well? In any case, this new HH attitude has definitely dampened my enthusiasm for Fireside. Which is sad since it still has a great tap list and menu.
