if you appreciate mom and pop or local places, this is really it. they have a high sense of integrity with they do and what the provide to their customers - which in my experience, has never failed. being located so close to the bg food cartel, and allowing outside food makes this place a gem. if you head to the restrooms, there are pictures that show the development of this taphouse along their walk and it is very endearing. i find this to be a great study space, when i plan to stick around for a bit. they are always super accommodating to guests, and go the extra mile to provide fun activities for all age groups to do as they enjoy the space. i would highly recommend this on a nice day. its best to explore the food carts and bring something back to the taphouse -- they have napkins and water provided, amongst other snacks to chomp on. read more

We went to a special Beaverton Pride/Chamber event, and what a fun night it was! The hosts were so generous -- they provided huge pumpkins, carving tools, and paint so everyone could create their own artsy pumpkin. It was such a great community event! We grabbed dinner from the nearby food truck pods and enjoyed beer from the venue since they don't serve food onsite. I later discovered that there are QR codes on the tables for a nearby pizza place that delivers -- a great option for next time! We heard they'll be hosting some festive holiday events soon, and after how much fun we had at this one, we'll definitely be keeping an eye out for those! read more

We stopped here after visiting BG's Food Cartel and picking up some dishes from a couple different food trucks. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the outdoor spots were perfect for us since we had our friend's dogs with us. There's a good variety of beer and cider options on tap and the bartender was really friendly. There are also a bunch of board games which we took advantage of and enjoyed while sipping on a couple beers. They have a water station inside as well as a giant bowl for dogs to stay hydrated with. I loved that so many beers are local- since I'm from out of town I always try to drink local and when I asked about local beers the bartender seemed surprised that I thought there would be a bunch of non- local choices. I loved the abundance of options, though it made it hard to actually choose. We had a great time and the beers ended up costing $5 or $7 from my choices which is pretty reasonable for this Californian... I'm used to $8-9 so it was a win. read more

I've been on a mission to check out the latest GenZ fad, tap houses. As a life-long motorcycle Biker I am quite fond of dive bars and the folks who hang out in them. Mostly a Colorado Koolaid drinker. Give me a cold beer and a really good burger and I am a happy guy. I generally keep to myself but now and then I'll get to chat with an interesting Biker, Veteran and/or blue collar worker at those sorts of places. They have been my home away from home so to speak although I had to knock alcohol off the menu for quite a few years due to health reasons. With the sand running out of the hourglass for me it's become more important to me than ever to enjoy my few remaining days above ground than it is to squeeze out the last few seconds of life by eating right and alcohol abstinence. So most of the tap houses I've visited locally are gentrified to the extreme and this place is no different. I'm old enough to put a bib on my shoulder and burp most of these children but no minus stars for that. I'm invading their turf so they get to call the plays. This tap house is a block from the Round MAX stop and a block from the food court. There's lots of places in this area to enjoy a pint and I want to experience all of them at least once so that I'll have something to talk about when I cross over. I am hardly a connoisseur of brews and the stuff I like is probably viewed as swill by the children who patronize these places. But when I traveled overseas in the Military and on business they never even heard of Coors so I have enjoyed some very fine beer in various pubs all over the globe sampling the local favorites. And so it is at tap houses. I never heard of most of this stuff so I ask the person at the counter what they recommend ( that doesn't taste like a fruit salad). I am generally offered something that's pretty decent and that was my experience here as well. Decent prices. Lots of seating including outdoor seating weather permitting. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Seems like half the women there have a dog with them. I guess no one dates actual humans anymore. Our brave new world.... This place will likely never be my fave hangout for a variety of reasons, but mostly because there's no food to be found here. But it's certainly a worthy stop on my Hall Blvd bar crawl adventures. As west side tap houses go, this one is several notches better than most I've visited so far. read more

Such a great experience all around! Central Station Taps is a new neighborhood taproom located right next to the Beaverton Round. It's slightly hidden but less than a 5 minute walk from the BG food carts. Definitely worth the walk as they have a wonderful selection of drinks, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. After picking up our food from the nearby food carts, my group decided to head over to the Central Station Taps. Although we do enjoy the lively environment at BG Cartels, it can feel extremely overcrowded during peak times. The Central Station Taps has large picnic tables along the front of the place, each with their own hand sanitizer. They also provide free masks to any customer, encourage social distancing and every employee was wearing gloves. It was a sense of relief to see this amount of effort put in to withhold a safe and clean environment for everyone. I believe there's about 30 drinks on tap, varying from craft beer to wine to cider. It was refreshing to see that they had more than 3 ciders available compared to other taprooms that I've visited. I highly recommend the peach cider as it was perfect for a warm summer evening. You can also get a flight of 4 or 6 and even more if you're up for the challenge! They don't have a kitchen aka no food to purchase beyond your typical bar snacks. But they do encourage others to grab food from nearby food carts, restaurants and even UberEats. I admit that I am not a fan of beer, wine or even taprooms in general. I'm more of the cocktail girl and you'll never catch me sipping on beer. However there's something special about this place and I know I'll visit again soon. It's an awesome place to wind down from a busy week and enjoy the summer days with a good drink and food. Highly recommend for any taproom lovers in the local area to check out! read more

Place is great :) chill vibes, friendly owner, no food but that's ok cause you can bring your own! They've got a good selection of beers and some wines, they have specials on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so check em out :) The place is dog friendly and kid friendly too (they have chalk out on the outside tables (summertime) so your little ones can draw while you enjoy a pint :) Right next to the max station so no need to worry about driving. And about the no food thing just a 3 minute walk up the street there's a food truck park so get food there and go have a proper pint here :) :) read more

Wonderful owners, extremely pleasant and easy to talk to, even as an introvert. The tap selection is nicely diversified. Sure, there's the typical dozen IPAs, but there's a couple red ales, a cream ale, even an ESB! The interior is clean, modern, well-lit, and the TVs are loud enough to hear but quiet enough to talk to your party without yelling. A pint is reasonably priced, and a growler even moreso.
