We sat outside around 4 PM on a Monday, it was a beautiful area on their patio with lots of seating. We ordered a basket of tater tots from the happy hour menu, it was a large serving and just perfect. Great service, will be back!

Nice ambiance. Good rotating menu, often changing. Good service. Nice and unique decor. Good selection of libations. Definitely recommend for small family, couples or business meals. Parking lot is too dark for the feeling of security and safety.

Loved the happy hour ahi tuna sliders! Friendly service. Cozy atmosphere. Great place to hang out.

I did not order a rare burger. I ordered a well done burger.

Im DONE ordering food from here! Every single time I order food from here my burger is RARE and my tots don't have Cajun seasoning and there overcooked... i pacifically order my burger WELL DONE and my tots with Cajun seasoning. This has happened to me multiple times ordering from this location. Do better.. You are taking hard peoples earning money and not giving them the quality what they are paying for.

Came over to passport book stamping. At the same time take pictures of the interior. A lot of nice artwork. There seems to be a fireplace in the back of the restaurant right by patio area. You walked into the bar area and there are plenty of seating and parking. This Mcmenamins is at its own location. Not in a strip mall. In a corporate area. Reminds me of downtown Beaverton area.

Kim and I love John Barleycorn of McMenamins property... Barleycorn, which refers to the barley used in malt liquor, is a term that brings joy and excitement. At John Barleycorns, you'll discover an inviting space filled with warmth and comfort, complete with dark wood accents and adorned by a striking cathedral ceiling. Outside, lush greenery surrounds the terrace area, creating a serene ambiance perfect for sipping McMenamins-strength ales or spirits. Deanna at the bar is awesome...

Ordered it medium. Not well done but congratulations.

I LOVE McMenamins and their food. I wanted a good burger and knew this was the spot, but it was my first time trying this McMenamins. Everybody was so friendly when I called in to order take out and when I walked out the door. I ordered my burger medium. I get home and my burger was way over well done to the point where I couldn't finish it. I have never had a burger SO overcooked, it's disappointing. I also asked for Cajun tots, they charge extra for Cajun tots and they gave me regular ones. Overall, I'm disappointed with their food!

The place had some good unique look and vibe. It's looked very relaxed, chilled, some folks appeared to be co-workers. The brewery is aviation themed and the decor matches up with that quite well which gives the place a unique atmosphere. We had to different beers from this brewery. Both were solid and enjoyable. The first beer I had was a Mexican Lager. One of my favorite kinds of lagers. The name of this one was Midnight Mariachi. The flavors you will pick up with this beer are a malty and biscuity flavor. I might add this is a dark Mexican Lager as there are light ones as well. The other beer we had was an IPA. This one was called Island Jumper. Flavor features to enjoy with this one are citrus, tropical, some sweetness as well as bitterness and hoppiness. A very good IPA! Good stop for sure and fun brewery to go to if you are in the Tigard area.

Because it's somewhat hidden in the corner of a Safeway shopping plaza. Look for the Baskin Robbins or Wells Fargo ATM and your find it. Like other reviews, when busy, parking can be a bit horrendous. But in hindsight, I'm not gonna reduce a star just because of location. * Bar Food Menu & Dining * Their menu starts with shareable bites, like a pretzel, tacos, quesadilla, loaded nachos, and even a charcuterie plate. Slightly larger dishes would be their Cubano and Brisket Press sandwiches. They even have a few choices for soup and salads, and a couple of dessert items listed. Don't forget to check the chalkboard next to the bar for specialty dishes and drinks. As for dining-in, they've got sturdy wooden tables that can accommodate 4-8 people. Bar stools by the windows, and a fairly large outside patio area. And with the times I've been here, I've never seen a dirty table. Very well maintained (two thumbs up). A few TV monitors showing the game, but its not like a noisy sportsbar. * Drinks & Services* You've got your choice of craft beers that rotate like a standard tap room. They also have tasty seasonal cocktails, but their normal everyday cocktails are just as good. And if you're gonna have a charcuterie board, then you've got to offer a wine list option right? Well they got that too! One last thing to mention, they've got some top-shelf bourbon and whiskey. The 649 is a bar that offers it all! Service has also been welcoming and top-notch. I recall only been served by Rich, Steven, and Crystal, but they always seem to craft up some lovely cocktails. Or deliver some clean tasting everyday type of bar food as well. * Last Call * Normally in my reviews, I'd list every item that I've tried, with price included. But The 649 is such a unique type of bar experience that I feel you should try for yourself; To me, their offerings are reasonably priced. Dining in is nothing fancy, but service is excellent. It's a great hangout for a business date, of even after a first date. I've got nothing but love for local support!

About two months ago, I asked when HH started, and he said in 7 minutes (i.e., it was 9:53pm). I asked how much I'd save on the beer I was contemplating if I waited for 7 minutes, and he said a dollar or two, so I told him I'd wait until then to place my order. It seemed like a pretty light day, yet he took a full 20+ minutes to come take our order -- it felt like he was punishing me. Last night, it was 10:10pm and I asked if there was a HH menu. He said "not yet." I thought he meant that they hadn't yet been published, but when I went to the bar to say hi to someone I know, I saw a HH menu already on the bar. I'd already ordered off the regular menu, and chose to not change to something on the HH hour just to avoid the conflict. I have no idea what is inspiring this behavior. Perhaps people who order off HH menus don't tip well? In any case, this new HH attitude has definitely dampened my enthusiasm for Fireside. Which is sad since it still has a great tap list and menu.
