We came here looking for something fun to do and decided to check out their Friday night Music Bingo which is free. For anyone unfamiliar, Music Bingo is just like regular bingo, but with songs instead of numbers -- and they even offer small cash prizes, which is a nice bonus. Before coming in, we called and were advised to arrive quite early because it would get very busy later and seating could be difficult. They also recommended a certain arrival time since they weren't entirely sure when Music Bingo would actually start. That part ended up being a little confusing. While waiting, we were still within happy hour and wanted some NA beer and snacks. The menu didn't list any non-alcoholic beers, but our server was very helpful and let us know they had 3-4 NA options. He even brought the cans out to show us, which I really appreciated. It would be even better if these were listed on the menu. Our server did a great job checking in on us, and we passed the time playing some of the board games they have available at the bar. Nothing fancy, but a solid selection of classic games -- I love that they offer this as an option. Unfortunately, Music Bingo didn't start until almost two hours later, and by that point we were ready to head out. We didn't get to play this time, but at least now we have a better idea of when to arrive next time. Overall, a fun place with good vibes, attentive service, and some great ideas -- just needs better timing and communication around events. read more

I think Gators is kind of a hidden gem! They have under gone new management and they are adding new stuff like a pool table. Inside is full of seating and lots of string lights plus your normal bar decor. Very clean. The staff is all friendly! We ordered the Caprese salad which was bigger than your average. We also ordered the tequila shrimp pasta and the brussel sprouts. Everything was tasty and the portions are so big we were able to share it all between just two of us. I definitely want to try the pizzas here! I can't wait to have a beer on the back patio this summer! Try it out. read more

I was craving a salad and they delivered next level! Seriously, it is amazing how hard it is to get a decent salad! I got their spinach salad without blue cheese {sorry friends but it is on my short nope list} but I added chicken. Their champagne vinaigrette I will say seemed more like a balsamic versus champagne. There was such a great amount of tomato, carrots and avocado too. It was delicious and I look forward to trying more of their food. read more

I have been going here for years and over the years they have tried to continue to upgrade the inside which is nice. Pool table needles in middle of main floor, then a step up to a bar area with some bar seating. You can also sit outside if you want. Beers reasonable priced, food better than average. Service is mostly good, a bit slow if you are sitting down at a table. Lastly they have great classic breakfasts all day. read more

This used to be a cool spot to get good food and cheap drinks. The staff was the best! Unfortunately new ownership took over a few months ago and it went downhill very quick. It's summer time and they don't even turn on the AC and the ice melts extremely quick in your drink. Majority of the original bartenders quit because ownership was very mean is what I was told. I'm giving this place 5 stars for the category of dive bar. What more could you want from a dive bar! They have cheap drinks that are strong. They have good food from what I've had so far. Pita hummus appetizer is unexpectedly awesome! The layout for the seating is perfect. You can hide out in a booth or you can be in the middle of everything or you can be at the bar and meet people. They also have long hours that start early. I always think it's going to be a rough crowd in there but I've yet to see anything crazy in there. I also don't go at night.. so there's that. lol read more

When management changes in a business it can be a good thing or a not so good thing. Unfortunately this will be my last visit. Not being able to get happy hours menu items to go and upcharged with out notice for a substitution is bad customer service. I don't blame the waitress for the issues the management has created. First time at Gators. Interesting space and not what I expected. Small bar area for 21 and over and larger space with pool table and seating for mixed ages. Family and I walked into trivia night, which seemed lively and fun. Sat at the bar area, which is a bit tight and cozy. Food and drink was enjoyed by my hubby and daughter - my meal wasn't as good and our server didn't charge us for it. Though, it was cold and rainy outside, I sat outside for a bit to take a phone call. The outdoor area was a bit busy with smokers. The outdoor area is spacious and probably is great during the warmer times of the year. May try again in the summer. read more

Went here for inch while waiting on Discount Tire. The tap beer was one of the coldest I've ever had, which was great. I decided to get the pretzel and sausage fondue. The menu said "double smoked sausage and house-made beer cheese. The cheese was broken and looked unappetizing and had no flavor. The sausage was so spicy, I tried one piece and could not eat any more. The texture of the pretzel was nice, but once again, not much flavor. Will definitely play it safe next time and go to Banning's, where I know I won't be disappointed. read more

I came here for a quick lunch gathering and was surprised at how quick and the friendly the service was. Our server made sure that we all got our beverages quickly. The food also came out pretty quick, which was another plus. The Reuben Sandwich was a good portion and the tots were good. Disappointing. Ordered thru Doordash. I called before ordering because I'd been craving biscuits with sausage gravy for a couple of weeks and wanted to make sure there were chunks of sausage in the gravy. They said yes. Went to order online and the price was just over $12 - that's fine. I just wanted the biscuits and gravy. But when you order you are REQUIRED to add eggs for 2.89 and hash browns or breakfast potatoes for an additional 3.49, bringing the total to over $19. I'd had a hard time finding a place with sausage gravy so I went with it. The gravy only had a few bits of sausage and none were larger than about 1/4 or 1/2 inch. Hash browns were dry. And I was happy the menu had what was described as fresh squeezed pineapple juice, but I got a warm bottle of juice from concentrate. They have a lot of great reviews, but my experience was below par. read more

Gators is such a solid neighborhood joint. They have a friendly staff, a good selection of beer and tasty (yet still affordable) food. It's a fun place to go on Thursdays for trivia or for breakfast with the kids on the weekends. I highly recommend the burgers and huevos rancheros! read more

Consistent service and staff is always friendly. It's also nice when you can go in and continue to see the same people working years later. Happy hour is always good especially for the prices. We stopped for a meal after spending the morning at a playground with our two grandkids- 4 and 2. We were able able to get seated outside with a view of the highway below. Little guy loved watching all the "big trucks" going past. There was a high chair for him. Our waitress was wonderful with the kids (and us). We ordered off kids menu for them - pancakes & bacon for one and pancakes & sausage for the other and apple juice. Instead of clam chowder I ordered, I received mushroom chowder. Very disappointing not to have any clams or even any detectable potato's! The pieces of fish were so heavily coated in thick batter it was hard to really taste the fish. With the onion rings the batter fell off as I ate them so that wasn't as much of a problem. Sure would have liked some cocktail sauce and more of the tarter that was included. Now I'm still craving clam chowder & Fish & chips even though I've just had an unsatisfying version. read more

We were not able to eat here so this review is for the business and not the food. We came in on Friday night at 6:40pm with 2 adults and 1 child. Despite what the website or the front door says, THIS IS NOT A KID FRIENDLY BUSINESS. We were told when we entered that we would be "kicked out" in 20 minutes because karaoke started at 7 and it became "more of a bar than a restaurant". Don't promote your bar as a kid-friendly restaurant if you don't intend to follow through on that. You should change your website to indicate that no kids are welcome after 7pm instead of 9. When you ask for a rare burger they serve it that way. I cannot understand why every restaurant cant do this, but Gators does it right. I am impressed. Good (But not the best) pub food. Excellent parking. Quick service. We watch sports with our 5 kids (10-25 years old) and 3 of their significant others there. The youngest really likes it here and never once did i feel like I was in a bar with a kid. There's pool tables, a fire place, sun porch and video poker. Our party of 12 ate appetizers, had 2 pitchers of beer (about a mug each for adults) wine for 2 and 6 entrees. Our tab was $110 with a tip. For 12 people!!! read more

I'm surprised that more reviews have not been written for this place. This place is more of a bar then an eatery. There are two pool tables if you enjoy that. They also have a juke box with an extensive selection. PBR here is always $1.50 (how can you resist?) Sunday is movie night. Thursday is Karaoke night *get this - 9:30-midnight $1.50 PINTS of MICROBREWS - and they have quite a few**! They also have Rockband night on Wednesday. I have driven by this place for years and have frequented the other restaurant that shares the parking lot. Since this is predominately a bar I have always just passed on trying it. Well that has changed and I am a fan of this place. I would say that it is a typical bar that has food. but the stuff they serve is pretty damn good. I have had a few different varieties of the burgers and they have always been pretty tasty with a good size portion of fries. Here is a hint.... Thursdays are $5 burgers... and if you go during happy hour you are getting a pint of beer for $2.50. So with a burger and 2 beers will only set you back $10 bucks that is all right in my book. I have read some of the bad reviews and I haven't had any of those experiences but I always try to strike up a conversation and make our waitstaff know I appreciate them.
