This sports bar has been here forever, I've gone for years and I hope it's here for a long long time. If I'm shopping at Washington Square Mall I would much rather come here for food and drinks than that overpriced cheesecake factory. It's just a couple blocks away from the mall and so convenient. Look at my picture of a burger and fries and a Jamison and Coke, all for just $16. In 2026 that is a crazy good value. They also have great karaoke and game events. They're in a funny little strip mall, you drive around the back to get to it so it's not very intuitive for where they're located, you kind of just have to know it's here. Great staff, very friendly, very fun. Great crowd. I love you sports page!!!

Love this hole in the wall dive bar. Friendly staff and decent food. A lot of the typical locals you would expect to find in a dive bar.

Outside seating can be had, though with cast iron frame furniture. Nothing comfy. The regulars don't come here for plush seating or rich atmosphere. We come to enjoy the food and the staff. The soups are delightful and fresh. I especially love the Chipotle tomato and spicy corn chowder! This is tavern food with a gourmet twist! The burgers are flavorful, robust, and bursting with umami. The buns are fresh and ever so slightly sweet. Wonderful. The steak salad is an amazing lighter meal, seeded with slow roasted garlic and a gorganzola cream dressing. I once had the new York strip. It was properly cooked to request and is served with potatos fried in duck fat. For the $40 entry fee, I was sorely impressed. The waiting staff are all seasoned bartenders and servers with interesting backgrounds, cheerful demeanor, and an obvious love of engaging with the public. Everytime I visit, I leave pleased with my decision to return.

I also was able to get one of my favorite sour beers on tap. The service was great! They were prompt in welcoming us as we walked in and served us up a drink and appetizer pretty quick. I look forward to revisiting in a few days with my young adult daughter to show her how great the happy hour is and the beer selection. Nice neighborhood brewery you must check out.

What a great change, it use to have a simi pushing owners that had brought in many coolers to push sales of their brew, we stopped coming by. We are so happy with the new ownership and casual feel they have brought to the neighborhood. My friend was celebrating his 80 some birthday and he loves micro-brews, we tried three pints, a hazy, a brown and a stout, they were all excellent. We liked them so much we took three cans home!! The food options were a nice surprise. We had the chicken Tinga nachos, they have a variety of other protein options, we split some happy hour nachos with chicken , they were loaded with cheese, jalapeños, onions and tomatoes. Well worth it, we also split the chips and salsa, a little plain but they matched well with the brew. The staff is super friendly and engaged as we sampled multiple beers, we really enjoyed the laid back feel and vibe, I cannot wait to visit again with more friends! Hope they get Sunday Ticket , it would be a great addition to the laid back feel that a sports bar lacks.

We decided to have our meals outside on this beautiful Sunday afternoon and to also enjoy the view of the pond. Will was our server and was friendly and attentive. He gave some good recommendations for burgers and I went with the one with Brie cheese which was good. My daughter had the blackened mahi mahi tacos which were delicious as well. Oh I forgot we also grabbed bruschetta (choose any 3) and the ones we chose were salami, salmon and the shrimp. It was the perfect afternoon to come here. We saw the group of geese cross the street two times and it was a peaceful and positive vibes day. Great place to spend a Sunday mid-afternoon with my daughter. Will also mentioned that this year is their 5th Anniversary and also mentioned that Mondays from 6-8p, they have trivia nights and not to forget their Happy Hours from 2-5p on the weekdays.

The other thing that bugged me was the wine pore was pretty pathetic I mean maybe 4 to 5 oz. For $14 a glass ouch. Won't go back.

The people working there were super nice, kind, and efficient. They were cooked well and not too salty so I could happily dip it in my spicy mayo sauce. The fries were also delicious. Loved the cute little swirl but the texture was also good. I didn't get any alcoholic beverages but I was able to make my own drink with diet pepsi and a drink that was like sprite- it was good. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had such a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we walked in. But as a true chicken wing type of gal, I have to say -- those wings were top tier! The seasoning and sauce were flavorful, perfectly balanced, and definitely hit the spot. [Format & Space] Seat yourself*, review the menus at the table, order at the bar, they bring your food and drinks to your table. *Plenty of tables, some with long benches, others with chairs on the inside. There's also a large patio. This is a welcome and safe space. [Drinks] Right up front, I'm going to tell you I'm a lightweight. I'm allergic to alcohol, so I don't drink often. Here's one of the things I love about The 649. They have a fantastic selection of mocktails that are created with the same creativity, flair, and intention as a "leaded" cocktail. I appreciate that I get to participate and not be stuck with a lemonade, zero alcohol beer, or wine. So, HUZZAH for creating an inviting space for a non-drinker! There *are* times when I'm willing to risk the lobster-bod, itchiness, and stuffy nose and there are plenty of cocktails from which to choose! [Food] There's a nice selection of sharable plates and mains. I've personally tried the flatbread pizza, Bavarian pretzel, Cubano, and Brisket Press, all of which were delish. [Service] The service has always been fabulous. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. [Activities] There are a few TVs around the bar with sports. It was a great place to catch some of the World Cup games. Additionally, there are several games that you can borrow and play, which is a lot of fun.
