Caprese salad, tequila pasta shrimp, brussel sprouts
Olivia A.

I think Gators is kind of a hidden gem! They have under gone new management and they are adding new stuff like a pool table. Inside is full of seating and lots of string lights plus your normal bar decor. Very clean. The staff is all friendly! We ordered the Caprese salad which was bigger than your average. We also ordered the tequila shrimp pasta and the brussel sprouts. Everything was tasty and the portions are so big we were able to share it all between just two of us. I definitely want to try the pizzas here! I can't wait to have a beer on the back patio this summer! Try it out.

I was craving a salad and they delivered next level! Seriously, it is amazing how hard it is to get a decent salad! I got their spinach salad without blue cheese {sorry friends but it is on my short nope list} but I added chicken. Their champagne vinaigrette I will say seemed more like a balsamic versus champagne. There was such a great amount of tomato, carrots and avocado too. It was delicious and I look forward to trying more of their food.

Late dinner with the family.

First time at Gators. Interesting space and not what I expected. Small bar area for 21 and over and larger space with pool table and seating for mixed ages. Family and I walked into trivia night, which seemed lively and fun. Sat at the bar area, which is a bit tight and cozy. Food and drink was enjoyed by my hubby and daughter - my meal wasn't as good and our server didn't charge us for it. Though, it was cold and rainy outside, I sat outside for a bit to take a phone call. The outdoor area was a bit busy with smokers. The outdoor area is spacious and probably is great during the warmer times of the year. May try again in the summer.

Pretzel and sausage fondue

Went here for inch while waiting on Discount Tire. The tap beer was one of the coldest I've ever had, which was great. I decided to get the pretzel and sausage fondue. The menu said "double smoked sausage and house-made beer cheese. The cheese was broken and looked unappetizing and had no flavor. The sausage was so spicy, I tried one piece and could not eat any more. The texture of the pretzel was nice, but once again, not much flavor. Will definitely play it safe next time and go to Banning's, where I know I won't be disappointed.

I came here for a quick lunch gathering and was surprised at how quick and the friendly the service was. Our server made sure that we all got our beverages quickly. The food also came out pretty quick, which was another plus. The Reuben Sandwich was a good portion and the tots were good. They actually have a wide selection of food items that I think I'll try next time.

Kids pancake breakfast. Our grandson moved the sausage so it would look like hair! They both loved the chocolate chip mound for eyes.

Much better places to spend your money. You will have to chase down service, and the management is not a friend of the guest

Unfortunately my friend had to abruptly leave and we waited a few minutes to try to get the check but despite it being really really dead the server took FOREVER to get there!! That was why my score went down. The beers were great and the food was too. But the service wasn't. It was okay at best. Pretty disappointed. Because it's a super cute spot. I'd definitely go back.

A fun name and it tells you what music and songs the brewmaster feels inspired by. Flavors to find in this beer are kind of a light buttery flavor (diacetyl), a natural sweetness, maltiness along with a clean finish. The place had some good unique look and vibe. It's looked very relaxed, chilled, some folks appeared to be co-workers. It wasn't quite a sports bar theme but I liked the different figures representing the Air-force theme, little planes hung around, some picture frames, flags, signage etc. There were also figurines of Snoop Dogg. There are plenty of beer options, the caprice salad was amazing and garlic fries were divine and bucketful. The waiters were nice and friendly.

The brewery is aviation themed and the decor matches up with that quite well which gives the place a unique atmosphere. We had to different beers from this brewery. Both were solid and enjoyable. The first beer I had was a Mexican Lager. One of my favorite kinds of lagers. The name of this one was Midnight Mariachi. The flavors you will pick up with this beer are a malty and biscuity flavor. I might add this is a dark Mexican Lager as there are light ones as well. The other beer we had was an IPA. This one was called Island Jumper. Flavor features to enjoy with this one are citrus, tropical, some sweetness as well as bitterness and hoppiness. A very good IPA! Good stop for sure and fun brewery to go to if you are in the Tigard area.

Because it's somewhat hidden in the corner of a Safeway shopping plaza. Look for the Baskin Robbins or Wells Fargo ATM and your find it. Like other reviews, when busy, parking can be a bit horrendous. But in hindsight, I'm not gonna reduce a star just because of location. * Bar Food Menu & Dining * Their menu starts with shareable bites, like a pretzel, tacos, quesadilla, loaded nachos, and even a charcuterie plate. Slightly larger dishes would be their Cubano and Brisket Press sandwiches. They even have a few choices for soup and salads, and a couple of dessert items listed. Don't forget to check the chalkboard next to the bar for specialty dishes and drinks. As for dining-in, they've got sturdy wooden tables that can accommodate 4-8 people. Bar stools by the windows, and a fairly large outside patio area. And with the times I've been here, I've never seen a dirty table. Very well maintained (two thumbs up). A few TV monitors showing the game, but its not like a noisy sportsbar. * Drinks & Services* You've got your choice of craft beers that rotate like a standard tap room. They also have tasty seasonal cocktails, but their normal everyday cocktails are just as good. And if you're gonna have a charcuterie board, then you've got to offer a wine list option right? Well they got that too! One last thing to mention, they've got some top-shelf bourbon and whiskey. The 649 is a bar that offers it all! Service has also been welcoming and top-notch. I recall only been served by Rich, Steven, and Crystal, but they always seem to craft up some lovely cocktails. Or deliver some clean tasting everyday type of bar food as well. * Last Call * Normally in my reviews, I'd list every item that I've tried, with price included. But The 649 is such a unique type of bar experience that I feel you should try for yourself; To me, their offerings are reasonably priced. Dining in is nothing fancy, but service is excellent. It's a great hangout for a business date, of even after a first date. I've got nothing but love for local support!

For the past few months or possibly more, there is a server/closing-manager (male Caucasian, glasses, ponytail) who only reluctantly provides the HH menu. About two months ago, I asked when HH started, and he said in 7 minutes (i.e., it was 9:53pm). I asked how much I'd save on the beer I was contemplating if I waited for 7 minutes, and he said a dollar or two, so I told him I'd wait until then to place my order. It seemed like a pretty light day, yet he took a full 20+ minutes to come take our order -- it felt like he was punishing me. Last night, it was 10:10pm and I asked if there was a HH menu. He said "not yet." I thought he meant that they hadn't yet been published, but when I went to the bar to say hi to someone I know, I saw a HH menu already on the bar. I'd already ordered off the regular menu, and chose to not change to something on the HH hour just to avoid the conflict. I have no idea what is inspiring this behavior. Perhaps people who order off HH menus don't tip well? In any case, this new HH attitude has definitely dampened my enthusiasm for Fireside. Which is sad since it still has a great tap list and menu.
