The drive thru service is getting more accurate over the last few months, for sure. We always order 1 potato plain & 1 potato with gravy for the last few years & rarely would get both correctly. This week, it was right! Now portion of meat are literally half the size it used to be 6 months ago. 2 leg used to be enough for a serving, now 4 legs are needed. Stopped today at 10:30 a.m. to get chicken tenders for lunch . I was appalled at what I got , they were as thin as a pencil and tasted like rubber . I am an older senior and have been to KFC for at least 50 years . I cannot believe that they have gone down in quality so bad. I stop every once in awhile and get a bucket of chicken and the flavor is not there anymore and crispy is not really crispy . But I'm sure I'm not telling all you something you already don't know . Beware of the Sherwood KFC, Do not recommend it! Experiencing retaliatory behavior from staff. TLDR: I had two terrible experiences back to back. Unable to finish meals. Food intentionally tampered with. Corporate sends the complaints to the store and then the store prints out the full complaint, name, and everything and posts it for all to see and remember the next time you order. The first terrible experience happened in Sept when they lost my online order, The staff were upset when I insisted that they remake the order without repayment. Then somehow crazy enough after I specified a couple of times for the sauce on the nuggets to be Honey BBQ it ended up being the hottest sauce they have available making my food inedible to me. It was a whole ordeal just getting the food remade, I was so upset about the whole thing I filed a complaint with Corporate. The Assistant Manager of the Sherwood location emailed me a week later telling me my complaint email was shared with the crew so they can improve. And to mention my name the next time I came in, they could discount my next order. I did not like this idea out of fear of retaliation, I felt as though the wrong sauce was intentional, because I refused to pay again for an order that they lost. Two months later I finally ordered again. I ordered via the app, Used my name like normal but I did not call the store or mention the discount that was promised, I just wanted to be able to enjoy KFC because my children love KFC Mac& Cheese. Well, that has now changed after they found yellow paper/hard pieces in their Mac & Cheese. My daughter almost swallowed it. See pics below. I again filed a complaint with Corporate but also went over to the store the next day and demanded to speak to the GM. Demanded to get the owner's name. Never got the owner's name, the same female who I dealt with the first order months ago tried to give me the store number saying the GM might be in later that day. I insisted that they call the GM so I could speak with them. She called someone who came in 5 minutes later. I do not believe I spoke to the GM or even a manager tbh. I showed them the picture below and she said "oh yeah that's a time tag it must have fallen in somehow" and then offered me a $5 refund. I mentioned my conspiracy theory and stated how this is the second time it seems like my food has been tampered with. She laughed it off. I asked again for the owner's name and contact information. She refused to give their info. At this point, I won't go back there again. I have zero confidence that food ordered under my name will not be tampered with. read more

We ordered the kids meal for my daughter which she loved, and my husband and I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. Let me tell you, this was delicious. Good food, but shorted every single drive through order for the past several orders over the past three months. Today I went inside with my list of past errors to try to get things fixed, and spoke with the manager who offered to upgrade my order to the #9 piece bucket with extra chicken, but ended up shorted biscuits, spuds/gravy and slaw. So after loading our order into ice buckets, we went through the drive through and spent another $15 to replace the spuds/gravy and slaw, and then when I got home two hours later: no biscuits. Sometimes this seems like a no win. So, reluctantly, once again, third time, shorted and called in to the store with an unhappy complaint. I would just like for them to get it right. I drove through my local, Sherwood, KFC yesterday. I placed my order for a three piece chicken meal with two sides. I paid my money and got my bag and my drink. I got home 25 minutes later to discover that my two sides were not included. I really didn't want my chicken to get cold while I drove back 25 minutes to pick up the sides and then home again. I took a chance and went in to the KFC today as I was shopping in the area. I explained what had happened and asked if there was anything they could do or if I could just purchase the two sides I was missing as I still had plenty of chicken. The man was so nice that not only did he give me the two sides and a drink, but he included another piece of chicken and a biscuit in the box. And I can't tell you how pleased I was about the whole transaction. He was polite and friendly and helpful and I really appreciate it As an older person, this is what I might expect for customer service, but it is seldom what I get. EFF this place! I'm furious!! I just got done puking my brains out from eating raw chicken! We were just served chicken that was raw inside. Ordered a bucket of chicken from the drive thru for a family movie night at home. Got home and proceeded to eat it. I didn't bother to look down until I had eaten two pieces already. Not to mention the lights were dimmed because we were having a movie night. But the texture of the chicken was a little chewier/more rubbery than I had been used to. So I flipped on the lights, and lo and behold, the fucking chicken is pink and bloody. SEE PICTURE Luckily we didn't eat the majority of the bucket. I'm definitely tossing it out. And I'm saving these bones to bring back to KFC to show them the bullshit that they served my family. Extremely disappointing to see KFC quality going down over the years. It's the same with each outlet they have in Portland and outskirts. I just hope the amount of money they spend on ads is used to make the chicken better. Just don't know what is the real KFC taste is like nowadays. Frankly it is much better outside US than here. Honestly, i dont know why I'm even writing a review. I've talked with the General Manager of this location and he said things will be fixed.... Wrong. After months and months later. I always come in and get a spicy chicken sandwich, 75% of the time the order is wrong. I usually get a regular chicken sandwich. Today was the last straw for me. I went and got my spicy chicken sandwich & a 10 piece corn dog nugget for my mom. They ask if I want mustard or ketchup and I said: "both please." I pull up to the window and the kid working at the window kept looking at me and laughing about something. It made me feel uncomfortable because he also kept mumbling. I drive 15 minutes home and pull out the bag to have just my chicken sandwich in there... they didn't even wrap the sandwich up. The photo is literally how I received it. Soggy as all get out, mushy like mashed potatoes and not that hot, temperature wise. Look in the bag for my moms corn dog nuggets... and there wasn't any. After reading a cheery story about KFC becoming a Christmas habit in Japan, we got nostalgic about being Southron Bucketheads, logged into KFC's system, and 100 minutes before closing, placed an order SH5FUW. Ha ha ha. Grubhub's driver called to say, half an hour before store closing, all the orders were 'shut down' with no explanation. Sucks to be her (no cash tip from us since no delivery), and sucks to be us (we don't get our Buckets). Well how many chances do you give a fast food restaurant? I have been to the Sherwood KFC a few times. As of late, their food quality and service has been below par. Today I ordered a bucket of extra crispy as a meal. I was cut off during my ordering as the employee finished my sentence for me guessing at my sides. At the window the employees were having a laugh fest. The food came relatively quickly. When I got home I checked the order. No gravy. The chicken was dark on the outside and somewhat dry. When I called the location and began telling the woman who answered that I only had received only one piece of chicken she abruptly interrupted me and said "first of all you need to calm down" which was completely uncalled for since I was speaking in a normal tone. Got home they gave me mashed potatoes without gravy how in the heck do you forget that. Also apparently they can't tell the difference between original recipe and extra crispy because I got all original. I order a combo that comes with a drink, they didn't give me the drink, I had to ask for it. So apparently they don't know what's in a combo meal either. Just a wretched place, I don't ever expect much from fast food but when it's KFC and they literally only have to grab the right breaded chicken and throw it in the box or grab the correct pre-made potatoes. I love KFC and visit this location often since it close to the movie theatre I go to. This location is fine unless you eat inside. It is absolutely freezing in their dining room in the winter. Everyone in the place has their jackets on and also the employees. This is not a one time thing either, it's year after year. It seems as though they do not want to pay for heating. This was the worst experience I had with a fast food drive thru. I will illustrate my experience. I didn't realize how poor the training and lack of customer centric this place has. KFC: "Can I take your order?" ( um, no hello!) Me: "may I have the 12 piece tender meal?" KFC: "Yes, is that it?" Me: I paused for a couple of seconds and asked "Don't I get sides with that and are you going to ask me what I would line for my sides?" KFC: "Oh yeah, what would you like" ( no apology) Me: I ordered my sides. KFC: "is that it? Me: "yes" then I wait for my total, but no response but I hear talking in the background. So I proceed to the window. KFC: opens the window and says "your total is ..." Me: thinking to myself, wow no greeting. As I proceed to pay and hands them my money. KFC: takes money, hands me my change, them meal. No "thank you" or anything. Just "here you go". As I get home and look through the bag of food, there are no utensils, packets of honey, butter, and any condiment.
