I pre-ordered through the app, well when I got there they didn't even have my order. The manager came over and asked how I put the order in, I told them and they had to find my receipt (which was on the cash register with a few others). I had the most splendid experience earlier today at this Panda Express. I ordered the orange chicken rice bowl and not only was the food off the charts but the customers service was phenomenal! The cashier Elena was so very polite and nice greeting me with her big smile and welcoming heart and on point service. My family and I ordered a three-entree meal, and we received no fortune cookies. After our meal, we had realized this. And, we consulted with the workers and were only allowed one fortune cookie, even after ordering a three-entree meal. I like the food and I only eat it every other month or so, but of the last 10 times we have had it at home or in the restaurant, I wanted Sweet and Sour Pork and they only had Sweet and Sour Pork available once in all of those. Been a customer here for a few years now and thought this location had the freshest tasting foood vs. Other locations hence why i eat at this location.....BUT the last couple times I ate there the food quality has been really, really disappointing and tasting like other locations the Orange Chicken use to taste light and fresh and the last couple times its been burnt and hard and not tasting correctly.....the Broccoli in the Beef and Broccoli was crunchy and the whole experience the last couple times have been not great at all...Not sure what the heck happened at this location but i might have to go elsewhere in the future.... read more

When you eat at Panda Express you know what you are getting. Your getting fast food Chinese Food. You eat at one Panda Express the food will most likely be the same as any other Panda Express. But what is not the same is the service. The customer service at this location sucks! The vast majority of the time I have visited this location they are out of several items and it usually takes them time to replace the food. What is more I walked out today when the woman who took my order stopped in the middle and took care of the people behind me and this was after I waited for the people in front of me to complete their order. I feel like a 2nd class citizen when I walk into this joint. Needless to say they lost my business today and I will think long and hard before ever going back again. It's not like there is a shortage of restaurants around in the neighborhood including other Chinese Restaurants. My suggestion to the owner or manager is to watch how your place is being run because your low wage employees don't give a dam! read more

It was 9:15 and I wanted to get some crab Rangoon's as a waited for the trolley. They yelled that they where closed and laughed at me 15 minutes before the actual closing time 9:30. Per my experience - by far the best panda location i have visited. Very busy, Xmass lights turning on and every single team member is smilling, is polite. Im not sure if Yamina is the GM but she is for sure running a stellar shift right now. I would drive from lemon grove every time i crave panda, before i visit any other locations. Came here on a Sunday night around 9:15 PM, 15 mins til closing. I ordered quite a few and to my surprise, they made some of the dishes fresh for me! I know how it is with some establishments, they just want to clean up and will not entertain late orders. This was not the case here. So went again tonight, they got busy after me, I felt ignored actually. When I got home my food was luke warm and my order wasn't what I had ordered. I was given two many of the teriyaki chickens instead of the orange I'm feeding a house full and only one of the 8 people here eat the teriyaki chicken so I only ever order one of them in the family feast. $56 later my husband calls to state the problem, that we were given two of those and one orange chicken it should've been switched the other way around. He called to tell them about their mistake and see what we could do even if it meant me going back to exchange their mistake. The women was rude kept telling him that she gave me what I ordered and that she even told the cashier what I ordered. Then clearly it was her mistake. This is how the mangers treat customers. I come to this place often when I am craving chinese and am in town visiting. Food is always good and the workers there are very sweet. I do seem to come in during the peaks they are busy so sometimes the waiting for the food that's cooking can take a bit longer than usual. I'm pretty patient though. They always get my order correct and double check my food when I ask to make sure everything is there. Other than the waiting times, I am always satisfied when I come here. Also, in regards to the suppose employee's review, I actually agree with it. As a customer, I understand that customer service is important to us but there is a difference in what customers believe is customer service and treating them like they are second class citizens. While I do agree that the rant is immature and a bit much, I have seen this for myself. It is very rude to be on your phone when you are "ready" to order and you tell the server what you want and then when you reach the cashier, you say they got your order wrong. I had a customer in front of me literally scream at the cashier, who had nothing to do with serving the food, that she got his order wrong even though it was exactly what he asked for as I heard him. If he had been off his cell phone that he had on him the entire time, he would have paid attention and mentioned correctly what he wanted. And yes, I butted in and told him that he did order the orange chicken and not the sweet fire. They are not mind readers people! Also, you have to remember some of the workers here are minors or trying to work through college so they are as much stressed as you are. Some may be parents trying to support their children. Telling a company to fire an employee for their right to to their opinion is so wrong on so many levels. If you can't handle the truth or are very sensitive, go somewhere else. I know it is their job to clean up and serve you but being rude nasty pigs and acting like you're the king and queen demanding your servants to clean up after you is not the way to treat anyone. The employee may have been having a rough day and may have finally hit their limits. It happens. Treat the employee with respect. I know many treat their dogs better than they do to these workers and I am one to speak up when I see it happening. Good Evening, Our receipt says that Mayra D served us but it was actually Minnie that waited on us. She has been working at this Panda Express location for several years now. She is a great Ambassador for your company. She is always friendly and she "gets" my order without a lot of extra explanation. I like the Veggies spread across the center of the plate with the Black Pepper Chicken directly on top. You would be amazed to know how difficult that can be to convey (but not at this location). I love this location it is always clean (Rest Rooms and Eating area are immaculate) and when they don't have your dish on the line they get it done quickly. I don't go to Panda Express too often but usually service is great. I just moved to the area and went for the first time after having a long work week. I agree with some of the other comments about staff not being welcoming. I was in and ask just for spring rolls. The employee helping points to the girl at the register and says she will help me. I assumed she meant go up to the Register since you're only getting spring rolls, again I'm not a regular here so not sure. I go to the front and some people are waiting for orders. I step to the side and verify with the girl if this was I was supposed to stand because I did not want to feel like I was cutting in line. Girl at the register was rushing around and said yes I'll help you. Then the staff start making comments to themselves in Spanish thinking I didn't understand. They were staring at me telling each other I "jumped the line" and " I didn't tell her to go there" we are all adults. Why couldn't they say that to me?? I would have gladly moved back to my spot. this was in front of other costumers. I was ready to speak up and defend myself but I was honestly exhausted and was not about to make people wait longer for their food. I was upset and just paid for my food and left. I was immediately greeted and offered a sample as soon as I walked in. The cashier was extremely friendly and helpful, and efficient in getting my order together. She made eye contact, smiled, and just seemed genuinely happy to help customers. Another patron walked in while she was plating my food, and she greeted them and told them she would be right with them. She recognized one entree was almost empty and asked for another to be filled. When I do not have time to wait, I often go to the Panda Express because of their super fast service, and then I always order Orange Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp and Fried Rice. One reason I love this restaurant is that the staff provides warm, heaping entrees. As Orange Chicken is the most popular type of dish that is available,this is very according to the time of day, so occasionally, diners may not be able to order exactly what they like, but this dish is always ready. It is replenished regularly, assuring its freshness. There are friendly staff, and the tables are usually clean, depending on the location. So far, my best Panda Express experience has been at Santee Trolley Square. Their workers are polite to customers, and they always keep clean. Even at their peak times such as lunch, they work with brisk efficiency. I was here Sunday night (before Walking Dead of course) and I was actually very impressed. They were really packed that night, with probably a dozen or more people standing in line. Still, the staff moved quickly and efficiently to get everyone served, all while staying friendly. I think it says a lot for Panda's workflow, but definitely for the staff as well. I think most people would get stressed out in that situation, but they didn't show it. So kudos to them. The food was excellent too! read more
