Looking around, this store is well decorated to the theme with open floor plan and ample seating. Our food was fast and so delicious and the mozzarella had such a great cheese pull! I then asked Vieann H (who identified herself as the manager) when I showed her my receipt from last time I visited and questioned why they reversed the previous points and why I got none from this receipt I produced. She tried to act like it was my fault I received no points and couldn't tell me why the points were reversed from the previous visit (even after she went back in the office to do the research. She told me when came back from the office, she could see all my order history but she couldn't give me back any points from my 2 previous visits. I told her this will be the last time I come and she is losing a customer over 29 points. SHE COULD CARE LESS. Her response to this was "I went in the back to do research". Beware! They don't even deserve the 1 Star I had to give them.

I then go outside to find the food placed halfway down my long, semi-steep driveway, not even close to my door. There was no knock on my door, no doorbell rung, no text message, notification or anything to notify me when food was delivered. When I finally found the food it was ice cold. Not lukewarm, it was cold. I notified the pizza shop, the person who claimed they were the manager/ owner was rude, he didn't care and told me to take it up with slice. I filed a complaint with slice, they didn't care either. This is totally bizarre and shady business practice. I would AVOID this place at all costs.

Instead of simply checking in and giving me space, he continued hovering and watching me eat. It felt like I was being observed rather than allowed to enjoy my meal. As someone who already doesn't like feeling watched while eating, this completely took away my appetite. I ended up pushing my food aside because I was so uncomfortable. It wasn't the replacement meal that ruined my experience--it was the constant hovering and feeling like I was being monitored. I hope this feedback is taken constructively because I truly do enjoy this restaurant and will likely continue coming back. The chef and my server handled everything with professionalism and care, and they deserve recognition for that. Not a recent discovery, but rather a local favorite of mine. I haven't found too many decent wing places since I moved to San Diego, but this one at the top of my list. Being from the east coast, my problem is that I have an addiction to buffalo strips...I know it's not the healthiest of foods, but I guess that's why they call it an "addiction". Overall, I love there wing sauce...however, do not get there x-hot sauce, not because I can't handle the heat, but because the flavor of buffalo is lost in the burning sensation. I can drink a whole bottle of tabasco if I wanted, so don't assume I'm a stranger to spicy foods. But it must be well-balanced spiciness and I think their "hot" delivers just that. Boneless wings are tender on the inside with a perfect crisp on the outside, smothered in more than enough sauce and very meaty. Had to use a knife to cut them into bite sizes. I tried the garlic mild sauce and honey BBQ sauce, both were soooo good! Also tried the buffalo chicken salad which is simple but fresh and very satisfying. Young lady who brought our order of food to the table was delightfully kind and accommodating to us first timers who were too busy chatting with each other that we hadn't noticed the location of napkins and forks. She brought them to us with a smile even though we could have gotten up to get them ourselves. I stopped by Epic Wings in El Cajon during my lunch break to satisfy a wing craving. While the ordering process was a bit slower than expected, considering I was the only one in line, the food made up for it. Once I placed my order, it came out quickly and piping hot. I went with the 4-piece tender meal and added a side of fries. The tenders were perfectly cooked and hit the spot, while the fries were surprisingly huge--easily enough to feed at least four people. I've tried a lot of other wing places (wingstop, new york buffalo, and various other restaurants) but have come to realize that as far as flavor goes, you can't beat Wing N Things! I always get the medium sauce on chicken strips with ranch and lots of breadsticks. The chicken is always good quality and the sauce is amazing.
