I do not come to Panda that much because I prefer to experiment trying new places to enjoy and also review but tonight I was so hungry and didn't feel like cooking. I was in the mood for convenient Chinese Food and of course Panda was nearby so it was perfect timing for me. I decided to get the Sizzling Shrimp dish with rice in a bowl because I didn't want to eat too much and feel that sick feeling to your stomach experience. The shrimp dish was so good. It has vegetables in it alongside the shrimp which are red bell peppers. I was so hungry I didn't photograph my meal so next time. The bowl is also the perfect portion size for me, and I ordered a Pomegranate lemonade which is so bold with flavor and really quenches your thirst and fantastic. I wanted to say that it makes such a big difference to have a friendly, efficient, helpful, and professional young. college kid helping me named Kai. I will definitely be coming back as long as he is there. I was finished up with eating getting ready to throw my trash away and he came up to me asking me if he could do it. Such service. My granddaughter and I walked in Kenia gave us a dry low voiced hi and proceeded to finish an order she was working on. No Smile. No, Hi Welcome! No, I'll be right with you! I got tired of standing up waiting on her at the counter so I sat down. Two ladies by this time walked in and she gave them the same sorry greeting started helping them without a smile, just merely hi. I waited until she helped the two ladies to express her unbelievably lack of great greeting and customer service and letting her know I entered first which she knows already. As she was ringing up one lady she asked a gentleman who I believe may have been the cook to help me so I said to the gentleman perhaps that's what she should of done I got here First since I was here First. She walks up as the gentleman asked me if I wanted noodles or rice and he placed the noodle on the plate then she rudely took the plate from him after he put the noodles on the plate and proceeded to ask what did she say (meaning what did I say) ? I was standing there and repeated myself to her as she put the teriyaki chicken on my plate . She started making excuses and not taking accountability for not helping me first before the ladies. She said I wasn't in line. There was no line when I entered. I should have stood in line. I thought you were waiting on someone. I was I was waiting on Kenia! Kenia proceeded to turn her poor attitude and awful customer service on me knowing darn well there is no excuse for her to treat any customer like she treating them. She said yes I don't have to help you. I said I can as I was asking her name she lifted the side of her shirt where her badge name was placed her uniform shirt proudly. I am a faithful customer of Panda Express and have never experienced this type of behavior from an employee at this location or any of the other locations I frequent. The food was delicious... after like a 30 minute wait. It was like peak lunch time and they had one person making plates and one person cooking. it seems like one employee had gone off to get change because by the time they were making my food, they had come in and things seemed to be moving faster. the wait wouldn't have been so bad but there's not much space to stand in-line at the entrance and there were no high chairs in sight for my toddler so he was kinda being impatient and rowdy. the rice and noodles were pretty bland... but the chicken (we got teriyaki, orange and honey chicken) had all the flavor to overpower the rice. Unfortunately they were out of Honey Walnut shrimp, my absolute fave and usually the only reason i would step into a Panda Express. $32 for a family meal and a drink (with a 20% off coupon i found online) seems kinda expensive but we just wanted to grab something quick to eat before we headed home. at our local chinese restaurant we would have paid $30 for almost double the amount of food and waaay faster service. the stars in this rating are mostly for the chicken, which was delicious read more

Three stars is a low score for me and feel bad even doing that because the service was so good. We happened to order two things they had empty pans on - orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. As such, we had a long wait, my granddaughter and me. The place was busy and we were several deep on the waiting list for the aforementioned entrees. The girl processing our order (Geena) was conscientious enough to apologize and offer a free drink. This review is starting to sound like I'm complaining so let me qualify these comments - we are extremely patient and were not complaining nor did we exhibit any bad body language, we were maybe a little tired from the movies but that's it. So, what's the point right? The point is sometimes stuff happens and delays occur and no amount of complaining is going to fix things unless one feels the people behind the counter didn't care. In this case, these folks were working hard to meet the demand.......kudos to the staff! The food? Oh yeh, the chicken and the shrimp were both okay, nothing to write home about. The orange chicken had some pieces that were a little too bready and the shrimp not crispy enough for me. One other entree I really liked was the grilled chicken and green beans.....so good! I'm hereby uncloseting myself as a Panda Express fan. Yes, yes, it's insanely Americanized, and my Chinese friends will no doubt give me grief, but Panda is a supremely satisfying guilty pleasure. Give me some orange chicken, Beijing beef, and chow mein, and I am one happy Wonder bread white man. And I don't care who knows! This location has always been reliable. I have been to some Pandas where the food seems to have been sitting out a bit too long, but everything has always tasted fresh here. One current issue, however: during these crazy Covid times, the line can be extremely slow, as they hold customers outside until they are ready to take your order. I don't usually write reviews but Kai had amazing customer service last night! I took my 2/4 year old girls with me to eat and of course unfortunately my kids were messy and wild and I was totally embarrassed when my two year old completely dropped her juice all over the floor spilling into the surrounding tables, but Kai told me it was totally fine and he has little brothers and that behavior is normal for their age. Of course I knew that but it was nice not feeling so judged especially by a super young male worker where usually I feel like I'm bothering people. Made an online order yesterday at 4:20pm. The pickup time was 7:15pm. When my husband walked in to pick up the order, he was ignored by the staff and they gave out five other orders before him. Our order wasn't even ready by the time they did acknowledge him. On top of that, they didn't do our order correct. I called the store to ask why the order wasn't done on time, they said they were backed up and way under staffed. I understand that because of COVID but I made my order hours in advance, and online orders were ready, but not ours? When the girl was telling me about that reasoning she put me on hold just so I couldn't talk, when I asked for a manager she said they don't have one, and she was in charge. I then asked "will your manager be in tomorrow?" She replied yes you can talk to them then. I called today, first time no answer. Second time, the girl didn't give her name, but said they don't have a manager. I asked for an assistant manager, her response "we don't have one." I tried to do their survey online, but the receipt is missing the code I need to do it. I couldn't find the store number online last night. I emailed corporate about their service. Usually pretty good. Not to happy today. Tonight I asked for walnut shrimp, half/half fries rice and chowmein and teriyaki chicken. Got to the teriyaki chicken section, she chopped up some breast.. realized it was not fully cooked, hesitated and then put it back in the first container. There was no more chicken so Then she took the lid off the other container which was empty as well except for left overs and started tossing those in my plate. Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I've ordered at Panda Express outlets maybe three times in the past and tonight's experience reminded me why I avoid them. It's Christmas Eve at 7 pm and, with every other fast food outlet in the neighborhood shut down for the night, I decided to take a chance on PE. Only one other person in front of me but, unfortunately, she had a list of orders to fill. Uber driver, perhaps? I did wait, however, for her order to be filled and then place my order for one bowl. My bowl was filled but sat there for another ten minutes as the server started filling a new order that I'm guessing came in online. She filled tray after tray after tray while my bowl sat there getting cold! Take note, Panda Express manager....you had better take care of your walk-in customers first! This spot is usually packed with lines out the door but today there was hardly anyone dinning in but the line was forming. I sampled the sriracha shrimp and it was ok.
