The food here is awful. Hot dogs are "ok" but so don't try the burger. It was a mess and inedible.

Do NOT order the tea here. They must not clean their machines - it tastes and smells like something rotten. Had to spit it out in the car. Taste lingers for hours. I love Wienerschnitzel! I don't know if this place is 5 star worthy, but it gets extra points for a few reasons. The food here is quite good. I would personally argue that it is better than other fast food restaurants. It is definitely not top tier, but it is good enough, and it is better than average. The service is normal, and quick enough. There were some customers who took their time when I went here today, but that is not the fault of anyone working at the restaurant. The ambiance was also nice. The hot dogs I got were very good. I've had better fries, but they were decent enough. The mini corn dogs have got to be one of the best items on their menu thought. I give an extra star to this Wienerschnitzel, instead of the usual 3 stars that most places deserve, because of the hot dogs alone. There are not that many drive throughs where you can get hot dogs, and that is why I have blessed this holy Wienerschnitzel with the sacred fourth star! This day and age, my business philosophy is that customer service trumps everything else. I'm also as reasonable person as you will find, without being a push-over. Bye bye Main St. Wienerschnitzel. My pride, wallet and waistline will benefit from this boycott. A business can make a mistake, take too long or anything else, but if you customer thinks that you put them first, they'll come back. If your customer thinks that you don't care about them, they'll find another place to go. I brought some $1 bills, thinking that the water vending machines would take bills or a credit card. They only took quarters. No problem, I'm getting lunch, so I'll get $3 worth of quarters when I order lunch. Well, after ordering $15 worth of food, I ask if they would exchange my $3 for 12 quarters. Nope. I said, really, I just ordered $15 worth of food and you can't just make $3 worth of change? "We don't have time to go to the bank" was the response. They had quarters, by the way. Ordered the Chili tamale and loaded hot dog for not knowing what I wanted.  The tamale comes with chili on top.  Knowing I was not in a Mexican shop and what I was ordering, I was surprised how good it tasted.  The loaded hot dog was a disappointment after the chili tamale.  The loaded hot dog had a couple of fries and some other toppings. They have some ice cream items on the menu they don't have at some other locations. I decided to try their Angus & Pastrami Dog on a Pretzel Bun because they look very good on their advertisement. When I arrived it was not very busy so I got to order right away. A few days ago, I complained through Wienerschnitzel's corporate quality control at WWW.HOTDOG.SMG.COM after I was continuedly being shortchanged on my orders on three separate occasions within the past month. I am happy to say Wienerschnitzel's corporate quality control management and this particular franchise owner came through, I was contacted by phone by Wienerschnitzel's district manager and immediate steps were taken to quickly remedy this situation and restore my faith that Wienerschnitzel really cares about its customers and takes quality control seriously. I'm thinking customers here have a love/hate relationship with this place. I really, really want to like this place so bad, but as of today, I have to tell myself "No More"! This inevitably lets me down and I am not coming back. First, I only came here maybe 4 times a year, if that. So whoever from WS reads this, isn't going to care about my review. I don't know of the Franchisee or Owner or Manager is telling employees to be "upbeat" and or comedic, but it backfires quite often and for someone like me that only goes about 4 times a year, I get confirmation from a friend of mine who also only comes about 4 times a year and is put off by a lot of things at this place, employee being one of them. Just strange and not necessary. Then it's the wait. And wait. And wait for your food at this place. And that;s part of the reason I only came 4 times a year because if I was heading to the drive thru and saw even one car in front of me, I would skip this place and go to Rally's instead. So I only went when there was no one in line because otherwise the wait here is so horrendous I have to shut my engine off. And then finally.....The fries. The fries are ALWAYS either cold or lukewarm here. Whatever it is, in the 20 years I have lived here, they have never been hot. Never. I think maybe they bag the fries and then wait for everything to get done and since there is always a long wait, the fries are cold. The straw that broke the camel's back. Tonight I drove by and no one was in line. Here we go. Cold to warm fries but I had a hankering for a chili burger. The guy at the microphone was goofy, as always they seem to be and I ordered an all beef hot dog, chili burger, medium fries and 4 k9 hot dogs for my dogs But it was all actually very quick! WOW! I came here late last night around 11:15 PM with a strong craving for corn dogs. My boyfriend and I decided on sharing a 20 pack of mini corn dogs with some bacon ranch chili fries and he also got a banana split. I'm going to start with the positive: the fries were amazing! They were delicious and we scraped the box clean. Which is why they got an extra star. Now the bad: The banana they gave him in the banana split was overly ripe and had black spots in it. So gross! Despite that, he enjoyed the other parts of the banana split. Now this is why I'm truly complaining, we open our box of corn dogs and they were completely CHARRED. It is ridiculous that they would be willing to give burnt corn dogs to paying customers. It's not like we came right before closing, this was still during their hours of operation. We would have gladly waited longer for fresh, properly cooked ones. It was clear that they were trying to cook them faster because the outside was charred but the inside dough was sticky and raw. I guess it's not normal to add sprinkles to a chocolate dipped cone, Bekas was trying really hard to make it work. Sprinkles on half of the chocolate dipped cone before it hardened.
