Food was pretty good. Only complaint is the cream cheese wontons were way overcooked. They should have been tossed versus sold. Everything else was pretty good, so we will be back to try them again. Ordered food here through DoorDash and was so happy that they still packed the food in their containers. The food quality is way better than anything you find at Panda Express and the fact they are so generous with their portions, its unbeatable!! Did not even mention the prices. Even on a food delivery app, I was surprised that they are reasonably priced with the amount of food you get. This may have to be my new go to for quick service Chinese food in east county! read more

You know they have places like that, but you just don't get authentic true authentic food I could do here anymore. I ordered here through Uber eats. It looks so delicious on their Uber eats menu . I looked at their Yelp reviews after ordering. You can imagine how nervous I was about how our dinner was going to be after reading many recent 1 star reviews. I cannot comment on their customer service in person , however ,they did give us exactly what we ordered. The food is typical Chinese fast food and definitely a cheat meal . We tried their orange chicken, bbq pork , coconut shrimp and mushroom chicken . They give great portions . The food has a lot of flavor . The food is also a little on the greasy side. read more

My husband doordashed a combo and a Wonton soup it was so much food, so affordable and some of the BEST orange chicken I've EVER had. We can't recommend enough and plan to come again absolutely delicious. They made the meal so quick and was delivered promptly. read more

I ordered the Combo A with Chow Mein, Fried Rice and Teriyaki Chicken. Everything was cold. The Chow Mein and Fried Rice were both undercooked and gummy. The chicken was overcooked to the point that it looked more like beef and was really dry. My husband had the same combo, but with ribs. They were also overcooked and all bone. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by Pan Pan Wok. We randomly discovered it and thought we should try ordering take out from them. We both got 1 entree bowls. I ordered a fried rice bowl with orange chicken. My husband ordered a fried rice bowl with teriyaki chicken. I also ordered a side of cream cheese wontons. Their ordering system is really convenient. You could either go directly through their website or yelp. I used their website, and my husband paid for it when he arrived at the restaurant. The bowls were very delicious, and their rice is so moist and flavorful. Their cream cheese wontons are actually sweet like cheesecake. It was a pleasant surprise, but not what I expected. The only thing that would make this place more authentic is a Chinese kid sitting in the corner doing their homework. I've eaten lots of Chinese food before. From Hong Kong all the way up to the bay area. This place is pretty good. We'll, I guess just a little better than Panda X. It was light enough to not get the sodium boats but the spicy food is way spicy. When I ordered, the cashier shouted in Chinese to the back of house. That's pretty authentic. We ordered from here last week. The food was great! Vegetables were crisp and crunchy. Large tasty chunks of amazing chicken. Cream cheese wonton was delicious. Missed the peanuts in the man dish We ordered again tonight . We were so disappointed. Different chef? Everything was mushy. Tiny pieces of chicken cooked horribly. The vegetables were a mushy mess. Brand new restraunt at 356 North Second St (next to Dollar Tree) with combination entrees of food and large soups to dine in or to go.All food like Panda is ready for consumption. Ive gone there twice and got orange chicken,beef and brocoli,vegetable chow mein,shimp chow mein ,etc, and a pack of four cookies. and drink. The food was delicious and the service were outstanding.The place was impeccably clean and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The combo with refillable fountain drinks is about $15 per meal. Highly reccommend to try his brand new place out.It is good healthy food. Credit cards accepted. read more

Nope. Lower quality panda! I ordered a single helping of the spicy shrimp, the sign said 4.99 then a small order of wontons. Total almost 16$ wontons are so greasy they were mushy and the grease was nasty tasting. The Go next door and have pho. That place is amazing! this hidden gem is amazing. I never knew it was there until my daughter took me. The food tastes great not like frozen and reheated. I have never been a fan of orange chicken the taste just seemed so bland, well last night I ate so much of it from PanPan Wok. it was fresh tender chicken. The servings are full not counted out to make sure you don't get too much they just fill it. This is my go to for Chinese food no more P&@%a. read more

Not very happy with the service that I received with this Chinese restaurant I've noticed that the young Chinese lady that was serving the customers was playing favoritism she was giving extra food to the elderly couple that was standing in front of me and then when I was next she was removing food off of my tray giving me a lot less than the people that was ahead of me my money is the same color as everybody else I felt discriminated against read more

This place is awful. We ordered from here tonight- they sent us the wrong rice and completely wrong order. The shrimp wasn't even de-shelled and we ordered it to not be spicy- it is so spicy I can't eat more than 1 bite and my mouth is on fire. The beef is slimy and gross. We spent a $100 and I regret it all! Never eat at this spot if you want to enjoy your night. read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. Terrible customer service!! I told her that my orange chicken was extremely chewy and had an odd odor to it. She refused to exchange it for me and handed me another piece of orange chicken on a toothpick. I asked if I could get another item instead, and she said NO! So I came hungry and left the same. I got a good ol case of diarrhea still suffering from it. I ordered an extremely overpriced small box of coconut shrimp. Was fasting the whole day and decided to order from there after a medical blood draw. I only took a few bites and was done. I felt it immediately. That was Monday today is Thursday. Before this I only ate here a few times before this. Will NEVER eat here again! My mom hated the food and told me this place isn't that good. I should have listened. This review will focus on the food alone as we ordered it through GrubHub and had it delivered. We love Chinese food and are always looking for a new place to try. Sometimes it works out and other times not so much. This would be a not so much. We ordered the " Family Deal " because it included things we like plus a choice of 3 large sides for $46.99. Where to start. The egg rolls were very small. like 2 inches long and 1 inch around. They were not crispy and tasted like old oil. Ate one, threw away 3. The Chow Mein was just a pile of dry greasy noodles. No veggies, no meat just noodles that tasted of old oil. The Fried rice was extremely dry. The Black pepper beef and Sweet and sour short ribs were so salty they were not edible. The Orange chicken was the only item in the order that was halfway decent though it was very spicy. The Egg Flower soup was a large canister of greasy liquid that had no flavor. The order came in at over $60 and we threw away 75% of it. Very disappointing. read more

When I saw this place was open I had to try it. The food is very delicious and the portions sizes are good for a reasonable price. I paid $11.56 total for a two item combo with chow mein, orange chicken and spicy chicken. The service is excellent and the woman working was very nice. Food was delish. Portions to go were huge. Had #3 combo. Enough for at least two more meals. Rice AND noodles in combo. I had orange chicken, beef broccoli and spicy fried chicken. Will definitely go there again. Great food. Few little benches inside to eat but I prefer take out. Cute little English mistake: The young guy told me "50 cent more per translation" when I asked about using a cc. I had him repeat. Told him nicely the correct word was " transaction". I ordered fried rice it is bland if you happen to get a pea mixed in that is the only flavor you will get with the rice. I got chowmain it was bland all you taste is cabbage and oil. I bbq pork the pork is old you can tell it also looked like an unfamiliar animal parts. I got spicy chicken wings it was bland no color no flavor no spice . The orange chicken well the kids didn't complain and I didn't taste it. Lastly the vegetable rolls bland it tastes just like the chowmain but with a crispy wrap. No sesame no ginger no Asian spice no salt no pepper no garlic or onion just nothing infact after tasting the food when I burped there's was no hint that I had ate anything read more

Just don't. It gets worse with every bite. Proteins are drier and suspiciously gamier than they should be. Flavors don't sit right with me. Chow mein is straight up bad. I'm leaving a one star review so the overall rating is more accurate. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra ten minutes for Panda Express. Or just eat anything else on 2nd street. Easily the worst food on the block. Shit I'll go to Carls Jr before I go there ever again. read more

I am leaving this review because of what happened in all this... Yeah... but giving me old food, messing up my order, not preparing my food right (even after they charged extra for it), and touching my food makes me realize it's probably for the best. But hey, at least they remembered to charge me fried wontons, customer always comes last, you know?

I have been coming to hands country for 3 years and never experienced this or observed it. The staff does seem to speak limited English and I think patrons see take this as rude. You should give them a try. The prices are excellent considering McDonalds is comparable in price for less. The food is consistently good and I've been here 30+ times. Yes if you go to mira Mesa or san diego you can get more authentic Chinese cooking but for American style Chinese utvis good. The portions are on the larger size. They are almost never full but its because they have so much take out orders that the restaurant almost always has space. It's always clean. Last thing I will say is my wife is Chinese so I have tried everything San Diego has to offer, and spent weeks in China. This restaurant in my opinion is very good considering the food taste and portions, price, good service and ease of parking with no waiting. If you haven't tried them you should, if you have and didn't like, give them another try. Skip a fast food dinner and give them another shot, for about the same price. I recommend them.

Dad had sweet and sour chicken which he enjoyed. Vegetarian egg rolls were yummy. Mooshoo chicken delightfully messy and tasty. With respect to pad Thai, perhaps the Chinese version is meant to be different? Very spicy, heavy on noodles, had a lot of green peppers and very little chicken. No nuts. Not a huge fan of this style. But the moo shoo chicken made up for it.
