I have always loved the Greek chicken here, which makes writing this review incredibly disappointing. I went through the drive-thru and specifically ordered dark meat from the guy who took my order. Because it was a drive-thru order, I didn't think to open up the containers and check the chicken before pulling away. Unfortunately, when I got all the way home, I discovered they gave me white meat instead. The customer service at the window didn't make the situation any better. A different girl handed me my food, and she gave off a vibe that she really didn't care to be working there at all. When I called the store to report the mistake, the assistant manager just told me to drive all the way back so they could change it. While I understand that's standard procedure, it's incredibly inconvenient to have to make a second trip and let the rest of your lunch get cold just because the staff couldn't get a simple request right the first time. The food is usually worth it, but the lack of basic attention to detail and indifferent customer service ruined my lunch. Check your boxes before you drive away! read more

Greek Chicken is one of my favorite go to places. I love their chicken combos. Today I was a bit disappointed because my salad had a lot of old lettuce. Which is very unappealing. Not sure if they've changed their method but my garlic bread wasn't garlic bread. It looked like 2 pieces of toast with maybe melted cheese. Not a fan! I wish they'd go back to their Texas sized garlic bread. My chicken was good as usual but the bread was a no go. It seems like the salad portion has gotten smaller also. read more

Greek chicken hits! We used not eat here too much because it was definitely over priced. However the economy has caught up to their average prices, and they seem to have increased quantity and quality of their food so it's worth it now. Everything tastes great. The Greek chicken is seasoned so well. The Greek salad is always fresh. Even their garlic bread is on point! I always opt for zucchini fries as my side. The best part may be their tzatziki sauce and ranch sauce. And they have franks red hot sauce available to mix in, if you like some spice! read more

The staff were slammed when we went in - they were in the middle of a lunch rush so I'll give them some grace. I ordered the fish and chips but an employee dropped one of my fish when trying to give me the tray so that delayed my order an additional 15 minutes - there was no apology or acknowledgement besides "oops. If the manager hates her job that much, she should find something else. This place has gone downhill for years, and I'm done. I spent $38 on a fish lunch and a sandwich (they forgot to give me)--then they had an attitude and tried to charge me for sauce. I love the food here, however two visits in a row I've been given the wrong order when using the drive through.

I have loved Greek Chicken for over 23 years. However, over the past few years, I don't know what is going on. This past weekend, I went through the drive through and got chicken and a salad. I got pita bread, because their garlic bread was the best, but now they have cheese in the middle and it's not as grilled. The food was delicious, nothing tasted off, mind you I have been eating here for years. However, this time, I got really sick, really bad stomach ache, and cramping. I was talking to a friend of mine about why I was sick, and he said he got sick with the same symptoms the last time he ate at the Greek Chicken in El Cajon. So I wonder if they have added an additive that doesn't sit right with some people. read more

The two stars are for the service (the young woman in the drive thru was an absolute sweetheart) and for the milkshake. The rest was pretty bad. The zucchini used to be my favorite but it lacked flavor and needed less time in the fryer. Their garlic bread used to be thick sourdough, but tonight it was two thin pieces smashed together and overcooked so it was chewy. The chicken was so dry and didn't taste the same. The hummus was covered in whatever they sprinkle on top. I think it was chili powder, but it was overpowering. I tried to scrape it off and forgot the before pic, but you can see it sprinkled on the container. The rice had zero flavor and just felt greasy.I actually threw most of the meal away, which was sad because it was my birthday meal and I was looking forward to it. read more

Horrible customer service. They got our order wrong and they were very rude when we pointed it out and would not listen to us when we said what was wrong with the order. The girl who answered the phone just took my name down and said next time we go in they will give us the items that were missing/wrong at no cost. When we went in the next time they only gave us 1 item free even though we had multiple items missing/wrong from previous order and it was a struggle even getting them to give us the one item. Then when we got home we noticed the order was wrong again. When we called this time the woman that answered was again very rude and was saying nothing was missing. Wrong, missing, over 40m waiting in drive through. Two chicken kebab meal, M chicken salad, chocolate shake. Wrong salad dressing. No tzatziki sauce yet 2 in the bag. Ranch only for both meals missing. Missing rice. Chocolate shake had banana in it. Worry about your customers an hour before you close instead of closing out your register. Absolutely awful customer service. First off the staff can't keep up with the amount of customers trying order food. Then I order my food via drive thru and received only half. I had to drive back once I noticed. They tie the bags. When I let them know they wanted to give me the rest of my food they had been sitting in a bag. I asked for fresh food the girl working was very confrontational. They attempted to blame this on me. The boy working who was working the drive thru told me that he said there was more, which did not happen or I would have stayed. We actually had a conversation about why he needed my number and the points that you can earn. So he absolutely did not say anything. This place is awful. As I'm writing this the girl who was confrontational just stated out load "I'm clocking out. I quit". There have been five or more customers receiving their food with apologies from the staff. Worst experience ever!!! Ordered food and had to say my order 4 times. Then after waiting 20 minutes I get to the window where they ignored me for 5 minutes. Then when I get to the window my order was wrong. They had the audacity to ask me to pull around to wait for the correct order. When I told them no they then said that I had to. I don't usually have complaints about this Greek Chicken location, but they really let me down. I got some food to take home & was very disappointed with the quality. The rice was very bland & overcooked, but the worst was the salad. The greens were not fresh at all, they were brown & wilting. To top it off, the portions were very small. Got fried zucchini and it comes with ranch. This is one of my favorite items on their menu, my favorite fried zucchini for sure. The lady who helped me was really nice and patiently helped take my order. I sat outside, this is the only location that has outside seating in east county and it was nice to do that on a sunny day. There was a sewer smell outside, so I wasn't going to sit out there at first, but it went away by the time my order was ready. read more

chicken salad was terrible, the chicken looked like tidbits of chicken jerky and tasted just as bad, lettuce looked and tasted like it had been left out at room temp for hours soggy and not good. garlic bread was actually a semi grilled cheese there was so much grease coming out of the bread it was like it came out of the deep fryer. 10/14/24 - I came in with a buddy. Drive thru line was long and we ordered inside. Inside was busy as well. Ordered at 5:49pm, the food was ready at 5:59pm. Faster than I thought it was going to be. Heard about this place from a happy customer at the Chiropractors office and the way she talked it up I was more than impressed. Wasn't sure what to expect from a fast food chicken place but have been proven wrong many times before. Ordered the Gyro sandwich and chicken kabob dinner and everything was impressive. Chicken was succulent and cooked beautifully, the Greek salad was well seasoned, and the Gyro sandwich had just the right amount of meet with the pita bread. Every time we go to this place probably in the past year the music is so loud you can barely hear yourself think!!! people are screaming over the music just to try to talk when it's busy.. is it really necessary?
