Stopped by epic wings on Father's Day to grab a drink and some wings. I was greeted by a man named Brady. I haven't been to epic wings in a long time and was craving wings. Brady walked me through the menu and helped me choose a beer to go with my wings. Brady chose a liquid candy ipa for me to have and it was amazing! I ordered lemon pepper wings and fries. They were extremely busy but everyone had a smile on their face and was working as a team. As I was about to leave Brady told me to have a great day and he would see me soon. Thanks Brady for being so friendly and getting me a great beer!!! read more

There is literally piss all over the restroom floor. One urinal has been out of commission for over 3 weeks. The only remaining one is now overflowing. The "spare" restroom is also out of order. Are the men now expected to use the women's restroom? This is crazy simple stuff. Hire a competent plumber. read more

FYI. The urinal in men's restroom is out of service, it has been that way since last week. Unisex restroom is inop and out of service. A restaurant needs to provide toilet facilities to be maintained clean, sanitary and in good repair. Ownership needs to address these concerns. read more

The middle restroom lock wasn't working. I had to ask another costumer to watch the door for me while I was using the restroom.

This Epic Wings location is huge!!! I've eaten at the Mira Mesa, National City, Anaheim and now this Santee location. Everyone here is super friendly and cool as well. I went to the bar as I waited for my takeout order. There were many beers on top and wine too. The bar patrons are easy to joke with. It was my first visit and it was one of those wow moments that felt really nice and like a local spot for sure! Epic wings are always fire! I love their breadsticks and lemon pepper wings. 10/10 love this spot for wings and beers in Santee! read more

This is my favorite wing place. I love the lemon pepper seasoned bone in chicken wings. Today I also got the Epic rice bowl with chunks of boneless chicken with mild sauce. There was a lot of rice and not that much chicken. Not sure if I'd order that again. These bread sticks are so good. And the veggies are the perfect balance. This location is conveniently located. Plenty of parking. They also have an awards program so make sure to download the app to take advantage of the points for free food. There's lots of wing shops but this is my favorite. If you've never tried it, you need to try. I'll be back read more

Had to come back on here and change my last review!! As mentioned, this is just a go to place!! Always loved everything we get, live the atmosphere, lately I felt like some of the quickness in getting food out, quality started to lack. Left a review sharing our experience, we went back last night... and omg!! look at these 2 comparisons. Thank you Epic for hearing your customers and making changes! We will be back again this weekend read more

Ordering is simple and easy, which is always nice. The wait for the food is usually pretty long, but once it finally comes out, it's worth it. The quality is really good and everything tastes delicious. The ranch and breadsticks pair really well with the meal too. Overall, even with the wait, the food makes it worth coming back. read more

I still believe that they are the best wings ever. I've been wings from then since 2003, when they were Wings & Things. I had traditional wings, my husband had the boneless strips They were also kind enough to customize my order, and ask for all flats and no drumsticks. read more

Cashier was very friendly, the food was good, and the restaurant was so loud. It's a sports place so it's on brand. We chose to sit on the patio but a large group of kids/parents showed up after us and took over the patio. If your cool with that atmosphere then it's a good place for food. We probably will pass next time. read more

Dude working the bar (it was loud during the 9ers eagles game) was fast and on point. I swear he said his name was Tofu like Whole Foods. Regardless he was great behind the beer and wine bar. $6 crafts $21 huge glass pitchers. $4 Coors light. Imma get my wigs naked/uncoated next time and drip into sauce since they don't feel cooked on. The patio is fairly big and dog friendly for sure. Like it a lot better than Bdubs down the street. They should offer mixed sauce for a 50 cent up charge so can get BBQ and Atomic on the same wing. Also garlic Parmesan honey bbq would interesting. Finally how about a marinara sauce for the bread sticks that taste almost identical to Oscar's? Yeah Oscar's bread sticks fans... Epic Wings own the new recipe I think. read more

It is incredibly hot in here, it seems like the air conditioning has been broken for over a month. please resolve ASAP!

Forgot my breadsticks THAT I PAID EXTRA FOR. I've worked fast food before it's not that hard to check the order before giving it out.

Brady at the cash register did a phenomenal job at customer service and seeking me as the customers needs he customized my meal to fit my demand, he wasn't acting like a AI robot at the register just taking my order he discovered what i needed. Went with a group of friends lastnight around 8-9 and we got some loaded fries which were cold for all of us, even the chicken was cold in the center but not like it wasn't cooked thoroughly, just as if the sauce was cold or the food wasn't warmed prior to dishing. Some friends got the rice bowls and said they were also cold. So that was kinda upsetting. read more

I didn't realize they put cheese on the fries so I asked if they could remake it. I got the remake after 30 mins and the fries had a weird rubbery plastic taste. At that point I asked the manager for a refund. He refused. I wish I would have originally just asked for a refund if they were going to half-effort re-make the food. My family bought 4 entrees and what did it for me was him suggesting I did something to the food. That felt very micro-aggressive, and prejudice. I tried to ask him to smell it (literally my whole family smelled this weird rubbery smell) it's ok to make mistakes but he refused to own it, and just kept making stuff up. Super disappointed I sat there for 45 mins for nothing. I truly wish I went somewhere else after work today! This was beyond frustrating read more

Very disappointing experience. I placed an order right when they opened in the morning and specifically asked for it to be ready at the same time as my mobile order at 2:45 PM. Apparently, their phone orders and mobile orders are not synced, which was never communicated upfront. I arrived 20 minutes early, paid for my phone order upon arrival, and was able to pick up my mobile order on time. However, the phone order was not ready at all, even though it had already been paid for. When I asked for an update and how much longer it would take, the employee, Natalie, responded by asking if I wanted a refund. That response was extremely unprofessional. Why would I pay for food, arrive early, and then cancel it? I needed the food--not a refund. This whole situation showed a serious lack of coordination and customer service. Clear communication and basic professionalism were missing. Unfortunately, this experience makes me hesitant to return. read more

Epic Wings is consistent with the quality of their chicken, veggies, and breadsticks. The medium Buffalo sauce is thick, slightly spicy, and creamy.. perfectly clinging onto the breading of the tender chicken and easily absorbed into the breadsticks. read more

Epic Wings - #1 - 4 tenders (medium Buffalo) - Chicken Wings Near Me - Santee, California

This is my go to Epic Wings place I go to and depending on what days you go it can get busy. They have plenty of seating inside, the restaurant is big. They have plenty of TV's to watch different sport games on. Their tables are always clean. My go to order is the 4 piece chicken tenders in either mild or medium sauce, which comes with 2 breadsticks and some celery and carrots. Normal 2 or 3 strips fill me up. The pieces can me big and usually I just save the rest for later or the next day. Their call in order for pick up is fast and organized as well as ordering in and seating down. For all the times I have been here I have always had great service but recently when I went the girl at the front counter was really rude and was very disrespectful when she spoke to me when I asked her a question or when I had a concern about one of my orders. She was not very nice. Im hoping that she was just having a bad day and I hope the next time I go in there it will be a different experience. read more

I'm really disappointed. I ordered an eight piece strips meal on line with mild sauce and then the comments asked for lemon pepper. There was barely any sauce. I called and spoke to the manager and she said next time she'll get the order right that the cooks sometimes get confused. We didn't even eat our lunch $26 down the drain usually it's great. I don't know what happened this particular time Wasn't happy after I talked to the manager. read more

They are so slow! You wait Forever for your food after ordering. I went last week, they told me 15 mins for my food and it turned into 45 mins. I wasn't the only one waiting a long time either. I heard other people at their tables talking amongst themselves about the long wait read more

I love ordering the garlic mild wings and my husband loves the chicken fries. We enjoying eating inside or outside depending on if we want a more quiet meal or watch a game. Awful customer service from the manager. Pickup my order, drove home to find out I got "hot" chicken instead of no sauce. Drove back and the manager gave me the correct chicken and threw away the wrong order in front of me. Fast food restaurants even let you keep the wrong order to accommodate for the inconvenience. The female manager that worked tonight couldn't care less and needs to improve her customer service. Unfortunately I will not be returning. read more

Great food, fast service, friendly staff, and lots of parking. Always a positive experience here.

Came in tonight. Spent over $100 on 6 meals. We dined in and it was a busy night. Some of the orders came out cold, and the sauces were incorrect on some of the meals. A gentleman named Joshua, not sure if he was the manager, offered to remake 2 of them, he asked what was ordered, we told him. When the remade orders came out, they were wrong again. We had ordered all drumsticks, these were wings and drums. Joshua told us he would not be remaking the order, so we asked for a refund and were told we could not get a copy of the return receipt. Just wanted to share this subpar experience, after coming to this location for years we won't be back. I'm not usually the type to write reviews but this was too off not to share. read more

Epic Wings - Receipt showing we ordered all drumettes - Chicken Wings Near Me - Santee, California

The place was alright. I see they're going for convenience by ordering up front and getting your food delivered to your table. But I personally think a waiter/waitress would be the better route. In terms of setup, the TVs were placed in odd areas in conjunction with tables. Wings are mid because they're drowned in sauce or too greasy to take ranch or Bleu cheese. Lots of areas to grow. read more

This place is consistently good. Chicken is hot, fresh and cooked perfectly. Not overly greasy which I love. Breadsticks are also always hot and fresh! Veggies are crisp and fresh. Love all of the sauces too. They have ample seating indoors and out and they have TVs everywhere. A bit loud but a fun, yummy place to dine! Some of the best chicken around. read more

You guys know by now I'm a big fan of Epic Wings N Things! I like it a lot better than Wing Stop or Buffalo Wild Wings. The taste is consistent and delicious across their many locations. I get Epic Wings at least once or twice a month. This Santee location in particular was really big, too bad there's no indoor dining at the moment. It was my first time here this past weekend. I got an order of their 6 piece wings with honey BBQ sauce (All Flats), it comes with two yummy breadstick and veggie sticks. I don't each much so this combo lasts me two meals.
