Yall im so sad, this use to be the spot in high school! Im afraid the quality isn't the same as it use to be. Granted these have been sitting for about an hour before eating but it's just not good. The chicken use to be like cut up chicken tenders, and these nuggets aren't cutting it. I also got breadsticks and they were hard as a rock, so disappointing cause they were my fav!

The best place for wings hands down the cook stayed past his shift just to make my fries, and the service is always spot on whenever I work in the area I always come and eat here.

The food was great, the restaurant was very clean. We decided to eat outside and it was very clean too, very good ambiance. They play great music, not too loud and not too soft Just right. Jasmine was great very helpful with helping me choose the flavor of my wings. She was super nice and attentive. We will definitely come again.

This place is now called Golden Dragon. Had the 5 piece wings, chipotle flavor. Came with fries, carrots and celery. Wings came slathered with more sauce than I prefer- I prefer a dry flavor but didn't see it. Wings were good, fries were a bit oversalted but that happens just about everywhere I order fries. Fries were hot and crunchy on the outside, just the right fluffy on the inside. Carrots and celery were cold and crisp, I can't stand soggy. Woman behind the counter was quite friendly, helpful, and attentive. Display menu was bright, colorful, and not overcrowded. There are colorful pictures of their Chinese entrees posted on what used to be the buffet station which I thought was a nice touch. All in all, thumbs up. I'll be back to try their entrees. BTW while I wrote this review I mowed down the rest of the fries! read more

They changed the place , they have Chinese food now, which is probably good . But they do still serve buffalo fries and I think they should stop because they're not good. Chicken dry , fries aren't cooked all the way. The sauce isn't even covering the chicken . This was the spot now it's not, should've walked out when I seen it had changed tbh. I won't be going back for Buffalo fries. The service was cool . I might try the Chinese food but it's pricey so idk . Definitely was a waste of money . read more

Been getting buffalo fries my entire life, I will say this is the worst tray of buffalo fries I've ever eaten. The chicken was dry and inedible, fries were meh and soft. Chicken tasted like it was sitting out for hours and just got reheated. I'm not a snobby person, but I know I won't be going to this location ever again. How can you mess up buffalo fries? Plus I don't think the "regular" size has always been this small?? read more

The service is kind and friendly . They speak English and Spanish ,which is amazing . The soda,they had a few out I service . They had menus up and good advertisement for their menu Lots of tv with sports game .. I ordered a small buffalo Chicken fries.i was confused because on the mobile app it asked what suave I wanted d? Thought I'd visit a chicken spot that I had never been to in La Mesa. I'm new to area and was finding eateries to visit. First impressions are usually a must at all times. First, although petty, online times say they are open, I arrive and see that I have to wait 30 minutes, being my first time, I did. Second, I ordered the buffalo chicken and asked for a sugar free drink, she said they had Pepsi Zero, so I paid for the drink and she brought me a Diet Pepsi; not the same tasting drink - yuck! 3rd and most annoying: while waiting for food, I needed to use the restroom and was told it was out of order due to plumbing issues! OMG an all around bust. The chicken I ordered although was good, but had to take to go for obvious reasons. I won't be returning. read more

Really enjoyed our meal here. The tenders were fresh and crispy, and the service was fast. We had a little bit of a custom order that they accommodated without issue. The service is good, I tried this place twice before posting this review, the first time they got my order wrong but they were friendly both times. But honestly This place is too expensive to be serving pre-portioned frozen foods and not at least be heating them properly. Mac and cheese was cold and hard couldn't even take more than two bites. The jalapeño poppers they were lukewarm at best but smelled like freezer burn at least the wings were good nothing special though. As for the ambiance I can't really say it was only me there both times and one time the cook even came out after he finished my food to watch the tv. read more

Under new management and you can tell. The food here sucks. After a long day I called here to order food for my family. I ordered 30 pieces medium buffalo tender it came with a large order of buffalo chicken fries and a 9 breadsticks. The order came out to almost 80 dollars and I left a 15 percent tip on top of that to just support a family owned business. The sauce was so bland no spice to it at all. The breadsticks were hard as if they sat out the whole day and they only give you one tub of blue cheese sauce that doesn't even taste like blue cheese. I'm so mad because I even asked for an extra sauce and they charged me for it. I ordered 30 tenders how is one sauce enough? Needless to say I won't be coming back here.. which sucks because they used to actually be good. read more

This particular establishment is the Worst Wing Place to Order from in All of San Diego. If I was able to give a Zero they would of received one. Counter Girl was very Unprofessional & was placing her cell phone where food was being served. Got home & the Mac & Cheese is out of a Kraft Mac & Cheese Box. I ordered the chipotle buffalo fries and 4pc garlic parmesan chicken tenders. It tasted average, not the best, but also not the worst. The tenders were a little flavorless, but the buffalo fries were very saucy. When I called to place my order through the phone, the worker talking to me was rude and rushing me. I could barely get my full order in before they started to ask for my name and pick up details. I went to pick up my order after 15 minutes (mind you this is the time they told me it would be finished) and it still wasn't done yet. I had to wait another 10 minutes before I finally got my food. 10/10 the service is incredible and the quality of the food is amazing. Angelina the cashier who always helps me out and super friendly and attentive told me this store is under new management and it looks cleaner and has upgraded a lot of its amenities such as added 4 flat screen TVs and also perfected their menu by making old traditional items better. They also renovated their outdoor patio by adding a HUGE 80inch flat screen outside and LED lights. I'm a fan of the wings and since the arrival of the new management they have doubled in size and remained the same price as well as new things have been added to the menu such as Boba and their California chicken burrito. An average wings place that I've been to a few times because of the Groupon deals they offered. Formerly New York Wings and Ribs. They still have ribs I think, just haven't tried them in over 5 years, pre-Yelp days. Decent, but not at all special in any way. We've ordered the buffalo chicken fries, boneless and bone-in wings and breadsticks. With Dirty Birds and Epic Wings n Things just down the road, they don't quite measure up. The buffalo fries have been the best choice so far. We thought the hot sauce had a slight aftertaste that was hard to pinpoint. Actually, after trying several, all the sauces are slightly weird. I've even asked for tastes just to try before I commit. I believe in this theory in all phases of life, when possible. We've tried many flavors over the last 5-6 visits and it seems maybe they make their own sauces - the mixtures could be off. Also, it was perfectly fine to order anything off the menu before for your Groupon deal, but now they force you to buy wings only. Like I mentioned, the fries are the best option. My wife and kid actually prefer the buffalo fries here over Wings n Things. How could that be? Well, let's just say it's a good thing they're not writing reviews.. read more

Stopped in today to get dinner for the kids. I purchased the $20 Groupon. Superb bargain. We ordered the 20 piece half honey bbq and mild sauce with veggies as well as dipping sauce for $22. Medium seasoned fries $3.49. No breadsticks!!! I saw the breadsticks once again sitting under the heat. Not fresh out of the oven. So we will pass. The wings were great. Fresh, hot and caked with flavor. The French fries were crispy, hot and well seasoned. Perfect week night, mom doesn't have time to cook dinner. Next time, I will do a phone in order since it 20 minutes to get our order. I forgot this place charges an extra $.35 to use your credit card. That and the dry, hard breadsticks explains why I haven't been here in over 10 minutes. read more

Good tasting salt and pepper wings! Garlic Parmesan didn't have the zing but somewhat tasty...wouldn't order again. Only thing to call out for improvement next time is more than one tub of dipping sauce is needed for 10 wings! Also, only two small pieces of carrots and celery? Come on! Mediocre establishment. Buffalo fries are never consistent. Sometimes more chicken than fries, less chicken more fries or less of both. It's hard to justify the price of it. Owner and cooks need to work on that read more

The restaurant used thin rice noodles, but it didn't clump excessively compared to other restaurants. The prices are what you'd typically see at a Pan-Asian restaurant, a few dollars more than what you'd want to spend. But these kinds of restaurants, in my opinion, are for enjoying with others. So, if you're sharing food and all that-- the price is worth it (esp with the quantity that is given). Next time, I would probably order one of their noodle dishes rather than rice. I have gone here a couple of times and they have been pleasant when i ordered, the food was really hot and tasty. The service was attentive and my order was correct and even if one thing was wrong, they gladly fixed the issue very nicely. The portions were well worth it and I was happy, because I had a hornful to eat. The sauces were great because my son never stopped eating, and was very happy that the Mango chicken fries were the Bomb. I wish they delivered, but I'm going online to find someone who will deliver their food. I even spoke with the owner one day and he was a very reasonable Guy.
