I've driven by this place a few times on my way to work and finally decided to stop in. The owner was super cool and gave great customer service. Being our first time here, we were warmly greeted and the menu was explained to us. The menu has plenty to choose from, but we came specifically for the Original Philly Steak. I've never had lettuce or tomato on a Philly before, but it was actually a nice touch! The onions added flavor, though I would've loved a bit more seasoning and maybe some peppers for that full Philly vibe. For the price I had hope for more in terms of flavor and juiciness of the meat. The cheese was good and had a great melt but it wasn't enough to add to moistness of sandwich. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to ask customers if they'd like mayo or a house sauce on their sandwich or on the side since the bread is quite hearty. The fries were definitely a highlight -- fresh, crispy, and cooked to order. I did not enjoy my food. I told my husband I wanted a Philly and if we could get it while out running errands, this is where we ended up. My food wasn't good as it lacked flavor. The meat wasn't seasoned well. Also, not enough mayo or toppings. Inside is chill, not a large space but you can dine in. We took to go. Phenomenal!!! I am not a fan of Philly cheese steaks, but when I saw that they had a Pastrami Philly, I HAD to try it (I'm from LA so you know what's up). That thing was tasty! The Pastrami Philly is like the classic Philly cheesesteak with all of the toppings just made with a different meat. The meat was savory. The bread was warm and fresh. Ambiance-wise: the vibes here are pretty old school in a good way with their decor and assortment of movie pictures and artists. Service-wise: I haven't had a bad experience here in terms of my interactions with the workers, long waits, or blown orders. The owner has always been really cool and makes good conversation. Last time I was here, the owner was telling my about their sandwich challenge which was super intriguing so I may give it a shot soon if it's still a thing. Food-wise: Portions here are pretty large per order. I really like the Philly cheesesteak here even if it doesn't stack up to those from Philly. They have other options for sandwiches but I personally have not ordered them yet. My usual is the Philly cheese with the works, steak fries, and a soda and I oftentimes find it difficult to stray from that when I make the trip here because it is a solid no-frills about it combo. In summary: I come back here a decent amount and always leave satisfied, so I definitely recommend anyone to give it try. I first tried it a month ago and I've already been back a handful of times. I used the online ordering system only and it's been flawless every time. So far I've only tried the steak works hot sandwich and I'll probably try it a few dozen more times before moving on.
