I visited on Tuesday, March 17th at around 1:45 PM. Unfortunately, my first impression was not a good one due to the interaction at the counter. When I asked for a cup of ice, the employee responded in a rude tone, saying, "Do you have a cup? I told you a can comes with the combo." A simple "No, I'm sorry" would have been much more appropriate. I then asked for Cajun fries, and instead of just taking the order, he corrected my pronunciation, even though it was clear what I meant. That interaction felt unnecessary and dismissive. As for the food, it was very bland. I had to add salt and pepper to my Philly cheesesteak, which shouldn't be necessary for a well-made sandwich. The best part of the meal was honestly the canned iced tea; the fries were boring. Overall, when an employee has an attitude over simple questions, it makes the experience unpleasant and makes me unlikely to return. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect basic courtesy. read more

I was able to get a Philly cheesesteak and Philly fries. This place is Brand new and is located right next to the main entrance by Walmart. The owner was on site and his really cool they wrap up the sandwiches really tight so they don't get all messed up when you take them to go. Are the prices are very reasonable and then food is a high-quality just something to break away from the traditional hamburger all the time and place gotcha covered. This place is hidden within the malls food court but easy to find. I always order their chicken tenders, which come out very fresh, not overcooked and non greasy:)) Surprisingly, their tenders are very good! I would even compare them to Texas Roadhouse quality, but smaller. Customer service was great. Guy who runs business, was very kind. Area over all was quiet and non noisy. 9/22/23 - went in there around 2pm. No line. Ordered the $9.99 Philly Cheesesteak. Very friendly customer service. 1 star. I had the order for dine in and the order took just 7 minutes to cook. 2 stars. It was a good size item and had some flavor. I would prefer more meat on it and less cheese. Overall 3 stars. A person at another table had the fries which looked great. Will try the fries next time. It did look like the photo but with less meat. See photos. The meat was cut up very small. Ab's Philly Steak is a MUST-HAVE. Every time I visit the mall, I find myself wanting a chicken philly because it never disappoints! The quality of each sandwich is consistent with the last. The customization options, down to the very seasoning that goes on your fries, allows the customer to customize their meal to their liking. Service is phenomenal and quick, despite weekend business. Kitchen and ordering area are clean and well-kept. Only thing I miss is the tv they used to have at their old storefront! I have been going to Ab's for my sandwich needs since they first started out across from the Walmart. They have now moved to the food court further inside the mall after Walmart's closure and have expanded their team AND their menu. It warms my heart to see their growth. Usually don't leave many reviews, but this place warrants a review. Wanted an easy dinner after work and been craving a cheese steak recently. Checked yelp and saw this was close by. I went in and shockingly I was the only customer in there. I got the Philly cheese steak combo and a six piece wing and I will be going back. The garlic Parmesan wings were delicious and perfectly crispy but still Juicy. The cheese steak was super tasty, and no particular thing was overpowering everything. The fries that they offered to season, for no extra charge was a nice side with everything. The service was excellent, and everything was cooked fresh to order. This is a wonderful place to grab delicious chicken Philly cheesesteaks. You'd be hard-pressed to find a meaner Philly Cheesesteak in the area, and maybe beyond. The very kind and modest woman at the counter was intelligent and engaging and shared much information with me as to the quality of their offerings. Her suggestions were perfect! As I noticed the prices were low, I must comment that these aren't monsters; so, I ended up going one step further and ordered double meat chicken Phillies and fries for each member of my team who was working for me in our Gillespie Field hangar. There wasn't a peep from anyone once the eating began - they were hungry and this stuff was satisfying. Once the food was done, everyone raved and asked where they could get more.
