I love the food from here, everything was so fresh and delicious. I ordered the beef and chicken shawarma bowl, which came with rice, tabouli, hummus, sauce, and came with a side of pita bread. It was a good-sized portion, but the flavors make me want more. We also ordered their Waygu beef cheesesteak sandwich with fries, the sandwich was thick and very gooey. It tasted amazing and could be enough for two people. The service was quick and easy, and this location was pretty clean inside.
Not that good. I got the chicken cream chop wrap and chicken shawarma wrap and I don't recommend either. Cream chop wrap broke up on me half way through and chicken shawarma wrap was 50% bread and 50% meat and practically nothing else. I have pictures
So came here for the first time to give it a try it was very good I got the chicken shawarma Bowl the rice was good the chicken shawarma was okay not very much I was kind of surprised by the small amount of meat they gave but it was good enjoyed the garlic paste and hummus was delicious the pita was also good but the rock star which I would go in and just order that was the wagyu Shawarma egg roll that was absolutely delicious with a capital D I would go in there just for that it's only two egg rolls it's $12 a little pricey but it was quite filling the servicer is great there's a nice young man who helped me out I didn't get his name but he was really nice very friendly would I go back here yes indeed but I'll try the beef Shawarma next time.
Shawarma Guys is so good. I tried it this weekend and it was the perfect pickup spot for our group hangout. The food truck in South Park serves amazing food -- fresh, flavorful, and generous portions for the price. We had the falafel, the chicken/beef wagyu plate, the Greek salad, and the wagyu beef egg rolls. Everything was delicious. The plate comes with hummus, tabbouleh, and yellow basmati rice, and it's honestly perfect for two people to share. If South Park isn't convenient, they also have restaurant locations in La Mesa and Mira Mesa, so you can check out whichever one is closest to you. A great spot for anyone craving bold, tasty Mediterranean food.
Easily my favorite spot for beef shawarma: it's flavorful and tender. The chicken shawarma fries are packed with protein and fries. I always treat myself to the egg rolls, but the real standout is Bryan's way pita sandwiches. Portions are big and super filling. There are community tables, but I usually prefer to take it to go.
The food was simply outstanding - tasty, freshly made and savory. Beef shawarma was the best followed by the chicken shawarma. The rice, humus and pita perfectly complemented together. I can see why they were voted #1 in Yelp. The staff were welcoming and made helpful suggestions. The ambiance was casual, airy and comfortable. Highly recommended!
We arrived on a busy weeknight to dine as a family. We were greeted by a nice young lady at the front counter. She smiled and was very helpful with us deciding our order. This location is in a busy shopping strip mall where Sprouts also is. There are so many people coming here to eat. The seating layout is very challenging. The tables are perpendicular to the walls and they are close together. On a busy night, it is very challenging to sit together with your family without forcing others to move aside or change their seating. We ordered: 1 Chicken & Wagyu Beef Shawarma Bowl, 1 Chicken & Wagyu Beef Shawarma Plate, and a Wagyu Beef Plate, plus 3 fountain drinks. Because of the challenging seating layout and busy dining time, we started sitting against the wall cramped next to a party of 2. Once another party left their dining table, we were able to move to the empty table to done together as a family. Our food came out after about 12-15 minutes. It was hot and freshly prepared. The staff here is so customer service friendly and we absolutely love their food. I like that they have the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives playing on the TV in the restaurant. It's the episode with Shawarma Guys founder cooking and owner and Guy Fieri tasting the cooked food and loving it! Shawarma Guys is so good and we have been going to them since their original South Park Truck days. Love it!
To start off, I would like to say that the service was OK. The ambiance was OK but the main concern is the food which is also OK but not something that I will go back to especially the fact that they don't mention the fact that there are certain things that can cause allergies. I could have died.
The space felt a bit empty for dine-in, as most of the traffic was from takeout and delivery orders rather than people eating inside. We came to try the new crispy pita sandwich as seen on social media, and it was just okay. The pita had a nice crunch, but the flavors were overpowered by the pickles, making the sandwich taste overly sour. The portions were also on the smaller side, so it didn't feel like the best value. The combo came with noticeably more rice than meat, which was a bit disappointing. On top of that, sauces are an extra charge, and they didn't really add much in terms of flavor. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it didn't quite live up to the hype.
This is the best shawarma hands down! They seriously need to open one in North County. We heard of this place and initially came for an event and then came back because it's so good. Order at the front, find a seat. I got the bowl, half and half (beef and chicken). They use quality Wagyu beef as it was not chewy. Super tender. The chicken was good too. The spices/seasoning on the meats were delicious. So much flavor!!! Kids eat free with an entree purchase of a certain price or more. The kids bowl came out pretty plentiful too. Their plates are good too, and they add all the stuff to it like hummus, tabouli, basmati rice and garlic paste with pita bread without extra costs. Really wish they had one in San Marcos! Great for lunch and dinner. They also have family sizes.

First time trying this place and with the amount of topping that was on the fries the fries still had a good amount of crunch to it. Love the flavor I did not like any of their hot sauces.

My first time going to Shawarma Guys and I was not disappointed! The young woman who took my order was so knowledgeable about the food and helped me decide what to order. I believe her name was Muka and her customer service was great ! I ended up ordering the chicken Shawarma wrap Bryan's way and it was absolutely delicious! The next time I go, I will bring more people to share the yumminess. read more
The food here was amazing! Everything was so fresh and delicious. I had been here once before for an event, I really liked their Waygu cheesesteak sandwich. Their beef bowls are pretty good too. We ordered online for pickup, everything was quick and easy, I received my order without any issues. I can't wait to come by and try the other items on the menu. read more

We ordered one chicken shawarma pita and two beef shawarma pitas, all made "Bryan's way." While the food initially tasted good, the aftermath was awful. Within hours, we ended up with severe stomach aches and nonstop runs. It honestly felt like food poisoning -- thankfully no vomiting, but still completely miserable. This was enough to put us off for good. Taste doesn't matter if the food makes you sick. Never again. read more
I got the chicken and beef plate. I enjoyed the chicken a lot. The beef was a little on the sweet side for me. The rice was really good. I got this as a to go order but the inside was clean and the service was very fast for such a large order. read more
First time I've tried Shawarma guys. I've heard great reviews from friends and stumbled upon it today and knew I had to try it. First off, service was great. The cashier was friendly and hooked us up on the sauces which I always appreciate. Restaurant was clean, and had about a classroom full of seating. I got the beef and chicken shawarma plate, around $20. I swear, at first when I ate it I thought it was good. Not great. Then I waited a few hours, got the munchies, reheated it and I swear letting the flavors settle a little bit made a good meal into a life changing late munchies meal. I'll will absolutely be back. Absolutely incredible cheesesteak that would rival most in Philadelphia. I wish I lived near here because I would try everything on their menu. One thing that stood out is that the food was still piping hot 20 min later when I got back to where I was staying. I can't wait to come back! read more

Went here to try out a newer place in Mira Mesa. The location is nice, with a lot of parking and close to a lot of other businesses. The restaurant isn't huge but has enough seating. They're have a whole wall of different craft sodas at the front but no fountain drinks. There was also a gelato stand in the front but I didn't see anything in it. When you go in you can order in person or on the kiosk. The service was fine for what they had to do, bring your food out, answer questions, get you sauces or waters but nothing amazing and wouldn't expect anything more. The food was pretty good but I wasn't blown away by it. The portions were a good size but I felt like the meats were a little dry and I wish they offered more sauce for free- I think you can pay for more. The fries were good but some were a little soggy especially in the middle and it only had the sauce that was drizzled on top. The Wagyu beef was more flavorful in my opinion and the rice on the plate was really delicious. I also liked that it came with tabouli vs a regular side salad. I got the lemon garlic sauce with the beef plate and the sauce was so good and added a really nice freshness to the plate. Again I wish they gave you more of those sauces. The menu is so expansive, including things like wraps, cheesesteaks, and even egg rolls. Wish I could've tried one of those too but I was way too full after my plate. I'll have to go back to try something else next time! read more

Shawarma Guys is SO GOOD! Wow. It's been a while since I tried the food truck in South Park. It's great to see that they've expanded and are making some excellent food. The food is so flavorful and the portions are huge! I enjoyed a delicious chicken shawarma bowl. I appreciated that they were willing to make modifications. I don't like parsley, so I didn't want the tabbouli. Instead, they gave me all hummus. The meat was so tender and all the flavors were popping. I really loved the sauce drizzled on top of the bowl. I love that they also make eggrolls with the shawarma meat. I had a chicken egg roll, which was fun. Food was so excellent! Parking is accessible. It's an absolute must spot! read more

I've been to this location over 15 times. The last few times, the food quality has been a little less. Food coming cold, not fully cooked, etc. Unfortunately, today my order of fries was excessively small. If I'm ordering a whole order of fries, I expect the cup to be filled and not have the bottom of the fry barrel. With prices as they are, I would expect to get a full order. Customer service is always great. I would suggest that they let people know about their healthcare worker discount or offer it if they are in healthcare attire. Two times ago, I came, and I was in full scrubs with a hospital badge, and I paid. When I got home and looked at the receipt, I realized they didn't give it to me. So I always make sure to ask. Edit: Reached out and provided excellent customer service. I do want to stress that over all the food is great. I go there so often because I love it. I will edit/ write an updated review after my next visit. read more

The place is amazing. The food is so good and the portion sizes are so big that I was able to make almost 3 meals out of it. The rice is so flavorful and the meat is juicy and full of flavor. The egg rolls are delicious but definitely need to be eaten while hot. The service was okay, we weren't greeted when we came in and the girls up front were on their phones but they were nice when we got our food. There is plenty of seating inside but it is very close to each other. read more

I've been wanting to try this place since they opened. Met my family here one day. I was that hungry but I nibbled on everything we ordered. We ordered a variety of items. Sour: wagyu egg rolls - I've been wanting to try it. I wouldn't necessarily say it was a complete sour. It was good. My only feedback is that I wish it was crispier. It would take it to the next level as it is filled with lots of flavor. They drizzled sauce on top but I wish there were more of a creamier sauce we can dip it in. Sweet: We also ordered the wagyu beef and chicken plate and wagyu beef cheesesteak. Overall I would say it was pretty tasty. My favorite is all the different soda bottle options they offer. read more

The food here was great! I found out about this place through an foodie influencer on Instagram. What got me was there wagyu beef shawarma cheesesteak! I ordered two of em; one for me and one for my coworker. I went with my mom and my service dog and ordered inside. The wait wasn't that long. It was about 10 to 12 minutes. The staff was really nice and I love how clean the restaurant was! It's a pretty small restaurant inside! Great beer selection & I think they also had hard kombucha too! And of course they have the regular nonalcoholic drinks. I took mine home to eat; I ate half that night and the rest for lunch the following morning. The portion size of the cheesesteak was good. The flavors were immaculate! It was cheesy, meaty, spicy, just perfection! I will come back here again and again! I want to try the other items on the menu, but the cheesesteak was literally perfection. read more

The wagyu shawarma eggrolls are such a good deal (2 for $11) because each one is very generously stuffed with super tender wagyu beef, caramelized onions, and cheese. The wagyu beef in the egg rolls is actually fattier and more obviously wagyu than the beef that is in the bowls. Don't skip this! We tried the wagyu beef shawarma as well as the mixed wagyu beef and chicken shawarma bowls ($15). They need to buy smaller takeout bowls because initially we thought we were getting fleeced, the bowl was half empty! But we got SO full by the end of the meal so it was a visual trick & there was actually a lot of food. The beef tasted like normal beef (good, but nothing that would make it stand out as wagyu the way the beef in the egg rolls tasted). The restaurant was interestingly somewhat sterile in decor. Service was quick (we did takeout), and there were plenty of parking spaces in the free shopping center lot. read more

Shawarma guys!! I love a good shawarma. Line moves fast here. Had a big order and food came out pretty quick Chicken shawarma fries. Got too soggy. Don't think I'll order this again Chicken and beef plate. Quality of meat is great. The rice was light. Airy cooked perfectly. Just didn't care for their sauces at all. Portions were really big. Overall was a decent meal. But I saw one of the cooks warm up a dressing. And pour it hot straight into a plastic sauce container. That's a big no no for me. I don't know which sauce it was. But I don't like doing that to plastic. read more
