Dropped by for take-out on a packed Friday evening! My boyfriend and I waited about 25 minutes for our food to come out, which wasn't the worst considering the crowd. We luckily didn't ran into any problems ourselves, but it was alarming to watch a bunch of people from multiple orders return to the counter to ask about forgotten/mistaken/neglected items. It was also inconveniently confusing to fill my fountain soda: the soda fountain, the lids, and straws are all on completely different locations on the counter. We sat by the soda fountain while we were waiting for our food, and even helped direct a few other people to the straws/lids across the room when they looked lost. The garlic parmesan wings were good but not my favorite: well-cooked, but way too much sauce/seasoning for me. However, the buffalo chicken fries were awesome! We got a mini-sized fries (w/ medium buffalo sauce) to share between us, and I was totally addicted. Wasn't overly spicy for me, and had just the right amount of heat. I had a Groupon, so my boyfriend and I checked this place out for lunch. We split the pulled pork fries, an order of garlic parmesan wings, and the jalapeno poppers. The poppers were pretty much the usual, not bad but nothing special. The wings were just okay as well. Great sauce but a bit chewy in texture. It's really not much to look at inside or out, but they do a small amount of seating both indoor and outside in the patio. The business itself has never been busy when we have come by here so we've never had to wait long for takeout. There's plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. I have been interested in checking this place out since my wife started working close by in January and I finally got a chance to check this place out yesterday. I ordered 15 wings with "hot" buffalo sauce as well as 6 breadsticks. I arrived and the staff was pleasant and friendly. There was a bit of a smell of what I could only describe as "dirty mop water" when I came inside. (That should have been a huge red flag to me). I took the order to go and drive back to my house in Chula Vista to enjoy. Well, I opened the wings and noticed that they were what I would consider "very undercooked". The wing sauce was like a cheap imitation of "Frank's Hot Sauce" and it looked like the wings just had the hot sauce poured on top of them. I had to continue cooking the wings in an oven to make sure they were completely done as the outside was rubbery and definitely not "done". I will say that the breadsticks were good. Would I go there again. No. I did see that there were plenty of folks coming in and out ordering the Buffalo Fries so those must be one of their bigger sellers.
