With another bbq place the abruptly closed down recently I'm probably eating here more frequently now. But consistency is key (with the exception they don't do the sweet potatoes anymore ). But, everything else is & has been perfect! Service fast & it's a great place with most sports games on if you want to eat and watch a few. Clean always and the beef ribs which are Sundays only are the best - period!!

Amazing! I'm so glad Yelp suggested this place. Easy parking, welcoming environment and delicious food! Porsha greeted us and explained the menu. I ordered pork ribs and two sides (mac and cheese and greens). Hubby got two types of wings (buffalo and bbq), potato salad and greens. I also got a pumpkin cake and sweet potato pie to go. Everything was flavorful and perfect. I'll be back!

Came to try this I QUE BBQ . Upon entering we were greeted right away by all the staff, it's such a very welcoming place. I went straight to get a table and let my husband order for us. He ordered the following . *BEEF RIBS *BURNT END *HOT LINKS *PORK RIBS *BRISKET *Sides of POTATO SALAD, CORN BREAD, BAKED BEANS, MAC & CHEESE, and 3 waters. All the meats we tried were all tender and delicious. We were given 2 different sauces, one smokey sauce and one Tangy & sweet sauce. I was so impressed with their Ribs, so tender and delicious. I think we either got a good batch or that's just how their ribs are there, 'coz we had very Big ones! I also enjoyed their Corn bread, we were the last one who ordered it for the day and they were near closing time so we got their last Corn bread and the last one was a big Chuck of Cornbread ! But I hope they also have Jalapeno Cornbread. 5 minutes to closing time a man went around the tables and gave everyone their dessert, I guess instead of throwing them they give it away so it doesn't go to waste. The man or the owner gave my son cookies and cake and gave some to the other tables too. The food here is delicious, the place is clean and most of all I feel that the Staff and the couple who were the owners that were present treat their customers as their Family, you can really feel the love in their food they serve and their customers.

My partner and I ordered takeout from here today and they were quick and friendly! We placed an order on the phone for two sandwiches and it was only about a ten minute wait. Sandwiches come with chips automatically, but I highly recommend upgrading to the fries! Their fries are crinkle cut and very crispy on the outside yet not dry on the inside. They're well seasoned too. What we ordered: The SWAT burger- it was a fairly large burger, and it was cooked nicely. Not too dry or anything. Note: it didn't come with cheese:( Just a heads up for others that you have to ask for cheese. The brisket burnt ends sandwich- it was tender and saucy!

This is the best bbq in town - seriously. It's got that home-cooked flavor. Ribs are tender and meaty and the brisket is A+...smoky and falling apart. Beans have rich bbq taste, collard greens aren't messing around, and Mac n cheese has a little crispy cheese edge. We just love this place!

This was my first visit to this restaurant. It is unclear whether its typical state, but the establishment is situated within a strip mall that houses approximately seven or eight businesses. Parking was notably challenging, requiring a wait to secure a space. Although this may be related to being Mother's Day, it is important to be aware of the difficulty in finding parking. Upon entering the establishment, the owner promptly attended to me, taking my order and answering my questions regarding the collard greens and baked beans. I ordered the beef ribs, which are only available on Sundays and served with a Carolina-style barbecue sauce, along with a side of potato salad, collard greens, a slice of pistachio cake, and peach cobbler. Overall, the quality of the food was satisfactory. The ribs possessed a pleasant smoky flavor and adequate meat content. In my opinion, the potato salad could benefit from the addition of relish, garlic powder, and onion powder. The collard greens would be improved with crushed red peppers and a touch of salt. As for the peach cobbler, it is not my preferred dessert; however, it was prepared in a traditional layered manner, using filo dough.

Words cannot begin to describe the satisfaction that my family and I felt eating here. I actually thought I had experienced good bbq before coming here. Then I came here and realized this was another level. Their portion sizes are great, prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. We had the brisket burnt ends, collard greens, fries, baked beans, chopped chicken, beef ribs, cornbread, Mac and cheese, and even a grilled cheese. We literally have no complaints and nothing but REALLY good things to say about this place. Best bbq that we've had in San Diego. Must try! Also - kid approved by my picky 8 year old and 13 year old.

Heard about this place from Gareth Eats and Marvelous Muncher, they did not lead me astray! My wife and kid can be pretty picky. For the amount of food we ordered, we would usually have leftover, but we finished the whole thing! * 2 lbs of chicken - so juicy, great taste, especially with that BBQ sauce. My wife usually complains that BBQ is so salty, or too vinegary, not this time. She loved it! * Mac and cheese - Creamy! Cheesy! Good! * Coleslaw - fresh, I think there's a light vinaigrette. I usually like mayo on mine, but I can see how this pairs better with the rest of the food. * Potato Salad - solid, not too salty as well. Just right! * Beans and Rice - I think I should've gone large on this one. So good! * Peach Cobbler - legit. Warm. Peachy. Cobblery. * Sweet Potato Pie - I was surprised, because I usually am not a fan of sweet potato. Tasty, not too sweet! Mr. Coop checked in with us once in a while to make sure we're all good, stopped by and gave me a sample of the bacon. Sweet, real tasty! I'm excited to come back and try the ribs and brisket! We did not have a reservation, so we stood outside in the sun for about 30 minutes or so waiting for a table that could accommodate 8 people. I didn't plan the event myself, so I don't know if they even take reservations. If they do, then that's our fault. It is an open air concept, so it's very hot in the restaurant. You sit on hard chairs with a bicycle under the table that limits leg room. There is no shortage of hillbilly music to listen too as you dine on the ill seasoned subpar food. The beer menu sucks. Thankfully I didn't need to use the restroom. Who knows what I would have encountered there. The only positive thing I can think of is that the employees are friendly and accommodating. I would not recommend this place to anyone, nor would I return. If the restaurant offered to pay for a meal with drinks for our family, I still would not return.

But it's softballs, not baseballs. Service is legit. Fast, friendly. They're like get in, order, get out. But we stayed for probably an hour and a half. The live music was great, not too loud. I am sad to confess the food here is not as legit as I figured based on being a San Diego local and a big DDD watcher. It probably depends on which day you come, but on Thursday, the brisket was so average. Del's in Del Cerro is better. Smoky and the Brisket is better. I had my brisket served with that nacho cheese and relish, not nearly as great as I thought it would be based on DDD. I also don't drink anymore, but if I were to have had 2-3 beers + this dinner + the enviornment I would have loved it. My son gave a huge thumbs up to his burger, daughter liked her food. If you want an experience, have time you need to kill and have kids, it's a solid spot, but in no way is this a destination if you live west of the 15. Stick to classic spots.

Pork baby back ribs were tender and had a smoky aroma and flavor from the white oak.  Dry rub gave the ribs a bit of sweetness from the brown sugar and some spice from the black pepper.  Very tasty.
