(4.5/5) Tried Epic Wings recently and honestly, it's one of the better wing spots I've been to in a while I ordered the classic buffalo wings with fries, and everything came out hot and fresh, which already puts them ahead of a lot of places. The wings were a really good size--not tiny--and cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The buffalo sauce had a nice kick to it without being overwhelming, so you can actually enjoy the flavor instead of just burning your mouth off. The fries were also solid--crispy, well-seasoned, and not greasy. You can tell they actually care about how their food comes out, not just throwing stuff together. I also tried their ranch, and it was really good (definitely needed more though, they don't give a ton ). The service was quick and smooth. Staff seemed chill and didn't take long to get the order out, even though it was a bit busy when I went. The place itself had a relaxed, casual vibe--good for just hanging out or grabbing food with friends. Only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is because I wish the portion of sides/sauces was a little bigger, especially for the price. But overall, the quality of the food definitely makes up for it. I'm a huge fan of this Epic Wings location! I've tried the one in CV...and this one is better! Customer service here is also better. Quetzaly was very friendly. I ordered for takeout: -family 24pc chiken wings, ranch garlic parm lemon pepper 8 bread sticks medium carrots and celery You can get up to 3 flavors...and total was $43. Overall value was pretty good. I also added a combo epic fries for $12.95 I'm not completely sure if there are a la carte orders for just wings...it seems like only combos availablebut not sure. I'm only giving four stars because of the one young man that was very polite to us from the minute we walked in the female that was there didn't even smile and almost felt like she gave me a dirty look when I walked in. I do have to say this branch has to do something about the smell in there when you walk in it smells like sewer so bad it almost made me turn around because it made me Not want to eat there. Great for the price! You can order online and choir rewards program. I got a free bday gift of their epic fries which were bomb and huge! Shared with my man otherwise I'd have leftovers. Inside there's plenty of seatings and self-serve fountain drinks. Classic wings here. I love their breadsticks. Do you know how people ask you, if you moved out of San Diego, what would you miss eating? Well, epic wings is easily one of the places that comes to mind! I have literally been eating at epic wings for the past 25 to 30 years or so. Back when they were called wings and things. I can say this, there chicken tenderloin strips have remained consistently outstanding the entire time. This place only uses fresh, never frozen chicken and they lightly batter and fry it to order so it's always hot, fresh, about tender and juicy and their sauces are all homemade and out of this world too! I LOVE epic wings! Any questions I had about the pizza sticks, wing flavors, and other new things on the menu I haven't tried before were answered. I definitely appreciate that, when I called in my order, I didn't have to wait on hold and when I arrived I only waited 10mins and my food was ready. I love that! 2 stars because the chicken was okay but really tasted like friend chicken wings soaked in hot sauce. I ordered the 6pc wing meal and didn't finish it. It didn't taste as good as I remember. The garlic bread felt too soft, almost soggy, but they tasted fine. The restaurant was clean and the staff were nice. They took my order, my name, and told me it would be about 15 minutes. Typical hot wing franchise but staff was very friendly and food came out fairly quick after ordering. We only came to support since my son's football league was fundraising at this location. We ordered 3 single meal plates and was able to choose 2 different flavors for each meal but they weren't able to toss them so they had to be naked wings and they give you the sauces on the side. I eat super spicy so the atomic hot and extra spicy/hot buffalo sauces are pretty spicy so don't attempt if you can't handle heat. read more

She didn't properly handed the Order to me and she placed it in the counter (before the pickup order sign). She didn't give me any utensils until I asked for it. This is the best Epic Wings in San Diego. Everyone is always friendly and the food tastes the best. A couple of months ago a sketchy looking Caucasian man came in there and he kept staring at me and my wife. He smelled really offensive so I almost lost my temper. The cooks at the end of there shifts drink at the starbucks parking lot and leave beer bottles and bottle caps everywhere. No matter what you say you cant ever get more of the garlic parm creamy sauce on your order. If u order "extra" u get this oily greasy butter with mayb some garlic/parm. I cant believe no 1 else even notices /or has commented abt this. Normally their honey bbq sauce is good but today it tasted like tomato paste. I usually have to get him a side of extra sauce for dipping his chicken and breadsticks, because he's a bit of a fiend for that sauce. No complaints about the food, just the stank face teenager cashier that took my order. She couldn't find the name of my order, so I double checked with my party for the name of the order. I understand that they had a rush of orders due to the Super Bowl game, but the one thing that set me off was the face and "neck break" of sarcasm after she couldn't find the name of my order in the system the first time.
