21 minute drive as opposed to 8 minutes. This Epic Wings still sells the Buffalo Chicken Salad. The one 8 minutes from my house stopped selling salads years ago. They also have Epic Chicken Fries and steamed rice here. Anyways, I really love the Buffalo Chicken Salad and I wish my local Wings and Things would sell them again. Epic wings is always a great place to eat wings or tenders. You can never go wrong with mild. Customer service is always great and the atmosphere is good. I came here a couple of days ago and was in and out in under 10 mins when it was busy. Also what I like about this place is that they have beer on tap which gives it a sports bar feel. I recommend this place for others to try. read more

Look.... I soend a lot of money here, certainly not to babysit kids and for the parents to be on the other side of the room! Management needs to make sure kids stay by their parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Period! You will lose customers as a result especially if the kids are not respectful! Its BS! read more

Things are great. I've been to the one by SDSU, near Sports Arena, and the another on Convoy St. So, this Santee location is neat. Compared to the other WnT spots, the Santee location features a lovely patio space plus an accessible beer bar with fourteen taps offering some locally brewed beverages. As usual, there are a number of TVs on a sporty channel. I prefer to get handsy with their bone-in version, but the fam prefers boneless. Tenderloin strips, with the original bbq sauce & mild Buffalo sauce mixed together is delicious. A little sweet with a little heat. Don't forget those warm breadsticks sprinkled with just a touch of crack disguised as buttery garlic. Service is friendly and helpful when we dine in. They always check on us and make sure our table has everything we needed. Bonus points for not being stingy with extra dips or dressings. read more

We come here every Wednesday after softball for what we call wing Wednesday's! We love coming here, it's a hit or miss if it's busy or not most of the time it is busy, but the workers are on top of it for the most part! They are fast to clean tables as soon as people leave so there's always plenty of seating and the outside is typically nice, except for when the mosquitos get you! The chicken is always on point the only thing I would say that sucks now is that they no longer give you two choices of flavors, but if you do want to have two flavors the best way to do it is just order plain wings with the flavors on the side and then just pour it over your chicken yourself! Other than they are pretty good! Especially for having staff on the younger side, they seem to be respectful and nice which is always a plus these days!! read more

I really like this Wings - N - Things !!! The restaurant is very nice . It's also very clean , and has a really nice decor . I absolutely love it . It feels good dining in a fresh and clean spot The service is equally as nice . The staff here goes above and beyond to make their customer's happy for sure . And the food is amazing . My order is always right and cooked perfectly . I recommend trying the Lemon pepper and mild sauce , I love it ! Extra ranch . read more

Worst wing place (location) ever. If you've been to this epic wings at this santee location, you know. If you haven't been, lucky you and don't waste your money or time. This place use to be ok, but it has drastically gone down hill. For 24 wings and 8 bread sticks it'll cost you more than $50 and the wings will come with little to no sauce, very dry and in small shribbled up form (see picture that was from my family's last order). The staff and management, in particularly Greg/Gregory K did not help or offer to help me in anyway. There are wayyy better wing places and most people have already figured this out from the looks of it, this place is always so empty and as you can see it's pretty obvious why. read more

Look no further! What a great experience! I hadn't been to this location in a while because of moving location. When I came by today, they had done some changes to the look and the menu. The young lady, McKenzie that took my order was very kind and very helpful. She even made me aware of a deal that saved me a few bucks extra. She took the time and was patient. It was clean in the dining area, they were very efficient in getting the food to us and the employee, McKenzie made it an overall GREAT experience! Epic Wings, you have a great employee in McKenzie! Let's do another..... I love chicken! And love wings. Trust me I get it a "fast food wing shop" isn't going to be the top wing, but Epic didn't disappoint. Let's start out with checking in. The lone is never slow. No matter how long the staff can run a register. Not too much to think about, just try some flavors and worse case dunk her in ranch! Price point is fair, and for the Veterans, Disabled, and Active service men and women they have a discount! I've eat here a few times as most know I give more than one chance. Out of 20 I've had two times I wasn't happy. Just happens. The last trip was the reason I'm posting. The staff was on point, even with a softball group. The beer was cold, the chicken was hot and that's key! Hot chicken! Will I be back? Yep Would I recommend it? Yep Con: Parking sucks here the spots are tiny and people rip through the lot like morons. read more

I'm giving the wings a 4.5. They were good. Lemon Pepper wings were tasty. The wings were a tad too salty. I know you have to season buffalo wings well. It was just a little too much salt. I can't complain we "housed" them. We had mild as well and they were good. The Garlic bread sticks and veggie and blue cheese were throw-ins but they were both excellent. I rate them just behind Dirty Birds but ahead of Buffalo Wild Wings. This location in Santee gets a 5 Star for their Super Bowl Sunday operation. They know Super Sunday. They just do wings. We ordered really Early that day and selected a pickup time. I was arrived and greeted - you have a pick up or order line and then a paid or no paid line from there and then the final step a staged off area in the store for food pickup. It was super smooth and the order was made exactly how we wanted it. read more

Decidedly mid... the ranch was good and the workers were super duper nice but the food is just not good. Extremely pricey for relatively average portions, the rice bowl was doughy, clumpy, and tasteless. The wings were dry and hard to get any meat off of. Ordered for takeout for super bowl Sunday. Spent $130 and my entire order was wrong up arriving. They were beyond slammed so I get it. Nobody wore name tags and I wish I got his name but a manager (?) (light gray shirt when others were wearing black) who ended up "helping" me was beyond rude. We argued for a good 5 minutes before he went back to finally fix my order. He kept telling me that what I ordered online wasn't possible on Super Bowl Sunday even though I had called ahead and spoke with someone before placing my order days ahead of time online. I ordered 3 different sauces for the family pack of wings and he told me I could only do 2 on super bowl Sunday, however, all of the wings were the same flavor. Then for my boneless party pack tenders, which were also only one flavor for all 32, I was told I could do 4 sauces and I wanted them all on the side. They were all drenched in just 1 sauce. Their receipt which was taped to the bag was correct and highlighted in multiple different colors so clearly someone read the tag but whoever prepared it and put it together did it wrong. He couldn't just own up to it and fix it right away. We had to argue about it first. Overall, the wings were trash. Worst $130 ever spent. But really, the horrible customer service is what really left the bad taste in my mouth. It's like that saying, "you can make up for bad food with good customer service but you can't make up for bad customer service with good food". We have ordered from here many many times before and usually loved it. We were very excited to have this as our super bowl party meal. For some of our guests, this was their first time trying epic wings. Unfortunately, due to the horrible customer service, I will not be back nor will I ever recommended this place. read more

Wings were dry and not flavorful. I was expecting more from this place. A lot of friends recommended it, but I found the food to be dry and less than flavored. I will NOT be going back (especially for the price). Their customer service was terrible...we were ignored when I went in to pick up our order. Our food was actually ready and sitting on their counter for 10 minutes as I was trying to find out why our order wasn't ready yet. They then noticed that it WAS our order and the staff just laughter off without an apology. read more

Wanted to dine in but the place was nearly at capacity. There was one table but no chairs. I asked for chairs and they didn't have any. Staff especially the cashier that helped me was rude. There's a sign that says "tip your cashier" which just screams "entitlement". In my opinion, tips are for those that provide a service of some sort like a barista or waiter, not a cashier. There was a spill and none of the staff members bothered to clean it up so a customer ended up cleaning it up. No napkins in sight. It was difficult to get any type of service as the staff simply lacks basic customer service skills. This is a reflection of management. Absolutely a horrible experience. read more

Last night we decided to eat dinner at Epic Wings, Santee. We've been there probably 20 times. No issues. We ordered our food and paid $50 plus for it. Waited a good while and when it arrived my wife said to the rude person this review is about that her chicken was not light sauce or crispy like she ordered to please fix it. The 16 year then took it back and was openly voicing loudly that "She doesn't think it's light sauce or crispy enough" Just being a bitch saying these things over and over so we could hear her. Spoke to her manager and we hope she gets reprimanded for her attitude. Thank you for listening. read more

The wings and tenders are always hot, fresh and tasty. I can NOT get enough of their breadsticks [drools in Homer Simpson]. I'm also pretty sure there's crack in the ranch, because I can't stop dipping my chicken or breadsticks in there. It's a great place for watch parties, with lots of big screen TV's and a sports fans. They also partner with local schools for fundraisers, which I love. Calling ahead and picking up an order is often a better option, if prefer to do without the noise. The food is usually ready in 15 minutes, or 20 during peak hours. I'd give em' 5 stars, but the prices have gotten out of hand. My patronage is now much less frequent for that only reason. read more

Being from upstate NY I am a bit of a wing snob. It's hard to find good wings outside of the NorthEast. That said, Epic Wings has been my go to for over a decade. They are rock solid nearly every single time and their service is top notch as well. I'm usually hesitant with such a young staff but everyone really seems to go above and beyond and genuinely wants to make your experience great. Ambiance is fantastic with a fairly no frills but clean, open and welcoming environment. Bring the family and the kids as there's plenty of TVs to enjoy the sports games and beer a plenty for the long haul. read more

I love this place! The breadsticks are always super fresh, buttery, and warm. The only breadsticks I could find comparable to Americans O's kitchen. The service is always friendly and super quick! The wings are delicious! I always try to make sure I order a few different sauces so I can try a few of their flavors. I have tried them all but I totally recommend the sweet chili add garlic, the extra hot buffalo add garlic, and the honey bbq. Their salads are always fresh and the homemade ranch is so delicious I could just drink it! The French fries are always cooked to perfection with the right amount of crisp. I recommend you come here you won't be disappointed! read more

Perfect place to bring the family or catch a game. My kids love it and the various and affordable local craft beers keep me coming back. Tenders and wings are always good. Wing fries and pizza sticks are insane if you are looking to mix it up.Lots of big screens and they put the sound on for Padres games. Staff are phenomenal. Even though it's counter order they still come by and ask if you need anything and buss the tables. Patio is great with heaters at night. They handled COVID well and I always felt like safety was a priority despite what the deniers say. This place is a hidden gem and stacks up against any sports bar and is head and shoulders above BWW and a lot lighter on the tab. read more

I decided to tryAnny's Fine Burgers. I ordered a regular burger with lettuce and tomato plus onion the way my Dad likes, oh and pickles too. I decided to get one also prepared the same way. I normally do not eat red meat because I am a chicken, shrimp, and fish lover but on occasion I will make an exception if a restaurant knows how to make good burgers. I ordered for both of us, but I had to quickly eat mine so I could write this review and satisfy my raging appetite . The girl behind the counter was so friendly and helpful. She brought me a plate and my bag of food. I opened the wrapper and my eyes were in awe because this bigger was large in size and looked fresh. I bit down thinking there was no way I could eat it all. But, I did! I devoured it in five minutes! It was fresh, delicious, and juicy! They seasoned it to perfection . So glad they do not overly salt their burgers. I also ordered a homemade lemonade and a side of fries for my Dad to enjoy. I better go now as I need to deliver this deliciousness to my Dad! Oh I almost forgot, they keep the place so clean and I love the music in the background . Drake was playing! This is on my favorite burger list! First they charge me 1.50 for asking for my rice noodles without curry (my wife dislikes curry), which I am used to, but I think might offend them. From there, there is some confusion about my order. They almost forget one of my sides in the proccess, and forgot I ordered fried wontons, but again, that is NOT why I am leaving this review. I am leaving this review because of what happened in all this... So, to begin, I ordered off the menu because I wanted my food fresh, but still, they grabbed all our sides and two of my entrees right out of the to go bar; which would be fine EXCEPT the food on the menu is more expensive because it is FRESH, and not soggy or soft from sitting in a metal tray for like an hour and a half! The next thing that happens is while trying to find out about my wantons they: GO THROUGH MY FOOD. They literally touched all my fried items with ungloved hands while I am sitting there at the waiting table with them; trying to figure out their mistake like I was trying to steal food from them. The kicker being that they forgot to charge the wontons! So instead of being like: 'sorry about the inconvenience', they straight up go: 'oh hey, let us charge you for those after we touched all your food'. Needless to say, I was a bit aghast by all this, but what was worse than the service is the fact that the cook purposefully gave my wife bland unseasoned noodles because I asked for then with 'no curry' as if paying an extra 1.50 wasn't enough, they had to also be like: 'screw your taste buds for not liking our spices!' I mean, none of this was necessary, and it all felt pretty gross and rude by the end as I just took my food and left. All that said, my wife was pretty disappointed to hear about this and thinks we may need to find a new chinese place which really sucks. Yeah... but giving me old food, messing up my order, not preparing my food right (even after they charged extra for it), and touching my food makes me realize it's probably for the best. But hey, at least they remembered to charge me fried wontons, customer always comes last, you know?

We both love the coleslaw at Phil's and that has not changed. Excellent coleslaw. Service at the bar was great. The two massive pay-stations that sit on the bar top need to be removed. There is one on each side and they are very obstructive. I could barely see the TV on the opposite wall. Phil's needs to find a better alternative.

The chicken was dry, period. That's the main thing they serve, so it's kind of hard to overlook. The Cane's sauce is the only thing that really stood out as good -- it carries most of the flavor of the meal. The fries are mid at best, nothing special. The bread is literally just plain Texas toast with butter, which is fine but not exactly exciting. Even the sweet tea wasn't very sweet, which feels like a miss for a place that leans into Southern-style food. I really don't know why kids love Cane's so much. There are so many other places that serve chicken that tastes way better and offer more variety. Honestly, KFC feels like a better bang for the buck, which says a lot. Maybe it's just the hype machine working overtime, but for me this one didn't live up to it.
