If I could rate this 0 I would, customer service was awful, I ordered a single meal with strips mild sauce with an extra strip, the chicken is dry, there's only a tiny drizzle of sauce in the bottom of the plate, and the taste is bland, I'm a new customer in this location, I've been to mission valley and sdsu locations and they're excellent, this location in santee is just awful, please avoid it, I also asked for utensils and the person said they put utensils in the bad, there was no utensils or napkins lol read more

Epic Wings - Dry, bland and sauceless chicken Single 4 pc Tenderloin Strips Meal - Chicken Wings Near Me - Santee, California

I recently visited Epic Wings and, while the food was undeniably delicious, the experience was overshadowed by the incredibly long wait. I waited over 45 minutes for a simple order, which was frustrating and disappointing. The wings were flavorful and cooked well, but no meal is worth that kind of delay. The staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized, which only added to the stress. It's unfortunate because the food itself deserves praise, but the service seriously needs improvement. I hope they work on their efficiency, because with better service, this place could easily earn a much higher rating. And they started signing read more

Always good food here. We get the bone in chicken wings with the sauce on the side. The service is always great, fast and helpful. Really big restaurant with TVs and a little bar area. read more

the food was BUSSSS DOWN I did a review for them on my TikTok honeyeatsfood it was hands down the best I have had by wings and things the wings were tender I got the three piece tenderloin meal I ordered it from yelp it was perfect. read more

My review would be 5 stars, but it appears that the Santee Epic Wings is having a problem with their AC again. It's getting hot, hope they get it fixed soon...as I mentioned in my review last year, this place is awesome, and my buddies and I come here at least once a week, most of the time more, but if it is going to be hot in here, we will have to find somewhere else. I feel badly for the employees, especially if the kitchen AC is out too. read more

Great place great wings great service great fries great sauce place was amazing must give it try

The food is delicious and I will intentionally go out of my way to come to this location for the consistency of quality BUT I only recommend this place if you order in.. online orders confuse the hell out of the team members and the past three times I've had such difficulty assuring my order is enjoyable, leading me to leave this review. It's a convenient location, but not worth the recommendation. read more

Not going back. They let people bring dogs into the restaurant. Pit bull an and wings are not for me.

This is a great spot to get some cheap wings!! Their sauce is phenomenal and their breadsticks were made from the clouds of heaven!! Their salads are good too! If I get a salad from here, I can nibble on it for about 3 days- it's very fresh!! They have tons of sports playing inside their establishment. If you have a craving for some delicious wings- these are the best/cheapest wings you can find! read more

21 minute drive as opposed to 8 minutes. This Epic Wings still sells the Buffalo Chicken Salad. The one 8 minutes from my house stopped selling salads years ago. They also have Epic Chicken Fries and steamed rice here. Anyways, I really love the Buffalo Chicken Salad and I wish my local Wings and Things would sell them again. Come here because they have more choices and great service. This is also a bigger location than the others and really nice inside. read more

Friendly. Good service Boneless wings were good I got Buffalo sauce & ranch dipping sauce read more

I love this place! The breadsticks are always super fresh, buttery, and warm. The only breadsticks I could find comparable to Americans O's kitchen. The service is always friendly and super quick! The wings are delicious! I always try to make sure I order a few different sauces so I can try a few of their flavors. I have tried them all but I totally recommend the sweet chili add garlic, the extra hot buffalo add garlic, and the honey bbq. Their salads are always fresh and the homemade ranch is so delicious I could just drink it! The French fries are always cooked to perfection with the right amount of crisp. I recommend you come here you won't be disappointed! read more

Things are great. I've been to the one by SDSU, near Sports Arena, and the another on Convoy St. So, this Santee location is neat. Compared to the other WnT spots, the Santee location features a lovely patio space plus an accessible beer bar with fourteen taps offering some locally brewed beverages. As usual, there are a number of TVs on a sporty channel. I prefer to get handsy with their bone-in version, but the fam prefers boneless. Tenderloin strips, with the original bbq sauce & mild Buffalo sauce mixed together is delicious. A little sweet with a little heat. Don't forget those warm breadsticks sprinkled with just a touch of crack disguised as buttery garlic. Service is friendly and helpful when we dine in. They always check on us and make sure our table has everything we needed. Bonus points for not being stingy with extra dips or dressings. read more

Epic wings is always a great place to eat wings or tenders. You can never go wrong with mild. Customer service is always great and the atmosphere is good. I came here a couple of days ago and was in and out in under 10 mins when it was busy. Also what I like about this place is that they have beer on tap which gives it a sports bar feel. I recommend this place for others to try. read more

We went in on a busy Sunday with our family of 5. Luke helped us figure out the best deal, brought it to us with a smile. Brought extra plates and boxes to go. The food was good but his service was the shining star of the visit. Thanks Luke! read more

We come here every Wednesday after softball for what we call wing Wednesday's! We love coming here, it's a hit or miss if it's busy or not most of the time it is busy, but the workers are on top of it for the most part! They are fast to clean tables as soon as people leave so there's always plenty of seating and the outside is typically nice, except for when the mosquitos get you! The chicken is always on point the only thing I would say that sucks now is that they no longer give you two choices of flavors, but if you do want to have two flavors the best way to do it is just order plain wings with the flavors on the side and then just pour it over your chicken yourself! Other than they are pretty good! Especially for having staff on the younger side, they seem to be respectful and nice which is always a plus these days!! read more

I really like this Wings - N - Things !!! The restaurant is very nice . It's also very clean , and has a really nice decor . I absolutely love it . How is this place not rates higher? Second best wings in the area and even more affordable. Great customer service, best beer selection, wings are rad too. Always packed. 5 stars read more

Zaid was super helpful, polite and just over all nice guy. Appreciate his hard work and patience taking are order.

Picked up our order To-Go. It was packaged and ready as expected! Staff was quick and super friendly.

I wasnt impressed with my last purchase, especially with no change or increase with the 14$ increase cost for the family meal. Yikes. Bidens build back crappier plan is on point read more

Worst wing place (location) ever. If you've been to this epic wings at this santee location, you know. If you haven't been, lucky you and don't waste your money or time. This place use to be ok, but it has drastically gone down hill. For 24 wings and 8 bread sticks it'll cost you more than $50 and the wings will come with little to no sauce, very dry and in small shribbled up form (see picture that was from my family's last order). The staff and management, in particularly Greg/Gregory K did not help or offer to help me in anyway. There are wayyy better wing places and most people have already figured this out from the looks of it, this place is always so empty and as you can see it's pretty obvious why. read more

Steven is awesome!!! We came to order a family pack towards closing and he accommodated us in such a kind manner. He made sure our togo order was correct and offered us utensils and plates for our family pack. I usually feel bad for coming in towards closing but i got off work late and he had such a great attitude and service. 10/10 shout out Steven!!! read more

Let's do another..... I love chicken! And love wings. Trust me I get it a "fast food wing shop" isn't going to be the top wing, but Epic didn't disappoint. Let's start out with checking in. The lone is never slow. No matter how long the staff can run a register. Not too much to think about, just try some flavors and worse case dunk her in ranch! Price point is fair, and for the Veterans, Disabled, and Active service men and women they have a discount! I've eat here a few times as most know I give more than one chance. Out of 20 I've had two times I wasn't happy. Just happens. The last trip was the reason I'm posting. The staff was on point, even with a softball group. The beer was cold, the chicken was hot and that's key! Hot chicken! Will I be back? Yep Would I recommend it? Yep Con: Parking sucks here the spots are tiny and people rip through the lot like morons. read more

Look no further! What a great experience! I hadn't been to this location in a while because of moving location. When I came by today, they had done some changes to the look and the menu. The young lady, McKenzie that took my order was very kind and very helpful. She even made me aware of a deal that saved me a few bucks extra. She took the time and was patient. It was clean in the dining area, they were very efficient in getting the food to us and the employee, McKenzie made it an overall GREAT experience! Epic Wings, you have a great employee in McKenzie! Keep up the good work!!!! read more

It's a good thing I paid for two extra side veggies with my order this afternoon since they did NOT put any in with my order. Not the first time. read more

I'm giving the wings a 4.5. They were good. Lemon Pepper wings were tasty. The wings were a tad too salty. I know you have to season buffalo wings well. It was just a little too much salt. I can't complain we "housed" them. We had mild as well and they were good. The Garlic bread sticks and veggie and blue cheese were throw-ins but they were both excellent. I rate them just behind Dirty Birds but ahead of Buffalo Wild Wings. This location in Santee gets a 5 Star for their Super Bowl Sunday operation. They know Super Sunday. They just do wings. We ordered really Early that day and selected a pickup time. I was arrived and greeted - you have a pick up or order line and then a paid or no paid line from there and then the final step a staged off area in the store for food pickup. It was super smooth and the order was made exactly how we wanted it. read more

Look.... I soend a lot of money here, certainly not to babysit kids and for the parents to be on the other side of the room! Management needs to make sure kids stay by their parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Period! You will lose customers as a result especially if the kids are not respectful! Its BS! read more

Order on the app and our order was ready in less than 20 minutes. Awesome service as we walked in. It's a busy night and all employees greeted us immediately. Bringing the family back here just because of customer service! Thank you for making our night! read more

The wings are amazing and the buffalo fries are saucey and delicious also the tenders are tender and yummy

Decidedly mid... the ranch was good and the workers were super duper nice but the food is just not good. Extremely pricey for relatively average portions, the rice bowl was doughy, clumpy, and tasteless. The wings were dry and hard to get any meat off of. Otherwise very clean and again the workers were extremely nice & cleared the table. read more

Great opening day! All employees were ready and the place was spot less and well organized. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Salad with the chicken strips in a mild sauce. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/wings-n-things-santee?filter_by_userid=True&select=PfJwmI_4z7IrPO3E_DZpVQ&userid=WG3w_73scm_JUWJ_3Lgn0Q#unX3F3Pugc6WhLWShFWOeQ) The strips had good flavor and the sauce had a slight kick to it as I wanted. Their exterior under the sauce remained crunchy. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/wings-n-things-santee?filter_by_userid=True&select=PfJwmI_4z7IrPO3E_DZpVQ&userid=WG3w_73scm_JUWJ_3Lgn0Q#OrWi4Mo8XYM6Akd849EUTQ) The chicken inside was all white meat and tender. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/wings-n-things-santee?filter_by_userid=True&select=PfJwmI_4z7IrPO3E_DZpVQ&userid=WG3w_73scm_JUWJ_3Lgn0Q#EbvflV6kKn44kbDHtsqWXg) My only issue would be that they need to add more chicken. The salad greens were basic but fresh. I choose the blue cheese dressing for my salad and it was pretty good as blue cheese goes. It had nice little bits of blue cheese. The bread sticks I ordered were amazingly moist with a buttery texture in top and sprinkled with just the right amount of salt. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/wings-n-things-santee?filter_by_userid=True&select=PfJwmI_4z7IrPO3E_DZpVQ&userid=WG3w_73scm_JUWJ_3Lgn0Q#gsTV5U3zl-6NjYxRJLdJ2w) I really like their bread sticks. Service was nice at the counter and went flawlessly. Hooray for chicken strips! But don't tell Camilla the Yelping hen.... The place is large and has a bar. read more

Ordered for takeout for super bowl Sunday. Spent $130 and my entire order was wrong up arriving. They were beyond slammed so I get it. Nobody wore name tags and I wish I got his name but a manager (?) (light gray shirt when others were wearing black) who ended up "helping" me was beyond rude. We argued for a good 5 minutes before he went back to finally fix my order. He kept telling me that what I ordered online wasn't possible on Super Bowl Sunday even though I had called ahead and spoke with someone before placing my order days ahead of time online. I ordered 3 different sauces for the family pack of wings and he told me I could only do 2 on super bowl Sunday, however, all of the wings were the same flavor. Then for my boneless party pack tenders, which were also only one flavor for all 32, I was told I could do 4 sauces and I wanted them all on the side. They were all drenched in just 1 sauce. Their receipt which was taped to the bag was correct and highlighted in multiple different colors so clearly someone read the tag but whoever prepared it and put it together did it wrong. He couldn't just own up to it and fix it right away. We had to argue about it first. Overall, the wings were trash. Worst $130 ever spent. But really, the horrible customer service is what really left the bad taste in my mouth. It's like that saying, "you can make up for bad food with good customer service but you can't make up for bad customer service with good food". We have ordered from here many many times before and usually loved it. We were very excited to have this as our super bowl party meal. For some of our guests, this was their first time trying epic wings. Unfortunately, due to the horrible customer service, I will not be back nor will I ever recommended this place. read more

Wings were dry and not flavorful. I was expecting more from this place. A lot of friends recommended it, but I found the food to be dry and less than flavored. I will NOT be going back (especially for the price). Their customer service was terrible...we were ignored when I went in to pick up our order. Our food was actually ready and sitting on their counter for 10 minutes as I was trying to find out why our order wasn't ready yet. They then noticed that it WAS our order and the staff just laughter off without an apology. read more

Wanted to dine in but the place was nearly at capacity. There was one table but no chairs. I asked for chairs and they didn't have any. Staff especially the cashier that helped me was rude. There's a sign that says "tip your cashier" which just screams "entitlement". In my opinion, tips are for those that provide a service of some sort like a barista or waiter, not a cashier. There was a spill and none of the staff members bothered to clean it up so a customer ended up cleaning it up. No napkins in sight. It was difficult to get any type of service as the staff simply lacks basic customer service skills. This is a reflection of management. Absolutely a horrible experience. read more

Last night we decided to eat dinner at Epic Wings, Santee. We've been there probably 20 times. No issues. We ordered our food and paid $50 plus for it. Waited a good while and when it arrived my wife said to the rude person this review is about that her chicken was not light sauce or crispy like she ordered to please fix it. The 16 year then took it back and was openly voicing loudly that "She doesn't think it's light sauce or crispy enough" Just being a bitch saying these things over and over so we could hear her. Spoke to her manager and we hope she gets reprimanded for her attitude. Thank you for listening. read more

Very loud atmosphere and crowded. Wings were over saturated in sauce. Salad and breadsticks were ok. Staff at counter was friendly.

The wings and tenders are always hot, fresh and tasty. I can NOT get enough of their breadsticks [drools in Homer Simpson]. I'm also pretty sure there's crack in the ranch, because I can't stop dipping my chicken or breadsticks in there. It's a great place for watch parties, with lots of big screen TV's and a sports fans. They also partner with local schools for fundraisers, which I love. Calling ahead and picking up an order is often a better option, if prefer to do without the noise. The food is usually ready in 15 minutes, or 20 during peak hours. I'd give em' 5 stars, but the prices have gotten out of hand. My patronage is now much less frequent for that only reason. read more

First off, smells like a gas leak today. Then my coworker said it's closed so guessing I was right but the employees were still there. Calling OSHA soon. Second, Their hot sauce tastes like some off brand, instead of franks hot like the other locations. The El Cajon location has better rice bowls and bread. Go to other locations for food, come here for gas and beer read more

Who can say anything bad about wings!!! These are yummy!! Good!! Tasteful!!!! BOMB!! Service always great!!!
