I thought I was headed to an upscale burger joint (check the prices!) instead I pulled into a low-end breakfast spot. I pulled out and went in search of another restaurant. Anyone else falling for this scam should do the same. Whoever thought this was a good idea should find a new line of work.

Brian is very friendly and professional and is willing to work with you as a client. His prices are also really competitive, which helped our budget (not that the food tastes budget at all!) I was able to take parts of his regular menu and turn them into appetizers, which he and his staff served separately and were well-prepared to do. For those interested, we had mixed fruit and lumpia trays with spicy sweet and sour sauce. Our mains were Kalua pig with cabbage, Hawaiian BBQ chicken, pancit, macaroni salad, and an Asian garden salad. I was getting compliments left and right (not that I deserved them- Brian and his cooks and servers did) about the quality of the food. Everything was delicious (especially the meats- oh my goodness the slow cooked pork and the flavors on that chicken!) I saw a few guests clutching his business cards as they left like they wanted to keep him as their own little secret. I hadn't sampled the food before booking and was going on faith, but I'm glad I chose the caterer that I did. I was the sole event organizer, and I really liked that Brian made a point to contact me at least twice leading up to the event to confirm and hash-out every detail of the event's proceedings. I was also thankful that Brian made a point to find me and insist myself and my father (the other focus of the event) eat some plates he had made for us. We felt less like customers and more like family. Highly recommended. These guys will leave you fat and happy.

There's also a refrigerator near the meats that has grab and go containers of fresh salsas, guacamole and more. You can definitely find all manner of snacks and Mexican sweets, they even sell Paw Patrol piñatas! There's plenty of close parking in the shared lot. I personally love these little neighborhood markets, and this one is worth checking out.

It was packed with fresh, flavorful shrimp that was perfectly breaded and fried, creating a delightful crunch. The shrimp tacos were equally impressive, bursting with mouthwatering goodness in every bite. The fish tacos also received high praise; they were well-seasoned and simply delectable. But it's not just the food that stands out the service was awesome as well. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for the best seafood in Lakeside, this place should be at the top of your list. Overall, my visit was fantastic, and I can't wait to return for more delicious seafood!

She knows her stuff-knows how to ask the right questions so that you get what you really want. For instance, I was on the fence about having biscuits and gravy but I asked if the gravy was really peppery. She offered to get me a small taste and although it was delicious, I've been a little under the weather so I decided I didn't want anything really heavy. Instead I ordered the 3 egg scramble with their smoked ham and added cheese-it was really good and a huge serving including their potatoes and English muffin. I'll probably be able to make two more meals from this serving! My husband ordered the eggs Benedict and asked which potatoes they would be able to make the most crispy as we both like our potatoes crispy. She suggested the hash browns and even asked if he wanted them crispy on both sides which was a great way to get them the way he wanted. Those kinds of gestures really make the difference when you're dining out. The eggs Benedict and the hash browns were delicious, btw. :) Camryn had a great personality too-very friendly, bright and quick. She did a great job of checking in on all of her tables. When we go back I hope we are lucky enough to have Camryn serve us again but all of the servers seemed very friendly as well. Great job, Izzy's and Camryn!

Well dang. After consistent letdowns from this place it's time to say something and change my…read morerating. This place used to be top 3 for me in terms of breakfast. I've made this my destination breakfast for birthdays, weekends, friends brunches. This was literally the spot. The last 3 times though.... A bummer. The first letdown... these cooks have a tendency to overload their scrambles with uncooked green onions. While it may be good for others, it's not good for me. So i will CONSISTENTLY ask for light green onions. The first let down... a waitress who has been there for a while.. tried to gaslight me into thinking that if I had asked for light green onions, it'd be "a laughable amount". I asked for it anyways and it came packed with green onions. She ate her words, apologized and discounted our breakfast. The second time, the same waitress... the same interaction... but this time it came with zero green onions. She came back and said "it's either all or nothing haha". That was unnecessary. The third time... asking a completely different waitress.... Completely different interaction. 30min later, the omlette comes out packed with green onions and the waitress ignores us for the duration of our stay. So no breakfast for me lol. I understand I'm the picky eater. But dang. I wanna waste the food and not a literal bunch of green onions from the prep bin. The one thing they seem to be consistent on is goofing up my order, so it's time to move on.
