Perfectly seasoned Bloody Mary

Came right back to this super cute great breakfast spot! Excellent counter service with Rae. She made us a perfect Bloody Mary!!I I ordered the same Swedish pancake breakfast and my BF ordered and enjoyed every bite of the chili cheese omelette. We will try the lunch side soon!!

Eggs Benedict. Hollandaise is pretty good, has browns cooked flat and crispy, muffin toasted and coffee pretty good. Eggs undercooked

This used to be a good place but now, between the smaller portions and the waitress drama with two of them, I'm done. The new waitress who used to be a busser is really nice as is the woman with the German accent but there are two of them who are interested more in their referent power than serving customers. You can wait a long time during the meal if they want to talk to each other or customers who are friends.

I love this cafe! The food is always very fresh and served quickly. The ambiance is friendly and neighborly. The service cannot be beat your cup is alway refilled and your waitress continuously check on you.

Eggs benedict with hashbrowns

We've been meaning to try Izzy's Cafe for a while, so we decided to try it this morning. We arrived a little before 10:30am. Plenty of parking on street and parking lot next door. We walked in and noticed it was a little loud but not overly crowded. You can tell they get alot of regulars here and we are about to become regulars ourselves. One of the waitresses said we can sit wherever, which I liked having an option. My husband ordered the strawberry stuffed crepes and I ordered the eggs benedict with hashbrowns. We both ordered coffee and liked the coffee. My husband says he liked his strawberry stuffed crepes, but they were very basic and nothing special about them. I loved my eggs benedict and hashbrowns. The waitresses were all very nice, it was a decent price too. They have a huge menu, so we will definitely be back again to try their lunch menu next.

Good basic diner/cafe. Prices are fair. Service is okay. If in the neighborhood I'd return.

Chocolate chip pancakes are so good, you'll have an out of body experience. Chicken fried steak is also awesome.

Everything is INSANE. I've even interviewed the "meat guys" who hang out with the giant smokers in the back lot and basically babysit the meat 24/7. They take their job very seriously, and it shows in the quality of the meat! The bartender made me a mezcal margarita once, and I had three that night and now think of them often. It's what gets me back in the door here. The mezcal marg and the meat. The live music is always awesome. We came recently and saw the Blind Miles Blues Band play - their vibe fit with the ambiance of the restaurant so well. It was awesome that our kids were able to run around and play while we ate dinner and talked. I am SO thankful for a restaurant that has food this good that also freely welcomes families with kids! Our waiter that night, Bryce, was awesome. He was SO attentive and so patient and kind when we had a bunch of requests for extra everything. We'll probably request him next time, he was that cool. Can't say enough good things about this place. I already can't wait to come back again!

Heard about this place from Gareth Eats and Marvelous Muncher, they did not lead me astray! My wife and kid can be pretty picky. For the amount of food we ordered, we would usually have leftover, but we finished the whole thing! * 2 lbs of chicken - so juicy, great taste, especially with that BBQ sauce. My wife usually complains that BBQ is so salty, or too vinegary, not this time. She loved it! * Mac and cheese - Creamy! Cheesy! Good! * Coleslaw - fresh, I think there's a light vinaigrette. I usually like mayo on mine, but I can see how this pairs better with the rest of the food. * Potato Salad - solid, not too salty as well. Just right! * Beans and Rice - I think I should've gone large on this one. So good! * Peach Cobbler - legit. Warm. Peachy. Cobblery. * Sweet Potato Pie - I was surprised, because I usually am not a fan of sweet potato. Tasty, not too sweet! Mr. Coop checked in with us once in a while to make sure we're all good, stopped by and gave me a sample of the bacon. Sweet, real tasty! I'm excited to come back and try the ribs and brisket! Pioneer Bbq smokes their meats with white oak which gives their meats a smoky flavor without the bitter aftertaste. Pork baby back ribs were tender and had a smoky aroma and flavor from the white oak.  Dry rub gave the ribs a bit of sweetness from the brown sugar and some spice from the black pepper.  Very tasty. Prime beef brisket was tender and juicy.  Peppercorn based dry rub and the smoky flavor combined with the high quality beef into some delicious brisket. Staff was nice and efficient.  I'll miss this place Chef Hanis created.  I was told I could get the same Texas style bbq at a sister restaurant Del's Hideout which employs the same Executive Chef Tim Eylens.  It was back in 2011 I first sampled Chef Hanis food at Carnitas Snack Shack.  Best carnitas I ever had.  It's been since 2023 when I last saw Chef Hanis at the now closed Carbon Bbq.  I hope he is doing well. https://www.hungryones.com/2023/08/carbon-bbq/ To absent friends, lost loves, old gods, and the season of mists; and may each and every one of us always give the devil his due. It sounded good but we also weren't really feeling like going "out" and something that could be delivered or that we could pick up seemed like the better play. All the typical poke places showed up when we searched but none of them really sold us. Well, good thing I remembered that Valley Farm's poke game is strong... really strong. Believe me, I know that those of you who don't know Valley Farm will likely say "really?" when I detail that this sleepy little Spring Valley market kicks out poke as good as anywhere else in SD, but it's true. It's a sleeper of a choice but the quality and price will make you a fan, trust me.

The store is clean, beautifully organized, and filled with high-quality products you don't always find at larger chain grocery stores. What I love most is their fresh selection, especially the produce, specialty items, and unique gourmet finds. Everything looks vibrant and carefully displayed. You can tell they take pride in what they offer. They also have a full butcher shop with everything you could desire. The selection is impressive, and it's wonderful knowing you can get high-quality cuts prepared fresh right there in the store. It adds such a personalized, old-fashioned market feel that you just don't see everywhere anymore. Another favorite of mine is their fresh-pressed cold juice blends, which I absolutely love. They taste incredibly fresh, and you can truly tell the difference in quality. It's such a treat to grab one while shopping. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and welcoming. It truly feels like a neighborhood market where customer service still matters. Whether I am picking up everyday essentials or something special for a gathering, I know I will find something wonderful here. If you appreciate quality, variety, and a pleasant shopping experience, Valley Farms Market is definitely worth a visit. I always leave happy!
