A great place to relax and enjoy wonderful food! The staff makes you feel like family. We enjoy the view of the golf course from the outside patio. A must do in Lakeside. A shout out to Stephanie Sam Sienna and Rafael! Our home away from home.

I visited on a Sunday morning with my aunt, cousin, and son. My aunt and cousin recommended this restaurant as it is close to their home and they said there is good food for a great price. The restaurant was easy to find and there was no wait on a Sunday morning. We were greeted and told to sit anywhere we wanted. We recieved menus right away and our drink orders were taken quickly. I ordered a 4 item omelette which came with hashbrowns and toast for under $9. My son had two huge pancakes for under $5. The two meals with two soft drinks came up to around $18. Anytime you can have a sit down meal with drinks for $10 person is awesome in my opinion. The food was good. The pancakes were huge and my son loved them. The omelette was probably a 3 egg omelette, enough for two meals. The only gripe I had was the mushrooms tasted canned instead of fresh. Other than that the service was good and the food enjoyable. It was a little warm inside and the staff did try to make it more comfortable with a fan. Overall I would return anytime for breakfast.

Natalie definitely knows how to make an Old Fashioned--carefully handcrafted and finished with an orange peel. It doesn't get much better than that. This experience was a complete turnaround from my last visit, when I sat for quite a while without a greeting or any service. Other customers who arrived after me were served first, so I eventually walked out. Amanda and Ashley , thank you for addressing my previous review and making things right. I ended up getting the breakfast burrito without the bacon to make it vegetarian and it was sooooo good. The salsa it came with was a wonderful mild red salsa. I would definitely order this breakfast burrito again. Plus the burrito was only $12.95, that is not bad at all. I also loved that they host a lot of fun themed nights and events. This really seems like a fun place to work and attend regularly, I wish it was closer to me. The day I went all the of the staff were dressed in PJs because they had a PJ party event planned for that evening. They had indoor seating as well as an outdoor back patio. Plenty of seating and plenty of TVs.

Food 5/5 -Complimentary sourdough bread basket was served warm with a side of butter, no notes -Pacific chowder/cup $8, nice thick texture of chowder that had fish/clam in every scoop, yum -steak frites $33, I really liked that the steak came pre-cut, cooked perfectly medium rare, tender and juicy paired perfectly with the garlicky refreshing chimichurri sauce. Truffle fries were crispy and so fragrant, great truffle fries. -crab leg boil special $30, the sauce is garlicky and buttery but not spicy, comes with crab legs and corn and sausage and potatoes, comes with gloves. Share an appetizer- we picked passion fruit shrimp cocktail which was 8 large poached shrimp with a passion fruit forward cocktail sauce and a charred lemon. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the charred lemon added a nice touch. We each picked an entree of the 2 offered - Ginger Glazed Wild Salmon and Grilled ribeye. The salmon was on top of couscous with baby grilled zucchini. The salmon had crispy skin and was fork tender just flaked right off and was very flavorful. The rib eye was grilled medium and covered in a peppercorn demi gravy that was so luxurious. I was half tempted to lick the plate. The pesto baby golden potatoes were like individual servings of mashed potatoes which paired nicely with the rib eye and charred asparagus. Share the dessert - Raspberry Chocolate Bombe- was expecting more chocolate than the 2 small heart shaped cookies which did not have a forward chocolate taste but more of a sugar cookie feel. The "bombe" was Raspberry ish mousse covered in a firm Raspberry jelly on top of a thin butter wafer/cookie with fresh strawberries and blueberries which were tossed in sugar. Every course was brought out timely and the presentation of each dish was exquisite. Everything was well seasoned and the appropriate temperature right down to the chilled plate and spoons for dessert. Plenty of seating and service was impeccable. Definitely will be returning WITH RESERVATIONS lesson learned.

They have everything from hot sandwiches and cold sandwiches to salads, wraps, and even breakfast items. You can order at the counter or on the kiosk. I ordered on the kiosk. Simple and quick. I ordered the wild-caught salmon sandwich with salmon, arugula, and garlic aioli. The salmon was cooked perfectly. They were a little skimpy on the aioli, so the sandwich was kind of dry, but it was still good. I also got a side of fries, and those shoestring fries were nice and crispy. Prices are reasonable, and there's seating both inside and outside. Shout out to Crystal. I don't know if she's the manager, but she definitely cares about quality customer service. Someone ordered the Green Beret sandwich, and it was brought out on toasted bread when apparently it wasn't supposed to be. She immediately went to the counter and let the cooks know about it. She meant business, and I liked that.

There must have been at least a dozen kids or more. I told my 7 year old son not to bring balls but of course other kids did. If you park in the back there is no doubt your car will get hit. But it's softballs, not baseballs. Service is legit. Fast, friendly. They're like get in, order, get out. But we stayed for probably an hour and a half. The live music was great, not too loud. I am sad to confess the food here is not as legit as I figured based on being a San Diego local and a big DDD watcher. It probably depends on which day you come, but on Thursday, the brisket was so average. Del's in Del Cerro is better. Smoky and the Brisket is better. I had my brisket served with that nacho cheese and relish, not nearly as great as I thought it would be based on DDD. I also don't drink anymore, but if I were to have had 2-3 beers + this dinner + the enviornment I would have loved it. My son gave a huge thumbs up to his burger, daughter liked her food. If you want an experience, have time you need to kill and have kids, it's a solid spot, but in no way is this a destination if you live west of the 15. Stick to classic spots.
