"How have I never had this place before!?" First off I didn't know this was a chain restaurant but I just want to say that I love it! Upon entry I immediately was impressed with how clean the establishment was. No weird smells, floors clean and especially those tables! I let the cashier know that it was my first time dining in and she helped out plenty! I was so pleased to have such a great interaction with this employee. So much so she had given me a free salted Carmel cookie! (We will try soon) 10/10 for the customer service. I had ordered the chicken kebab plate with rice and the apple salad. An additional veggie kebab as well. For only $5.99 you can get a second kebab. -Veggie kebab- tasted so delicious and flavorful! I think restaurants have a difficult time seasoning and properly cooking veggies and here at Luna they prepared their perfectly. Very tasty. Especially those mushrooms!!!! -chicken kebab plate- very yummy and proportions were perfect. The chicken was juicy and grilled fully too. I was pleased with the sauce that laid on the chicken and rice. The rice was cooked just right too and tasted like rice. -The Apple salad- definitely if you enjoy sour/bitter sauces then this dish is for you! I appreciate the sweetness from the apple that comes through with the walnut. Good pairings and good fresh taste! Cold too thank god. -salted Carmel cookie- dangerously delicious. Goodness that thing is fluffy and salty sweet. The Carmel pops right through but nothing gets stuck in your teeth. Very easy to eat. Not crunchy or hard. Very soft cookie and I honestly was surprised since it was prepackaged. I highly recommend you try this cookie if you're going to get a dessert here. First timer here! The moment I walked in I was greeted by Lorraine at the register and she explained how my reward worked for my first meal. I didn't realize there were so many options and combinations you could choose from on the build your own bowl. She was very helpful and made sure I got exactly what I wanted while giving me the run down of the menu and flavor profiles of all of the different sauces. Brandi also came to check on us a couple times while I ate to make sure everything was perfect and IT WAS. The tables and chairs were really clean and the music was tasteful as well! Very much enjoyed trying Luna Grill in town. They serve a variety of middle eastern inspired dishes including a variety of kabobs. I've tried the chicken and the koobideh, they seem to be fresh grilled to order as the wait time is about 10-15 mins. They are both good, although on the koobideh one time it was undercooked and the other time overcooked so there seemed to be some variability there. I really like their side of harissa hummus, of which they give a generous portion. The prices are a little lighter than some of the fast casual competition but I think the quality is there to match. The service I've received has there has been nothing but outstanding. Would definitely return! read more

This is one of my new favorite places to eat. They usually have a nice steady stream of people but there's always plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. The restaurant is clean and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious! I usually get a salad or a bowl. My husband loves the plates. My first trying this place. I ordered the gyro pita with the "sazazeeeeeeki" sauce lol. Pretty filling. Well worth the 10 minute prep time. Fries were perfectly crisp. Gyro meat had parts that were crisp mixed with melt in your mouth tenderness. Very well balanced. Staff was friendly...almost 420 happy. The place was clean. No complaints at all. So I was in the area and had a half off an entree offer expiring so went to the Santee location instead of the RSD one nearest my home. I used to go to this one when I worked in Santee and always liked the owner/food. Have to say, it was as great or even better than I remembered. I ordered my food with the help of counter person extraordinaire, McCall(sp?). She was so helpful, even though I was having trouble ordering and then had to reorder in the phone app to get the special. She even had the manager fix something to get the order through and he was so nice( I'm tech-challenged, I admit). He even gave me an extra order of pita and tzatziki while I waited-who does that?! ( sorry, NOT the RSD location). I ordered the salmon plate. Salmon cooked perfectly and nice size piece-not smallish and charrred on one end like the last few tîmes I had it in RSD. The cabbage salad was just perfect-not too vinegary. Even the rice tasted better, a little buttery taste and cooked perfectly. They gave me a big water cup, not a little plastic see-thru one. They even checked on me at my table to see how my order was tasting. I also used the restroom and it was nice and clean. There were several couples and families eating inside and outside as I left. I was extremely impressed with both the food and service at this location and will definitely be back. Plus I earned more points and will soon earn a $10 off my order, again. read more

I normally don't leave reviews, but I felt this experience needed to be shared. The food was good and fresh. We came in about an hour before closing, and everything was prepared well and tasted great. No complaints at all regarding the quality of the meal. However, while we were sitting and enjoying our food, the cashier (a heavier Hispanic gentleman wearing prescription glasses) began making racial remarks about Arabs. What made the situation particularly uncomfortable is that my husband is Arabic something the employee obviously did not know. Everyone is entitled to their own personal opinions, but expressing racial comments openly in a public setting is inappropriate especially in a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurant. It creates an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere for guests. We hope management addresses this issue, as no customer should feel uneasy while simply trying to enjoy a meal. read more
