    Beef Shawarma with fries

Super friendly staff, excellent dishes, and feels like home. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Plate which had rice, and it came with tabbouleh salad (or your choice, thats what I picked) Beef Shawarma Wrap with fries Regular/Spicy hummus. 5 bean soup Everything tasted so good with great flavors all on every dish, but I was a huge fan of the 5 bean soup. I personally thanked them on how excellent it was. Again, thank you so much..full recap of my review on IG- robonomnomreviews@gmail.com

@habibi_mediterranean_grill truly feels like a taste of home. Everything is made with love by a wonderful family, and you can feel it in every bite -- food that reaches your heart before your belly. The portions are very generous, and the attention to detail in each dish really stands out.

Finally a Mediterranean restaurant in Santee ! Was recommended this spot by a friend so I came with my buddies so we can try a little bit of everything. Their homemade hummus with beef shawarma on top was a great starter. Their kufta was delicious we each had one. We got the kuzi with two different kinds of rice. The meat on that was so tender. We got the mixed grill plate which comes with rice and 4 different kinds of meat so we got a variety. Beef kabob, beef tikka, chicken kabob, and chicken tikka. Last item we shared was the gyro wrap cut into pieces and ask for their Habibi sauce because it was so good ! Restaurant was clean and staff was kind ! Definitely coming back.

This place was great unfortunately it is closed when I went there two weeks ago. The baklava was great! The chicken shawarma had an amazing flavor and my hook was the saffron rice! The service was great and a chill vibe.

Chicken Shawarma Plate, Greek Salad, Beef Kabob

Great spot for mediterranean bowls and takeout! We had shared the chicken shawarma plate which came with two sides (tabouleh & greek salad), base (yellow rice), and pita bread - plenty for two. I also added a beef kabob to try and the flavor was great. Only gave 4 stars because the order took about 10 mins, but they make up for it by giving your choice of sauces. Looking forward to dining in to try at its freshest!

Walked in ordered my food took about 10minutes. Food was made to order and they weren't busy. Just wish the sandwich came with more veggies without charge (lettuce, tomato, onion) which is why i gave 4 stars.

New spot on Santee bringing the Mediterranean flavors! It's a small counter service place with limited seating, so I don't recommend dining in with a large group - it's better to call ahead to pick up. Right as you walk in you can see the 3 juicy spits of meat slowly spinning and cooking to perfection. There is chicken Shawarma, beef, and gyro. One of the best things about this place is you get to pick your own toppings, some come with 3 and some come with 4. There is a house dressing that's served on most dishes but you can ask for additional sauces when you pick up your order, they have tatziki, garlic, Tahini, habibi, ranch, and Chipotle ranch. I ordered a gyro pita with lettuce, tomato, and banana peppers. It came with a generous portion of fries. The pita almost looked like it was whole wheat, and they put so much stuff in there that the pita could barely contain it all! (a good problem to have) In my personal opinion I think the gyro could've had a little more spices to it, but overall it was really good and I was very full and satisfied! There is a large selection of can or bottle beer and even some Asian style non-alcoholic drinks like Boba milk tea in a can. I hope this place sticks around!

I had a good chicken shawarma wrap from this recently opened Middle Eastern eatery in Santee for $12.99. You get to choose three ingredients to add to the wrap. I added black olives, lettuce, and feta cheese. The chicken shawarma was not only tender but nicely seasoned and marinated. They put a good amount of chicken in the wrap, but it was unevenly distributed. For example, one side had a lot of chicken, and the other half had very little. The lettuce and black olives were good, and the feta cheese was very good. The yogurt sauce I had on the side was very good, too. The wrap with fries. I wanted a small salad, but unfortunately, they were not willing to accommodate. The service at the counter was good. The young lady was nice and definitely on it. She did well managing all the to go orders. They offer inside and outside seating.

I was looking for something new to try in the Santee area and stumbled upon this gem -- and I'm so glad I did. The food is incredibly fresh and tastes truly authentic Middle Eastern. Special shout-out to the baba ghanoush -- hands down one of the best I've ever had. So flavorful and perfectly smoky! The woman working there was also incredibly sweet, and the service was warm and welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back regularly. Highly recommend!

Small shop offering quality and tasty Mediterranean food in Santee. Located in the Smart & Final shopping center, next to Round Table Pizza. Great tasting fresh items that you can tell were prepared with care. The owner, Lara, is charming, courtous and professional. We have been back three times now, especially loving the beet salad, baba ganoush, and chicken tikka. Including a couple of photos of items we brought home.

The girl behind the counter was really nice. I wanted to love the place but the falafel was mediocre and the fries were limp. The pita tasted like super market pita. They put the pickled pepper and beet with the fries so the fries tasted like pickled peppers. The hummus was ok. The pistachio baklava was really tasty.

Wow!!! Amazing food and service!! We were in town visiting my mother in law and decided to grab food here before a long drive back. We were so impressed with the flavor of the food, presentation and the service we received. The restaurant and bathroom were clean and very well kept as well. We will definitely be back next time we're in town!

The moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted and asked if I wanted a table for one. I said no, I was hoping to order takeout, and she kindly invited me to sit at the bar while I looked over the menu. Right away, the atmosphere felt welcoming, beautiful, and relaxed. I ordered my food, sipped my water, and honestly didn't think I had ordered that much. Then she came out with multiple filled brown bags of food! First of all, the prices were amazing. Second... the food was TOP NOTCH and completely different from what I had the night before. Everything was packed with flavor without being overloaded with salt. Fresh, vibrant, rich, and incredibly satisfying. The waitress/hostess was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave great recommendations on what to try. You can tell the staff truly cares about the experience. I will absolutely be back the next time I visit San Diego again. And not that I recommend eating while driving ... but the next day on my drive back to Ventura County, I spread out my leftovers and happily snacked on hummus, baba ghanoush, and dolma all the way home. That alone says everything about how good this place was.

From the first bite, it was clear this isn't just food, it is craft. You can taste the care, the precision, and the pride. Every element felt thoughtfully prepared, balanced, and deeply satisfying without trying too hard. The standout for me was the biryani, comforting, and perfectly executed. But everything impressed. The tzatziki was bright and refreshing, the hummus topped with beef shawarma was rich and flavorful, and the ney classic plate was generous enough to easily feed two, maybe even three, without sacrificing quality anywhere on the plate. It was the perfect way to try a lot of their items at once and that one disappointed! What really says it all is that I am already looking forward to the leftovers, which is rare for me. This is the kind of place that stays with you, not just because it is good, but because you can feel the heart behind it.

Parking lot can be a challenge as it can get quite full and tight , however , down the street there can be another opportunity for parking I sat down inside and ordered a mixed grill entree ( one chicken kebob skewer , one beef tikka skewer and one chicken tikka skewer ) which came with rice and salad w/ the option to substitute the rice with fries however no salad As i was waiting, i could not help but be amazed at the beautiful white marble tables and the ceiling designs the interior of the store so proudly displayed , the wafts of the charcoal smoke fuming inside the restaurant intensified my salivation. My food arrived and i grabbed a lemon slice and squeezed a droplet of lemon juice on each little bite of skewer meat. I started off with the chicken and i couldn't believe how much moisture was retained on the inside while the outside was perfumed perfectly with the smoke of the charcoal. The tikkas and their ratios of meat were pristine and i could not help but feed heaping full spoons of the ever so seasoned rice to my mouth. If i was born Arabic in a previous life , my taste buds affirmed the possibilities as i ate here tasting the flavors of Damascus شكراً

We managed it by having part of our group jump out to get in line while we waited for a spot, a strategy that worked perfectly since we were seated within just a few minutes of walking in. The restaurant itself is beautiful, featuring clean white marble and modern lighting. It has a high-energy, "efficient ship" vibe. The staff is everywhere, and you'll hear a "symphony" of shouted orders and instructions that makes the whole place feel alive and incredibly productive. Seeing the constant stream of people picking up to-go orders was our first clue that the food was going to be excellent. The Food We ordered for a party of seven and found the portions to be very generous: The Platter for 3: This was the perfect way to sample five different types of kebabs. Every meat was seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection. This came with a salad. The Qouzi: This was the standout for me. It's a unique dish with a wonderful blend of textures, the crunch of fried almonds on top paired with massive chunks of stewed lamb. The lamb was so incredibly tender I could literally cut it with a spoon! To top it all off, they offer free Arabic tea, which was the perfect finishing touch to a heavy, savory meal. Final Verdict It's rare to find a place that is this busy yet runs with such precision. Great food, beautiful ambiance, and a lively atmosphere. My family and I will definitely be back!

The french fries were airy and crisp. The white rice was fluffy and clean tasting. The salad was crisp and refreshing. The pita was decent and mostly served as a vehicle for the sauce. The gyro was tender and flavorful. The meat was well seasoned with a touch of sweetness and heat. *Cucumber Yogurt and Pita: loved that it came as a full tub of sauce. The included pita was rather skimpy, though. The yogurt was vibrant and refreshing. I was worried that the cucumber would water down the creaminess, but it added a naturally light and bright note instead. Although I miss the more affordable lunch options, the food has clearly benefited from their revamp. The quality was consistently high and left me full without weighing me down.
