walnut shrimp, orange chicken, fried rice
    Thalia M.

Whenever I'm craving orange chicken & fried rice, I always go to Pandex. I usually get a bowl for myself but if I'm sharing with my sister, we would get an entree. I usually like ordering at the sjsu pandex because the portions are huuuge however, I also lived close to cottle so I came here during this time (2018). Orange chicken: 5/5, Very flavorful and yummy! I enjoy eating this with the fried rice or chow mein. Walnut shrimp: 3/5, This was a bit too dry but it wasn't bad. I wish it was more creamy. Fried rice: 5/5, Your typical "chinese takeout" fried rice, pairs well with the orange chicken. Bbq chicken: 5/5, Really tender & juicy. I also really enjoy this one. Chow mein: 5/5, Flavorful and it tastes good on its own too!

Uniqueness: None. Standard Panda Express Wait Time: [x][x][x][ ][ ] Food Quality: [x][x][x][x][ ] Service: [x][x][x][x][x] Setting: [x][x][x][ ][ ] Recommendation? Craving a quick Chinese-American bite? Go here. Panda Express in general isn't a very unique place as it's just a fast-food chain. This spot that I went to was like any other with all the same dishes you'll see, from the Orange Chicken to the Beijing Beef. The food here was great as is and didn't find anything different good or bad. They had the shields and social distancing guidelines set in place so that was good and everyone was wearing masks while making your order. The wait time was mediocre as it was nearing peak time and many people ordered online so that definitely backed things up. The service when I went was good and I had no issues at all with them. Would I come back to this spot? Probably will when I'm craving Panda again.

The fuck is this were is the rest of the order

Shitty service and dumbass employees working an Asian girl took our order we didn't eat the order so we went to McDonald's where our order was perfect we asked for white rice and we didn't get our 3 entree plate they just gave us beef broccoli and chow mien when we wanted white rice King Po Chicken and Orange Chicken and some Hispanic girl tried to help but she also did a shitty job if you want real good Chinese food go to Jade China on Monterey Rd my mom loves white rice but Panda Express did my mom wrong McDonald's service is better we got our food within 2 minutes

Bowl barely halfway full. Can probably feed a toddler.

This portion size was not worth $11. Other locations fill it to the top. Quick service though.. but not coming back.

Uncooked fried rice and not fresh string bean chicken
    Loan T.

Bought 2 of the 2 item entree plate. First plate: fried rice and double orders of string bean chicken...The rice from the fried rice was hard in the center. Not fully cook. I had barely 3-4 little pieces chicken, plenty of onions (which I had disposed) and old dried out string beans (some ends were uncut with the stems). 2nd plate: chow mein, honey walnut shrimp and string bean chicken... same problem with the string bean since it was the same batch and the honey walnut shrimps were soggy. Only think was fine was the chow mein. I think this place is the worst location for Panda. First time this location but it will be the last time as well. Definitely not rush hour and there was only 4 people ahead of me waiting for their foods. Most of the food on the pans are empty and the food that are left on the trays looks dried out. No, thank you!

First, I'd like to start by saying I definitely don't blame the employees at this location,This seems to have been a vendor issue. While eating my beef and broccoli I found a large maggot looking insect. I called corporate and they offered me a refund for my meal, and sent me an email with the refund process. However, I feel like the general public should be cautioned by this experience .

It's a Panda Express, so... Anyway, this one was dark and cavernous but fine. With its neighbors supplying at least a few tables outside during the pandemic it'd be nice to have that option.

    Food and the rude lady.
    Realasitgets T.

I tried to come here agin 5 months later to give this place a 2nd shot. The lady by the name of cho told me they stopped cooking food. This was 45 min before closing she said they can not cook what I requested and to come back another day. Why close at 10 pm to stop cooking and serving customers 45 min before 10pm. This is a F+

This is a "plate" i got like 10 pieces of chicken.
    Mia B.

This place is a rip off. Not only was Nanci extremely rude she kept rolling her eyes at me when i was taking time to think of what I wanted, I'm not someone who is picky and I often let passive aggressive behavior slide, but she was being blatantly disrespectful. Also the portion size she gave me was ridiculous, i asked for an extra scoop of the orange chicken since she gave me 4 pieces of chicken initially and she decides that the extra scoop is actually my second entree. I feel like i paid 9 dollars for chow mein. Im really disappointed at the lack of service, this has been a repeating problem at this location Update: Management reached out to me and was very kind, they sent me a ticket to try this place out again and that meant a lot considering they were not the ones that made the mistake. Im adding two stars for this reason.

Reduced the size Of to go box by 20% at least, then jacked up prices 10%. Avoid and go indie. Not a good deal.

The salted egg yolk fried chicken wings were awesome. They come out looking super red, but they are not spicy. Great flavor, super good, and very yummy. The cumin lamb was excellent too. It had a little spice, but not too bad, and the lamb was really soft. The mapo tofu with pork was good, but very spicy. The tofu itself was good. The Sichuan high wok was tasty, but it got spicier and spicier the more I ate it, so just be ready for that. Honey walnut shrimp came out very crispy and the sauce was light. The flavor was not too bad, but the shrimp flavor did not come through as much. The Yunnan rice noodle soup with pork and pickled cabbage was good, and the soup itself had nice flavor, but I wish it had more meat. Beef and scallion dumplings were average. Sauteed greens were solid and definitely necessary to balance out the meal. Service was relatively quick, which was nice since we ordered a good amount of food. Everything came out at a good pace, and the meal felt easy overall. Nothing too fancy on the service side, but it got the job done. The inside feels like a big cafeteria. It is fine, but not really a place you go for ambiance. It was also a little hot inside, which made the spicy dishes feel even spicier. Overall, Home Eat is a good spot for flavorful Chinese food, especially if you like spicy dishes and salted egg yolk fried chicken wings.

Other than a few items coming out less than warm, (and yes I'm not talking about the items that come out cold already) all of us really enjoyed everything! Big problem though, the service. Waiter is very much not attentive to anyone. Doesn't look customers in the eye, provides minimal service, hell, we had to ask the support staff to bring us chopsticks for food we had delivered to us 10 minutes ago, which grew cold. He never checked in on us, and we were charged 20% gratuity since we were 12 people. I don't mind auto-gratuity, but when the service is nonexistent, it really doesn't sit well. Overall it was a good experience, but the service is the deciding factor of anyone one of us 12 returning. Really unfortunate service from our waiter, other support staff seemed really nice, but he wasn't in charge of taking care of us, sadly. We were thoroughly ignored. Again, food was good, but service was so poor that this review is mainly negative. Edit: to top is off, delivered the wrong food twice, we cancelled our pork belly buns because they took too long/he ordered mala buns for us instead. Another addition: charged us twice for sea salt cream that we didn't order, and tried to say that we did order it.
