It wasn't busy and there were no cars in the drive thru but I went inside so I could make pit stop. There were several employees behind the counter but only one was taking orders. So I had to wait quite awhile to place my order, which was a just a grilled cheese value basket. It took longer than usual to get my food, and it wasn't until I was down the road that I realized the grilled cheese wasn't really grilled. The bread was not toasted or grilled and the cheese wasn't melted. How difficult is it to make a grilled cheese sandwich anyway. Cheese curds were tasty. They were hot and fresh. There were spilled fries and trash on the dining room floor. Not the best Culver's visit.

I opted for a Tortilla Soup Bowl and hubby ordered the 3 Tacos. My order additionally came with the soup, but as the base was brown rice and black beans, I opted for the soup in a separate soup container. On this day however, I was charged double the price than before. The employee spoke with someone else when I raised concern and he validated that I should be charged the gluten free bread price -- although I wasn't purchasing gluten free bread. I kindly declined to make the purchase. As I was walking out the employee who was wrapping the bread raised her voice saying "I just wrapped all of these and you're not buying them!?" I was taken aback because that's actually her job regardless of what happens after she prepares the food. I definitely won't be returning and I hope the employee is given customer service training.
