There were several people waiting for their orders, and some dine-in customers were coming to the counter to ask about their food. The employees were working fast and efficiently, but it was definitely understaffed. When I finally received my order the custard was melted, so it had been sitting for some time. When we walked in no one greeted us so we went to find a seat and then some guy showed us the sign that said please wait to be seated pretty rudely (it was turned around not even open for the public to see) - Luckily we looked at him weird "like who are you" and then a hostess greeted us so we were done with him - which is good. Really hope he wasn't the owner because that's not how you greet someone, especially when there's three tables filled only. Regardless - We opted to sit in the movie room - hence my blue photos. The service was really long, but we got our waters, and a drink each and watched a movie while we waited for our order. Server said the burgers are excellent. I got the double cheeseburger. I promise you, it was the worst meat I'd tasted in a very long time. Why? It was completely over seasoned with salt and pepper - I am talking inedible...Could not finish it. We also got a salad with grilled chicken on it. The dressing was good but didn't have much lettuce on it - just a lot of toppings. Overall - we won't spent our money here again.

I tend do the drive thru but back in the day would take my daughter inside after going to Crown Theatre and I remember a lot of fun at the Legos table they had. Standard fixture here in Crown Point - been coming here since mid 90's if not before. Always been pleasant. What I like best - menu changes? No worries. Every single time pleasant and willing to tell me what they now have. When I have been pulled up, super, super nice when they bring my food out. They have a value menu ( i think it is like a pick so many and get a discount) which is always a plus. My fav is the rueben but I also have tried and liked the gyros and gyros salad. My mom raves about the fish sandwich so sometimes I make a stop for them around Lent. Those lil sliders are also a nicely done sandwich. Cashier walked me through the choices recently and was super nice while doing so. Not a big fan of curly fries. Liked the steak fries with sea salt, and the jalapeno poppers but all in all - always has been a good experience.

But the branch on Main Street in Crown Point definitely lacks any sort of real "service" and understanding of what a customer is, which, unfortunately seems to be the case in a lot of fast food places. This didn't used to be the case with this location. Our chicken was pretty much okay, and the order was right, but I asked for condiments (especially honey for the biscuits) and it was not included. A mistake is fine, but when I called back, as we like KFC's honey sauce, the person who took my order pretty much "told me" in a very rude and dismissive way that I didn't ask for the honey, and therefore, it was not included. Wouldn't that be something they would offer? He completely "blew me" off as a customer. One "I am sorry" would have meant the world to me. Additionally, I was asked to complete a survey, and asked for a response back, which never came from kfclistens.com. Next time the kids want chicken, we'll drive to Lowell, and hopefully that will be better. But we might just go to Stracks and Van Til, which is just as good, a lot cheaper, and comes with service.
