Honestly I dont do reviews but a shorty named Alissa I think shes shorter n a bit chubby but she was actually soooo rude ... gave a bad attitude when I tried clarifying how much meat comes on the plate because mind you I dont eat Panda Express every day .. and alot of the girls including the manager is snooty .. theres like 2 people actually cool there sorry .. food bomb tho haha but that lil miss thing gone have to check that tude real quick! read more

Normally we love this panda, but lately it has gone down hill. The last couple times we've gone there something is wrong with the string bean chicken and mushroom chicken. They've both taken on a weird sweet flavor that they've never had before. Maybe it's a new chef making the recipe wrong, but it makes both dishes disgusting. On top of that, the last few times we've gone they really short us on the food. It looks like we're getting half scoops of everything, which was never the case before at this panda. I don't know if corporate is cracking down and making the workers serve less, but it's really frustrating when you're not getting your moneys worth with how much everything costs right now. read more

The Ai in the drive-thru constantly get our orders wrong and mixed up, the food is good but it really bums me to see Ai take a job and be so incredibly horrible at it. I truly hope they change it back to a person and NOT Ai. we didn't get our super greens and the white rice got mixed up with another order and therefore I did not get my fried rice that i asked for at the beginning, it is an extreme hassle to have to move each food to the right plate. First time eating at the Lompoc Panda Express and it was actually really good! The broccoli and beef tasted fresh and flavorful as did the honey glazed chicken! The chow mein was better than many other locations where they tend to be really hard. These noodles were softer and had flavor. Overall, great experience with the food! Unfortunately there was an issue with a carbon monoxide alarm and we were all asked to leave pretty much after we just sat down but eating in the car was fine! I'd go eat there again. :) read more

Staff always seems inconvenienced by the mere fact that you even bothered to order from the restaurant. Attitude seems to be a big problem, especially with the server staff. If you're the face of your company, you should act like it. If I order online and their system says it'll be ready by a certain time, I shouldn't have to wait 15 minutes over the time that they've set. Also, their portion sizes are comical and would only satisfy a small child. That's not a kids meal (pictured), that's their excuse of a bowl. read more

Super awesome!!! This one is WAY better than the Santa Maria one. I came during President's Day during lunch and even though it was busy, the staff was fun and friendly, the food's quality was well-made, and the portions were very generous! At the end of our meal, we needed a bag and everyone was busy, but it was so awesome to see the person in charge (the young lady in the black uniform) was the one who quickly came to help me out. I hope she gets paid well because she was super awesome and it seems she definitely makes a big difference working there! If only I lived in Lompoc because that's the kind of environment I would love to work and be in. read more

First of all, the entrances from the streets to this Panda Express were poorly designed. I would bet that anyone new to this Panda Express and/or unfamiliar with the area will most likely drive around in circles before actually finding the parking lot's entrance from the street. This can really frustrate Panda Express's customers before they even get to their business, so I would suggest that this business submits a request to the city to revise this poor design. Secondly, and the most frustrating part of my experience here, was their lack of having food items that are on their menu. They were out of most of the items that we wanted, which was really disappointing. They were out of their white/steamed rice, they were out of their Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, they were out of their Black Peppered Angus Steak, and they were out of their Beijing Beef. After several unsuccessful attempts to place our desired order, I finally asked what they actually DO have. I can occasionally understand being out of something, but to be out of so many items on their menu was really unacceptable, in my opinion. Now for the positive attributes of our experience here. My daughter and I ordered two bowls, one with fried rice and Orange Chicken, and the second with fried rice and Kung Pao Chicken. We also ordered two fountain drinks. We placed our order through the drive-thru, and the customer service was friendly and professional. The orders were accurate, the portion sizes were good, and the quality of the food we ordered was excellent. The overall price for what we ordered was too high, but then high prices seem to be the trend, even for fast-food establishments nowadays. In summary, this seems to be a fairly good Panda Express, but it could easily be much better. Don't eat here. This place is awful. Last night I stopped by this Panda Express to get a bite for dinner. I ordered a combination chow mien plate with broccoli beef and orange chicken. The chow mien was cold. The orange chicken was missing chicken and only consisted of fried batter with glazing. The worst was the broccoli beef which was flavorless and did not have any teriyaki glaze on the beef it is usually cooked with. I told the manager and staff member who was out cleaning tables that something was wrong with the broccoli beef because it was missing flavor. I told her to taste it for herself when she returned behind the counter but she never did. She never bothered to check back with me to confirm my valid concern. This food is Panda Poo. Parking can get congested due to the other businesses but nothing to do with Panda. ALL employees have been friendly. Went through drive through, told to wait on my shrimp. Shrimp wait time usually 5-10 minutes. No big deal. I waited 35 minutes, got out of the car just to check on my food. Long story short, another 15 minutes passes and they lied about the shrimp, and had to make steak. Which they didn't start until I came in, which was why it was 15 minutes. At 40 minutes I told them it wasn't worth the wait anymore, I had to have left minutes ago, was late. So I kindly just asked for a refund so I can leave, I was denied this. Apparently there was no manager present, and I got offer more steak..... after 45 minutes of waiting for "shrimp" I was offered steak.... Who leaves an entire crew of workers without anyone present? What? I'm not a "Karen", but it's not worth waiting 45 minutes, not including the line time, for some mid tier Chinese fast food. Do they even have managers? Or employees that give a single shit? Like I get it, it's fast food. You make min wage. But I'm soooo sick of not getting what I ask for. From getting the wrong beverage, the wrong entrees, the wrong sides, no sauce etc. I stopped using the drive through because of these issues. But today I had to because as soon as I pulled into the lot my baby started to cry. Simple order. 1 plate. They asked if I wanted teriyaki sauce on my teriyaki chicken. I said yes please, and if I could get an extra side. They said of course. I should have checked seeing as this location sucks so much ass, but with a crying infant I wanted to start moving the car so he could fall asleep. Fast forward to home. No teriyaki sauce. Not on the chicken, no extra. And it's really annoying. Teriyaki chicken minus the teriyaki. So plain ass grilled chicken. Probably the best Panda Express I have ever been to lol. Spacious, clean, fresh food and well trained employees. They have all their menu items made fresh to the order and no old left overs that they are trying to get rid of. I picked up an order tonite now and almost every time we go to this restaurant they are Always out of something or other Mostly green bean chicken and always out of white rice at 6pm. pm they are open until 10; invariably they never have white rice and tonite again at 730 they are out of white rice . One of the girls answering the speaker said we cook the rice (takes along time) so we are out by the afternoon. now Who tells a customer you are out of rice in the afternoon? she said it takes a long time to cook OK if you're out of rice in the afternoon how about putting another batch and you have probably eight hours before you close but no they don't do that . I called Santa Maria's panda Expres and ask them if they had white rice tonight they said yes they did I also ask them do they cook it more than once a day and he said yes when they run out they prepare another batch even though it takes a long time what a novel idea. I know of people that will drive to Santa Maria and pick up their order rather than go to this band expressed due to the management of how they run this place if I was the owner of that place I think I would be seriously try to do some better training they're all nice in there I'm not saying that but their lack of organization is not I'm sure it's the owner that's directing that but they need to straighten out something either that Store will not be in existence very long if thekeep that up read more

Well I keep coming back to this place about once a year thinking that maybe their good, but every time, including yesterday I am disappointed. Their fried rice is terrible their chow mein is awful and the chicken I got yesterday was bland. First of all I used the app to order my food. The app said the meal would be ready at 6:00 p.m. so I arrived at about 6:03 and I was told it would be a 10-minute wait. 26 minutes later I received my food, which as stated previous, was mediocre.
