Tried it out for the first time recently. The food tasted okay, but we won't be back. The food we wanted to try was a 15-20 minute wait, so we decided to pass. For nearly $30, we had the most pitiful portions of food. Like comically small. Luckily, I had some frozen egg rolls and rice at home that I made to supplement our order. We placed an order for a two item plate with broccoli beef and one other side. They only gave 1 piece of beef and the rest was broccoli which wasn't cooked very well. Used the drive thru and was asked to pull in front to wait for my vegetables for one of three, two item plates. The first of four cars to pull up front. Waited 27 minutes. Tried calling inside to check status. Phone was continuously busy and I had kids in the car so I couldn't go inside. When I finally got my food (after 2 cars got theirs) the food was cold, two items were wrong, and there wasn't much food in the containers. We're still all hungry! I told the clerk who delivered the food to the car. She asked if I'd like more food added to the containers. Not after I've complained for fear of food tampering chances. I did notify corporate. Popped into after going for a hike. Read some really negative reviews. Expected badness. We placed our order directly after going in. Opted to wait for fresh food to come up. Paid and they gave us free drinks for waiting We didn't ask for the drinks or any comp. Everything was clean. The manager Will( we have no connection with we are not related and don't know him) is fabulous! We've seen him deal with some exceptionally difficult customers and with such grace never giving a hint of irritation. Panda Express is fortunate to have him as an employee. We recently had our daughter hear our of town and we wanted something fast and easy so we popped in and she was pleasantly surprised by how Panda has improved over the years as well as how nice and efficient the staff were at this location. It also happened to be crazy busy ( for little Lompoc) being a holiday week. So yes for a fast food place. It deserves 4 stars. read more

I actually felt bad for her perhaps something in her life was wrong. The 2 stars are NOT for her she gave me my order quickly and efficiently. The food was old and cold. The string bean chicken was horrible. The Rangoon's were burned really bad. I was going to order egg rolls and noticed them really brown just below burned. I should have checked the Rangoon's. Average Chinese food but they are not great anymore. Rice tastes bad and portions are for kids. OK so I do enjoy their drive-thru option but their prices seem to go higher and higher and portions are getting smaller and smaller. Ordered a three item combo and tried the steamed veggies instead of their rice or noodles. Ordered orange chicken, Beijing Beef and Spicy chicken. She had attitude the whole time she was talking to me and then I asked her if she could add a drink and she said "no I'll get in trouble if I add a drink at the window" which I call bs.. every fast food place I've ever been to has been able to add something at the window. Please train your employees on hospitality. I placed an order through the drive through and was asked at the end if I'd like to make a donation to the childrens hospital. I usually do and just say round up to the nearest dollar. Now, today I just simply said no thank you. She then said I will have your total at the window. Cool. I pulled up and she said you don't want to donate your $.30 cents. I again politely told her I said no. She grabbed my card with an attitude and grabbed my order, handed my card and food and quickly closed the window. I checked my bag and no napkins. I honked to grab her attention and said can I please have some napkins matching her same energy. Not a peep from her handing me over napkins to quickly get out her way. This is the second time this happened to me. Specifically asked for soy sauce and texted the driver and asked for extra. I got none and no straw for my drink. Definitely not worth the $25 I paid with the generous tip I gave. My husband and I split a 3 item plate and he is allergic to seafood so they have always obliged us with an extra plate.. They're too cheap to give out a plate. Then got all the way home to find out they forgot some of my order. Also the "Teriyaki" chicken didn't come with any "Teriyaki" sauce. When I drove back to the store spoke with someone I think her name was Siera, She told me the "Teriyaki" chicken didn't come with "Teriyaki" sauce anymore. She said I would need to ask for it. So I then needed to ask for my missing items and sauce like they were doing me a favor. No apology and no manager on duty. I've been frequenting this location for over two years now and I've only had one mishap which costed me maybe 10 minutes of waiting.. Very good Chinese food on town. Beats out Dragon Palace across the street hands down. Workers are polite and kind. You can try any of the dishes before making you decision. Very clean and calming place to enjoy a nice lunch or dinner. We love their Beijing chicken and other spicy dishes. Also get a egg roll too. read more

The food is edible, portions for kids, and you also get solicited for donations. Every customer gets pushed into donating. Called checkout charity. The scam is to make the customer fell pressured into donating by asking loud enough for others to hear. Make you fell bad saying no. After complaining, the owner, I mean manager, asked about my complains. I told him your workers are soliciting for money or scientifically called checkout charity. He said they match the donation, a total fabrication. If so it would be plastered everywhere. He did show me a poster showing how Panda Express donation $4k last month. He did do his job, the only reason I added a star. I'm done going here. I donate but won't be forced into the checkout donation scam. read more

The sign on their door says they open at 10:00 am today (I got here at 10:15), and the doors are still locked at 10:28am. The employees are in there working, and saw me try to get in, but no one has opened the doors. ......update....at 10:30, someone unlocked the doors. The food was just fine and the employees were courteous. The mixed veggies weren't ready yet so I had to wait. I overheard a customer ask for some string beans, and the employee said they weren't prepped yet, so it would take about 30 minutes. It seems that the management needs to bring the crew in earlier to start the food prep earlier, and get the doors open at the posted time. read more
