I think this Chinese takeout was one of the first takeout this city had, I'd have to estimate probably 1992 it started at that location in the mall and still there. When it first showed up it was a hit for a couple years until others started popping up. Today was my first visit in decades, we had just came out of the theater and was thinking Panda Express, but all I wanted was Chow Mein and Combo Express was easy access. When we got there I got a small combo that was 2 items, Chow Mein and Orange Chicken. I looked at the prepared pans with all the foods and wasn't too thrilled about what I saw. Got home in 5 minutes opened up and started chowing, my only intention was too eat half because I had surgery a few days earlier. The Chow Mein was just okay, I love Pearl East Chow Mein 2nd would be Panda Express. The Orange Chicken was good, both items were warm at least it wasn't cold. Combo Express had an incident in the 90's and I had wondered what had happened after that, I googled it and read the same news as I remembered it. I guess if your in the mall and had a craving for Chinese this would help, but if your home and you need to order take out or delivery then go for your go to Chinese regular. read more

Food is sometimes good and sometimes bad. Their service is awful they are never polite and their hospitality skills are poor. Their service sometimes is slow they don't have enough options. Their food is now starting to become more expensive and they asking for tips. They guilt trip you into tipping. read more

The combo plate is very reasonably priced and comes with a generous portion as well. Not a ton of variety in their selection, but all the essentials are there. The food is fresh and doesn't sit out for too long, which is good. Think of this place as being of a more mom and pop Panda Express style place, with better service and better food. I may have given 4 stars but I'll give it 5 stars just for being my favorite restaurant in the mall. The interior and ambiance are a little dated, but because it's clean I don't mind that. read more

The food is great for a fast dine and owners tolerable but the staff could use with some upgrading, especially the high school employees. They tend to be rude and rather hostile. Just the other day, I went in, got a to-go meal since I was in a rush, and the employee rudely served up the large to-go, shoved it at me, all but snatched the money from my hands, and didn't even bother offering or putting in eating utensils or napkins in with the tray. Thieves--My sister and I went there on Friday and she order a combo meal and Iced tea and paid for hers. Then I ordered the same and paid. Went to get my Iced tea and the girl said my sister got mine which she didn't even know what I was going to order because she already went and sat down but I went to see if she got two drinks and she had not. I went back and was told I couldn't get mine because she supposedly didn't pay for hers and they considered that one she had was mine. The girl behind the counter would only give me mine if we could prove my sister paid for hers but they didn't give her a receipt and my sister paid in cash. BEWARE! of them. They don't even give the money back so I think the girl behind the counter had to account for a drink she gave to a friend so she used me. Again. BEWARE! read more
