My partner and I found this place on Yelp. We were the only customers upon arrival and dined in the restaurant to ourselves. Seemed like a private lunch date. The overall decor was homey like we were at our relatives house. Service was immaculate and had an incredible experience. The lady named Tu was SO NICE AND WELCOMING! She was very sweet and friendly! She was very communicative with us, made small talk and was very kind and accommodated everything we requested. She brought us everything we asked for and tended to our needs. She came to check on us at reasonable times and even brought us a sample of jujubees fruit to eat that she washed and plated. She said it was from her neighbors backyard. That to us was love and beyond our expectations! The place was easy to find, parking was okay, food was good, portions were decent, and the pricing was reasonable. We were so hungry we couldn't stop eating! My only concerns were cleaner placemats and table cloths and chair covers, and there were flies gnats flying around which was kind of hard to eat. We support small mom and pop shops and will definitely be back to support the business. Unfortunately we don't live in the area but wanted to give them some love here since they showed us great hospitality. We said our goodbyes at the door before leaving and made a new friendship with Tu. We had our last conversation at the door and headed for departure. It was a sweet moment I won't forget!

Drunken noodles filled us up not to spicy service was awesome we felt at home we will be back

I'm not the best to critique the food, as I have only ate at one other Thai restaurant. But the experience I had from walking in to walking out of Thai Hut was nothing but exceptional. I have lived within a 5 mile radius of this establishment for my 38 years of life and regret not coming here sooner. I placed my order in house to go as planned. After my order was taken by the sweetest lady she then proceeded to bring me a glass of the most amazing tea as I waited in such comfy place. She was never overbearing but kept an amazing conversation while checking out. I will definitely be back! Ps. After eating the food I can't believe I have waited so long to try this! It is amazing the noodles, the sauce, the broccoli and thick tender meat! It's like chow mein without the crunchy veggies my daughter makes me pick out.

Upon walking in, there was a little boy (owner's grandkid?) playing with his toys by himself directly in front of the main entrance doors. It took a few minutes for anyone to come out front to greet and seat us. There was only one other couple and one or two other customers there at the time we dined in. It was not busy at all... The ambience was truly a mom and pops shop with Christmas decor and table settings in October. 2 Positive Stars for the clean ladies' restroom. Now the food...We came for the glowing reviews but were very disappointed by every single dish we selected for dinner that night. There's a first time for everything, and this is the very first time I was served Pad Thai in soup form. It was super watery and not tasty or flavorful whatsoever. The curry tasted OK but was still a disappointment. Customer service was super friendly. They also offered us a small plate of complimentary Keebler Fudge cookies at the end of our dinner. I hate giving low stars reviews, but Yelp world needs to know about their watery Pad Thai. I personally wouldn't come back here...

Excellent service, even better food, family owned and run, like eating at your mom's or grandma's house. Always great for takeout!

I love coming here whenever I get the chance--the ambiance and atmosphere make it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The food is excellent. Their take on pho soup is especially well executed and has quickly become one of my favorite dishes. The flavors are balanced and authentic, and you can really tell the care that goes into preparing it. Coming from Los Angeles, where great pho is easy to find, it's refreshing to be able to enjoy a bowl on the Central Coast that's made properly and with such attention to flavor. Thai Villa has definitely become one of my go-to spots.

At times slight delays in service but there appeared to be maybe 3 total people working? It wasn't a huge wait though so no complaints. Fried tofu- for me this was a 2? Cooked well but so bland. The sauce was great so maybe tofu is meant to be sauced only? Without the sauce it just tasted like water and batter. Bbq chicken noodle curry- one of the specialty dishes and boy did it deliver! Very tender chicken, amazing depth of flavor and nice portion. Easily 2 meals in one for me so the price made sense. I think some people might think it's pricey but I think it's spot on based on the ingredients, the flavor and the portions. I did try my friends spring roll and it also was amazing! If you're in nipomo or wanting some great Thai food, stop by and show them some love! Ps-they only do cash or Venmo so be prepared!

I'm so glad I tried this place! We went here after making a reservation, and I noted on my…read morereservation that we have a small dog and they facilitated that. So I really appreciate it. They let us sit inside the restaurant and a little hidden from everyone else which was perfect because my small dog could be barking every chance she got. Now before I visited, I saw the overall rating on Yelp isn't that great, but I assume it could be something totally unrelated to the flavor of the food itself because the pictures look great to me. And I'm Asian so I know what a good asian food looks like. Well I can tell you, everything we ordered were delicious, no notes! We got the lumpia, calamari, and fried rice. The fried rice is noted as market price so we didn't know how much it would be. I asked what comes with it and it didn't come with steak or prawns so I assumed it would be okayish. Well the fried rice was delicious and big portions with some sausages and fried egg, but holy moly it was the priciest fried rice! Haha $40. It's okay tho, still glad we tried it. The lumpia was yummy, a little on the salty side but very enjoyable. Now the calamari was the winner to me! I think it might be the best calamari I've had. Not only cos the calamari itself was good, not chewy, and crispy on the outside; but also everything else that came with it to cut the richness! I think it's some pickled onions, might be some kimchi too. Just try it! I would love to try the fried chicken also but they're sold out. Next time call them first to make sure they spare you some!

The food, we had the lumpia, papaya salad, and pad see ew it came out quickly and was warm and fresh. I saw some complaints about the papaya salad because it seems that folks expected fresh not dehydrated shrimp but it's described in the menu and actually works well in this dish. The spicy level was good on the salad but I could've gone for more heat on the rest of the dishes. The lumpia was crisp and delish, it was just out of the fryer but it wasn't oily at all the dipping sauce was a perfect compliment. The pad see ew was okay, the smoke flavor was there but it lacked a little flavor unfortunately. Overall a great meal, great flavors with smaller portions but definitely worth a visit.

Delicious! Very reasonably priced! Great, friendly service! it's a must visit!…read more We have passed by here many times, but the place never seemed that appealing from the outside. Located right at the corner of a V intersection, but the parking lot is tiny, maybe enough for 6-8 cars max. The inside is not any bigger. With about 6 tables total, it's actually never completely full every time we have been here. What surprises us each and every time is the amount of to go orders they get! Literally, at least 1 call in/walk in/online order every 10-15 mins! Having been to several Thai restaurants on the Central Coast, Tasty Thai is the cheapest so far out of all the ones we've been to here! Their portion is also good for at least a couple dollars cheaper per dish compared to anywhere else! With the exception of the Panang curry, which has great flavor, but just too watery like a soup and not enough veggies/toppings, every single dishes we have tried here have been great to excellent! Our go to dishes every single time are satay chicken 10/10, beef salad 9/10, pad see ew with beef 8/10, and we would make the effort to try a new dish for that second entree. Excellent mom's and pop's restaurant! Give them a try! You will not be disappointed.
